Zimmer Super, Frühstück schlecht

Schön grosse Zimmer. Direkt am See.

Das Frühstück war schlecht. Ein riesen Chaos. Vieles hat gefehlt. Personal war total überfordert. Wenig Auswahl. Andere Geste haben schon angefangen die Tische selbst abzuräumen weil das Personal einfach nicht da war. Sehr Enttäuschend.

enttäuscht

bin diesmal sehr enttäuscht vom San Gottardo, sonst waren wir immer im Belvedere. Gut ist immer noch die Lage

Die Betten im San Gottardo sind knüppelhart gewesen. Furchtbar. Das San Gottardo ist auch extrem hellhörig. Man hört sehr gut was der Zimmernachbar im Bad macht. Auch wurde im Frühstücksraum eine neue Kaffemaschine aufgestellt, die nicht mal einen einfachen Kaffe hinbekommt. Für ein normalen Kaffe sollte ich 3x Espresso lang drücken. Gut, ich war dann den ganzen Tag wach. Ausserdem entstand so schnell eine Schlange vorm Automaten, der Platz ist da ja so schon begrenzt am Buffet. Sonst wurde ja immer ein Kännchen Kaffe serviert. diesmal aber leider nicht mehr. Am Rührei wurde ebenfalls gespart. Beim Nachfüllen kam nur noch dieses Pulver-/ Kunstrührei. Schrecklich. Hab ich hier noch nie erlebt. Der Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer war auch kaputt. Sehr enttäuschend diesmal.

Schöne Auszeit am Lago Maggiore

Sehr schönes Hotel mit unglaublich freundlichem Personal und direktem Seeblick. Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Direkter Seeblick, tolle Lage. Geschäfte und Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar.

Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Balkon

Traumhafte Lage mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick vom Zimmer mit Balkon. Bequeme Betten und sauberes Zimmer. Frühstück lecker, Italienisch.

Am Sonntag völlig überfülltes Frühstücksbuffet, könnte besser angeordnet sein. Kaffeemaschine zu laut und der Kaffee war nicht heiß genug. Der Toaster war katastrophal.

Rilassante , piacevolmente supportato dalla vista Lago .

Posizione ottima, colazione ben servita e abbondante nelle scelte, stanza silenziosa e spaziosa.

Schermo del televisore un pò piccolo , inserirei un paio di ciabatte usa e getta x ciascun ospite .

Great place for a few nights.

The breakfast was just ok. I missed a larger assortment of bread or rolls. Otherwise it was great. The dining room was pretty and spacious. The staff were all very sweet and attentive. For the money definitely great value.

All over Italy the bathrooms don’t have any place where you can put your toiletries bags and brushes But that’s ok too.

Pleasant place to stay

Pleasant hotel to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size of rooms, good WiFi. Hotel is located just in front of Lago Maggiore lake. Plenty of caffees and restaurants nearby on walking distance. Tasty and sufficient breakfast.

A nice stay

It's right next to ferry terminal. We like the lake view. The gentleman wearing glass at front desk is so polite and professional. Actually all the staff at hotel are cheerful and energetic and upbeat. It gave me the best impression of group of staffs of our trip.

Hotel sounds insulation is poor due to the age of hotel. But I was aware of it and didn't bother much.

10! Great location, very good hotel, enjoyed my stay.

A very good hotel, great atmosphere, beautiful decor, clean, nice staff and a super location right at the lake in the historic center of Verbania with lots of nice terraces and views over Lago Maggiore. You are close to the Lake but you have also great access to the surrounding mountains. The hotel offers an extensive breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Alessio, who is very friendly and always helpful to the guests during breakfast and dinner!

That I had to leave.

the location is great right by the ferry. we booked a lake facing view and it was on the first floor. would recommend booking second or third floor if pos so you can see over the trees at the front of the hotel

Adequate for a stopover

Asked for a room upgrade (at extra cost) as original room, in the attics was depressing

Nothing too fancy in this typically Italian lakeside hotel but we would definitely return

Super lakeside location opposite the ferry stop for the Borromean Islands and Stresa. Charming , helpful staff in reception. Off site secure car parking. We were pleased to be given a room in the adjoining Horel Belvedere which had a side view of the lake - upper floor rooms generally quieter and a lake view a must.

Breakfast was good if a little dull In its food selection.

Nice breakfast, location, stuff

Air conditioner worked as fan, not as A/C, there is no way to adjust desire temperature down ,owner keeps temperature 25,5 degrees everywhere in every room controlled by the office.

Good value at a great location for Lake Maggiore

location was perfect, right by the pallanza ferry station. the room had a lake view which was what I reserved but the size of the room was small. the breakfast, included in the room rate, could have been better. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful

breakfast could be better quality. Also the room could have been bigger.

Great place, with spectacular views

Located opposite the ferry terminal made it easy to get around, the rooms although a little basic were comfortable and breakfast was a good selection.

Parking was a little far down the road, near the hospital in a field

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location - would definitely return.

The hotel was beautiful, the reception staff were helpful, the breakfast and coffee were good, and the location was exceptional. Free public parking is available down the road, very convenient.

The bed was really hard, so I requested a second duvet to fold and lie on top of. That was the only downside to an otherwise wonderful stay.
