About this house rental
Nestled in Black Forest, this lovely house for R 7,091 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The house is 3800 square feet and has three bedrooms on the 1st level that sleep 6, a master bedroom on the main level that sleeps 2 and if you have more folks, we have two single mattresses that folks can put on the floor and make up for two additional people. Plus a couch that could sleep small children and a PAC N Play. Great place for Air Force parents wanting to attend Graduation or Parent's weekend or for a family get together. The house sits on 5 acres and has a view of Pikes Peak from the front deck that guests have access to. Guests can enjoy the quiet solitude of the fountain, hammock, and fire pit off of the back patio or go out and play basketball, tennis or pickle ball on the sport court or enjoy BBQing on the front deck and having a glass of wine by the firepit. They also can enjoy a movie, cup of hot chocolate or a glass of wine in the comfortable living space downstairs in front of a warm cozy fire or upstairs in the family room. The guest have their own private entrance off of the back patio, which allows them to come and go or come in through the front door. There will be a lock-box on both doors or in the vicinity. A door has recently been installed at the bottom of the stairs so guests downstairs have complete privacy and noise from the upstairs doesn't come downstairs. They have access to three bedrooms downstairs, 1 bathroom, family room, gym and full access to the kitchen upstairs, dining room, formal living room, family room, laundry room, two bathrooms, a powder room and the front deck. All of the homes in our development sit on 5 acre lots so you have privacy with views of Pikes Peak from the front deck. Certainly don't have the hustle and bustle of the city. Gatherings of family and friends are allowed but no big parties. Bagels, cereal, and snacks are provided. Guests have complete access to every room in the house with the exception of the locked office space. They can enter the house through the lower patio entrance. The lockbox is on the chair or they can come in through the front door off the patio and the lockbox is on the chair closest to the door. Parking is on the north side of the house for the patio entrance and the front of the house if coming in through the front deck. The upstairs has vaulted ceilings in every room with the exception of the dining room. All of the rooms upstairs and downstairs have recently been painted and the master bathroom has been completed upgraded with a jacuzzi tub. Ceiling fans are installed in two bedrooms downstairs, the master bedroom and the family room upstairs. There is no air conditioning in the house since the house sits at 7740 sq feet and gets cool in the evenings.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tranquil Palmer Drive! The house was perfect for my family (2 sons) and grandma! The kitchen had absolutely everything you could want, and Sally had many wonderful, snacks and treats for us which was such a benefit! the property itself is beautiful.. gorgeous skies all day, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, a million visible stars at night. The deck and back patio were lovely and we spent every meal enjoying the Colorado breeze! We had fun on the basketball court, watching a lot of football, and taking walks looking at all the local working ranches.
We’ve stayed many homes and this truly ranks the highest for is comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, beautiful grounds and truly spectacular hosts that make you feel like you right at home.

Great place and even better hosts! The house is in a quiet location and has everything you need. Sally was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed going for walks and seeing all the mule deer that live in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

We rented for a wedding weekend and got to enjoy gorgeous views. Easy access to the town of monument. It’s near a bunch of horse farms as well which, for us, was fun to go walk and visit. Was provided with quick breakfast foods, coffee and small toiletries. Our whole party was sad to leave!

Our family of five stayed in this lovely home during parents weekend at the Air Force Academy. It is spacious, clean and homey. It is very close to the north gate of the Academy. Sally is A gracious host. The extra touches such as bagels and cream cheese, orange juice and milk in the fridge, M&Ms and chocolate treats make it feel like home!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend
Sally is a great communicator and wants to please her guests. Many nice touches were included. The area is quiet yet close to everything that we needed. The added bonus was seeing the wonderful deer just feet away from the house. We will definitely look forward to staying in this home away from home again.

Beautiful inside and out
We came for a family wedding. This was the perfect place for a bunch of family to stay together and have others over to hang out in the spacious home or on the amazing patios (the waterfall was the best!). Host is very available and helpful.

Awesome Country Hideaway
Was better than we expected. A beautiful oasis of luxury secluded in the woods just east of Monument, CO. The property owner, Sally, was always just a text message away and was very accommodating and helpful. The whole family enjoyed the outside patio with gas fire pit and tennis/basketball court. Being just a few minutes away from Monument and just a short drive from Colorado Springs, It was the perfect get-a-way. Relaxing yet close to activities.
We highly recommend this for anyone wanting great accommodations at a very reasonable price and no hidden fees.
