The location was fantastic being across the road from the dog beach. The owner was very helpful and understanding when I had to call about a mishap. I liked the fact that the property has two bathrooms, a laundry and lots of beds with linen and bath towels provided. Also having included small but significant consumable items like plastic cling wrap and aluminium foil, soap for washing hands at every basin, pegs for hanging clothes on the line, tea towels, bin liners for the kitchen bin, bath mats (and not just towels) and sufficient toilet paper were all unexpected but pleasant surprises. The beds were also comfy!

It may just make things abit nicer for users if the home is updated with maybe a skylight or two to brighten the place up, as the home is abit dark (with slate floors and exposed dark brick throughout), renovation of the bathrooms and kitchen and newer lounge furniture. All are functional but quite old and abit tired. The hot water in the ensuite shower seemed to ebb and flow between hot and warm even when it wasn't touched. It also seemed to us that that floors were not that clean - as we like to walk around with bare feet inside - but we just ended up wearing thongs inside.

Property is an older house. Some modernisation could help.
