Can’t beat the location, located away from the party area, but still walking distance and across from beach. We had a staff help us for the first 2 days Dedy who was amazing, booked us a snorkelling trip, bikes and was super attentive to our group.

There was really loud construction right outside our bathroom, at one stage I looked up from my shower and could see a worker above me. The next day they covered the shower with tin so no longer had a nice open air bathroom, but privacy at least. The construction noise was all day and extremely loud. When brought up to the manager (more than once) there was no apology or resolve offered.

Best hotel, beach, and vibe on Gili Air.

Everything you’d expect from a professionally ran hotel: very well designed bungalows, crisp white sheets and firm pillows, towels for every need, water in the room, fridge and safe, lush garden with many plants right at your door, two swimming pools, proximity to the best island beach and many restaurants, tasty breakfast, general chilled vibe but most of all how cool and welcoming the manager, Rob, and all his wonderful staff had been.

Your staff need to be more friendly to guest

We got the best room at your hotel which is facing the swimming pool and the sea, your sea shore is exceptional with the karang and fish surround. Your diving master is the best and brought my daughter for the night diving safely. The sunrise view from your hotel is very amazing, you should promote more your snorkeling shore and sunrise view.

We expected a TV in the room and could stay longer than 10.30 to check out since the boat to Bangsal or other Gili is at 12.50. Your staff is good, but maybe do not ask us to check out immediately at 11.00 am since we were told by your other staff that check out time at 11.00. As we know that your check in time at 14.00 so you still have much time to make the room ready for next guest.

A magical place on earth

The reef in front of the hotel. It is amazing. we saw turtles, an octopus (it was our first) and many fish/corals. The hotel was nice and clean. Friendly people!

We found a gigantic spider in the open air bathroom. Not the fault of the hotel but worth mentioning if you do not like spiders. It might be worth of informing tourists/activity providers to be careful and try not to place their feet/fins on the bottom of the reef. As we saw some people (locals and tourist) destroying beautiful corals. (of course we told them to be careful). And maybe forbid acces when it is low tide. You have such an wonderful ecosystem in front of the hotel, which is getting rare in the world, protect this magical world.

Nice, clean room; great location; friendly staff, diving on-site. A very pleasant stay.

- Room was large, clean and comfortable. Patio was nice. - Staff was friendly, helpful. - Nice having Rob, the manager on-site. He was friendly and helpful. - Great diving staff and nice having the diving center on-site. - Breakfast was excellent. - Location is great. Can snorkel right off the beach and there are several nice restaurants within walking distance

- Pool area is old/dated and not so nice. - Some of the curtains in the room need to be replaced. They’re old, dirty and are too long, so drag on the floor.

Very good

Really central location, nice view while having breakfast, great room with enough space. Good breakfast. Half open bathroom/ open shower is kinda cool. Daily cleaning and free water refilling is super nice. So many cats and kittens around, really loved that. Outside area was really clean compared to other parts of the island.

Bed was a little too hard and during rainy season the bathroom was moist due to the open shower, which is super cool when it’s dry. Breakfast had a relative great choice and was delicious, however the portions were a little small and only one item person from the card, another item costs money. Could be a little more to keep someone full for the day.

Beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Incredibly nice and helpful staff! The including breakfast was nice. The bungalow was very cozy and a perfect stay for two. Perfect location for snorkeling, just a few meters from the door and you can swim with beautiful corals and fishes. Furthermore, it was just a quick walk from the harbour. The diving instructors at the hotel were also amazing, I even decided to stay longer on Gili air just to do my diving certificate with them.

Wi-fi was not that reliable, not ideal for digital nomads.

Good stay in Gili Air

Good location close to the harbor and the beach in Gili Air. Breakfast was also good and with more choices compared to other hotels. We appreciated the glass water bottles in the room that we could refill during our stay.

The staff seemed to care more for the guests involved in the diving course, but overall was fine. I found it a bit pricey for the service offered and not a great value for money.

Rooms were basic but a good size. No hair dryer . Walls were thin and noise carried between rooms .

Passable

Possibility to dive, although we didn't use it. Personnel of the restaurant.

Only focus on divers, no beach at the hotel front (although pictures advertised otherwise), safety lock beeping in the middle of the night (we had one sleepless night because of that) and lack of real will to cooperate on schedule changes that were out of our control (despite of earlier saying they are ok with them). Also the offering at the restaurant was very limited.

Great place to stay

I stayed for 4 days and took diving course here. great location, it is right in front of the beach. all staffs here were very helpful! they took care each my queries attentively - from diving course, airport transfer (which was punctual and smooth), places to go around the island and bike rent. It seems like they have a schedule for housekeeping which is not everyday (cmiiw) - but, I'm fine with it.

Good stay and amazing scuba diving :)

Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was confortable, and the outdoors bathroom was GREAT! We've also had a great experience scuba diving with them! AC was modern and great.

Room was small and we could hear everything from the outside. The breakfast was poor. The pools are also very small (one of them used mainly for scuba initiation ) and need more cleaning.
