Located in Sanibel Island, this lovely condo for R 4,236 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Update following Hurricane Ian: We are so very happy to welcome you back to Loggerhead Cay. This condo have been completely rebuilt and everything is brand new and it is ready for rentals. Please note: OUTSIDE construction to the Loggerhead Cay complex and other condo units is still ongoing. On-site construction & work delays MAY be possible and are out of our control. Certain building amenities such as the elevators, tennis and more may not be functioning properly, timelines on some of these items is still unknown. There may also be noise associated with on-going construction. Working hours will typically be between 8am – 4pm during the weekdays. This beachside beauty boasts all the conveniences of home for your next island vacation! Unit #331 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground level, condo and is located just steps to the beach! The master bedroom offers a King bed, nice en-suite bathroom, and direct access out to the screened lanai. The guest room features 2 Twin beds with a separate bathroom, a gorgeous newly remodeled kitchen and comfortable living & dining room area. This condo comes equipped with a washer & dryer and a fully stocked kitchen for your added convenience. So pack your bags and get ready for the vacation of your dreams! Condo amenities include: 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms -- 1 King bed & 2 Twin bed (sleeps 4), 3 Smart TVs (Cable & streaming), WIFI available, fully equipped kitchen, heated community pool, in-suite washer & dryer, public BBQ gas grills, shuffleboard, community tennis courts, elevator access. Bed linens and Bath towels included. NO PETS Allowed. This unit comes stocked with beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella. 7 night minimum rental period is required. This unit is non-smoking with a maximum occupancy of 4 people. I thought the property was beautiful and rhe condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our week here!
My only issue was that on Friday morning of our stay, as I was taking our 2 dogs back inside the condo, through the back porch door, a women came up behind me ion a golf cart yelling at me. She proceeded in a nasty tone, that I was required to walk my dogs our front of the property. Yes, I had seen the signs; however, I tried and it's a parking lot with very little grass. I informed her that everyone else was walking their dogs that week outside their back porch areas. She then proceeded to tell me I was not allowed to have 2 dogs with me and if I ever got caught on the property again with 2 dogs I would have to leave. I informed her that when I made our reservation I sent a message expalaining I had 2 small chihuahuas weighing 5 and 7 pds each and was given permission to bring them to the unit. I still have the email confirming it. She didn't care and her whole attitude was extremely rude. We walked our dogs on a leash and cleaned up after them. They are very well behaved. Our smaller dog lost her right back leg from cancer this year. This is the first time we have rented from anyone because we own a timeshare (point system) and can travel anywhere, but we can't bring our dogs when using our time share. This was the main reason we rented from you.

Beautifully decorated first floor unit
Great place to stay. Loved the first floor unit. So easy to get all the beach stuff in and out. Second time at Loggerhead Cay. Nice location overall. Love Sanibel for family vacations.
Cleaners needed to pay more attention (lots of sand and dog hair in the corners when we arrived, nothing a little broom couldn’t handle but owners may want to ask for a little more attention to detail).

Property was nice. It was a little tired and could use an upgrade in the king mattress and living room furniture. The location was far from the pool and beach. Kitchen was equipped well.

Cheerful unit with location that I prefer on the island. Grounds were well maintained and the pool was perfect for a swimmer. People were friendly and love off season low occupancy. No .crowds. Would love to stay again.

Loving Loggerhead Cay at Sanibel Island
From the beach theme decor to having all the things you need away from home, this was a great stay!! The pool was warm and clean too. the bed was a dream as well , which is huge in my book! We will stay again. Oh and it was of course the best that it’s pet friendly!!!!

All of our feet got dirty just walking around with no shoes on. Dryer vent is stuffed with lint and needs cleaning out as this could cause a fire. Great Condo
This is a wonderful condo, beautifully clean and has everything you would need for a stay. Short walk to the lovely beach. Our 2 dachshunds stayed with us and loved every minute. The condo requests that dogs do not use the lanai exit to the grass and path to the beach, but we saw lots of leashed dogs walking that way.

Great stay
The condo was clean, as advertised, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The complex is quiet and well maintained. There were an abundance of beach chairs, umbrella, wagon and toys. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but the wagon helps a lot! Our only complaint is a lack of smart TVs, can’t watch your Netflix, but that’s very minor. Overall a great stay, would recommend!

Beautiful condo in a great location
The pics make it look bigger than it is (perfect for 2-4),BUT it is a darling little condo! Great decor and set up! Short walk to the beach and pool! The ONLY complaint I have is that none of the TVs worked; everything else worked . It would be nice to have blinds in the enclosed patio as the sun and heat was very intense during the morning hours! Loved having beach chairs and towels! Would highly recommend!

I am so glad we opted to stay on Sanibel instead of Ft. Myers. There were more people than we are used to on Sanibel due to it being spring break, but nowhere near as bad as Fort Myers was.

Great family vacation
Overall great. Very clean unit. Loved the property. I would definitely rent again. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because there was very limited space outdoors for our dog and the kitchen trash can was broken (which was noted on at least one prior review).

We were very satisfied with this condo. It was very clean & comfortable. We loved the sunny, beach decor! Having a recliner as well as the couches was a definite plus. Our primary reason for this rental was that it is dog friendly - an increasingly rare find on Sanibel! Price was comparable with other rentals in the high season.

We had a great time and enjoyed this pet friendly property very much. The only thing that prevents an overall 10 rating is that the bedding could be refreshed and the dishwasher and other appliances could be updated.

Great spot!
Our favorite unit at loggerhead cay so far!! What a beautiful place, equipped with everything you can think of!! Loved the kitchen layout, which we used often. We especially enjoyed the wagon and all the beach accoutrements. Everything was clean and tidy. Can't wait to return!!
