About this bed and breakfast
Situated in White Rock, this lovely bed and breakfast for R 2,790 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Ocean view, modern recently outfitted 2 bed suite just steps to the White Rock beach and restaurants. This unit is licensed by the City of White Rock and complies with new provincial legislation. Level entry, no stairs. Unit has a full kitchen including dishwasher, quality cookware and fittings. There is in-suite laundry, one bathroom with a shower/tub. Heated polished concrete floors throughout, exposed engineered beams and open concept layout. In White Rock, 1 minute walk to beach. Dedicated driveway outside the door and is easiest with a small or medium vehicle. Bedroom one is larger and has a king sized bed and massive closet. Bedroom two has two twin beds and a wardrobe. We can convert the two twins to a King-short upon advance request. Owners live in the upper unit of this home in case you need anything during your stay. Everyone is welcome in our home but please, no pets, parties, or smoking or drug use of any kind on the property. Reasonable tidiness during your stay is enormously appreciated. My family and I spent the Thanksgiving weekends here. We had an excellent stay at this place. The location is great, offering easy access to the beach. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodation. The room was clean, and the tasteful decoration crated a cozy and inviting atmosphere. All in all, it was a great experience. We will try to come back in the summertime.

A pleasant surprise when we arrived at the property not having to share a bathroom with strangers as can happen at some properties. The host were very accommodating. We loved the suite it had everything needed and very clean. Location was central to all restaurants and attractions. We would highly recommend this property to anybody. Fabulous location and wonderful accommodation. Only 10 minutes from Hazelmere Golf Club where my son was getting married. The suite was nicely decorated and very comfortable for 4 adults. Very quiet even though on a busy street. Location was a short walk to the promenade for great restaurants and walks along the ocean. If I’m back in White Rock I hope to stay here again.

The property is lying in the form basement, which is on street niveau. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two beds. A large room with a kitchen at one end, a large table in the middle and small table with sofa and arrmchair near a window in the front . You need the electric lights all day. The bedroom and bath get a little daylight from glas up in the wall. The car can be parked in front. In spite of that we liked being there, not only because we had no long way from there to visit our relatives in the Senior-Residence. Accross a small steep street there are stairs which lead down to another street at the seaside. The property was clean and had contained all things you need for some days.

My partner, young child and I had a great stay on this property. Beds are comfortable. Sheets felt cool and luxurious.
Communication with host was great. We are light sleepers and weren’t bothered by noises from upstairs or the street.
During our stay there was an extra visitors pass for our guests and it made for a less stressful trip for them.
The only improvement, we would suggest is shampoo/conditioner. We never travel with it but it wasn’t listed as an amenity either.
Overall it was a A+ stay and we would highly recommend it to others. Also the price point is amazing for location and quality.

My daughter, granddaughter and I just had a fantastic three night stay at this lovely property. It exceeded our expectations, and the gracious, friendly hosts, Geoff and Gillian made the check in/check out process a breeze. The first evening we had a problem opening the patio door, and sent a text to the hosts. Within a few minutes, Geoff had arrived to fix the very minor issue. The suite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the kitchen was fully outfitted. The main bedroom was large and spacious enough to put a travel playpen in for my 8 month old granddaughter, and the cleanliness of the suite was excellent! We felt comfortable in allowing my granddaughter, a new little crawler, to safely wander around the living spaces. Proximity to the walkway along the ocean front made early morning strolls a breeze, and the view was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and the gracious hosts. We will definitely be back!

We had a great getaway at this well kept and beautifully appointed property. Restaurants and shops are just down the hill and we enjoyed the beach and walking on the pier. It’s an easy walk down the hill if you take the stairs, but 88 steps back up can be a bit daunting. We did it once but then traveled down the hill by car where pay parking was easy enough to find. We checked out the Sourh Surrey pool a short drive away during open, drop in swim and our daughters had a great time. For a change of pace we took a trip into Vancouver and enjoyed Stanley Park — easy to get there from White Rock if you remember to avoid peak commuter times. We’d love to stay at the property again! So much fun!

First, the hosts of this property, Geoff & Gillian, are very accommodating! Their home is just as lovely in person as it’s on line presence. The distance to the ocean is a short walk, where you’ll find many restaurants & shops along the way. It’s far enough away to be a quiet experience but close enough not to have too much of an incline to get to & from the ocean. We had a marvelous time, only wish we would have had the time to stay longer. This property felt like home to us. It’s very comfortable with beautiful furnishings & decor. Plus BC is a breathtaking place! We would highly recommend this property for your next BC getaway! We will choose it again upon our next visit there! The property was very clean and very well appointed. The owners were easy to reach and responsive.
I have severe nut allergies and they went out of the way to make me comfortable, even running the regular dishes through the dishwasher before we got there.
Driving around this area was very different for us and parking was a bit tricky but doable.

Overall, this was a lovely place. Very spacious and modern and convenient to many of the fun things in White Rock like restaurants, the pier and promenade, plus Centennial Park. The kitchen is amazing—huge and well stocked: We even hosted a small Easter dinner with turkey! Comfy bed in the master suite, good shower, good tv. Only a couple of issues that are probably pretty minor to most people: The unit is right next to the street which isn’t super busy, but it does have some traffic, plus there’s construction going on a few doors down. We’re noise sensitive and definitely needed our earplugs to sleep—again, many people won’t care as it wasn’t too bad and it certainly didn’t ruin our trip. Other than that, the wifi is spotty as others have mentioned, and the lock was sticky giving us a bit of anxiety on check in (hosts were out of town). If these issues get fixed the place will be even more awesome. We certainly enjoyed our stay regardless!

Super fun stay at this property. We walked to West Beach and East Beach and various restaurants in the area and drove to Crescent Beach in Surrey. The property itself was well furnished and extremely clean. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The owners were very personal and gave us a tour of the suite to make sure that we would have no issues during our stay. The stairs to the beach and waterfront shopping were right across the street from our door.amd the views were spectacular both day and night. We will make this a regular stay for our coastal events.

Geoff’s place is perfect for a family getaway to the coast. Walking distance to heaps of cafes and restaurants as well as the ocean and famous Whiterock pier. The unit is well equipped, very clean and spacious. Stayed for 4 nights with my partner and infant and would 110% return for any future trips to Whiterock.
