A brilliant location. Friendly staff. Room was nice. No kettle in the room but you can go downstairs to make a cuppa.

Bathroom and toilet very small. Fine for a couple of nights but would be a pain for longer stays or if you were a larger person.

Comfortable accommodation close to Altstadt. Charming host.

The location is great. Also the fact that one can use the facilities of the breakfast room in the evening. Breakfast is fine. Hosts are very helpful. Although there is no parking for bicycles, we could leave them by the piano.

May be the breakfast is a bit expensive compared to other places. But hosts take care to propose true local products !

Thanks to a small/(older?) building the bathroms where sort of small which meant the toilets placement where kind of odd, but at the same time sort of the only place it coud be at.

The location was great. We really like the setup and the room. What really made it special were the people working there. They took the time to tell us about the city and suggestions on what to do. We really appreciate the extra effort. The breakfast is also amazing.

It is an older building so the noise can be heard from the street if you have a front room, but they offer earplugs, as they recognize this.

The room was clean and really nice, the owner was super friendly and gave us great suggestions for restaurants that were bang on. He really goes above and beyond to make your stay great.

Visiting Regensburg regularly, but this time the hotel add something very nice to our stay. Nice rooms, very friendly staff, near city centre. Castle hotel has for sure "genius loci".

Location of this hotel is just perfect - in front of the Thurn & Taxis Palace, in the old town, but it was also very quiet at night. Rooms are not big, but comfortable, modern and very cosy. Bathroooms were also very clean and pleasant. Despite the COVID pandemic, personnel provided all the services, breakfast was served to the table (very tasty!), and we felt safe all the time.

Parking only in the nearby parkplatz. Not a big deal, but for clarity, it would be nice to have it included in the overall price - it's not clear for people from abroad to understand how to find the place to leave your car safely...
