Fantastic houses, very nice layout, beautifully furbished. The host is very active and puts in full energy to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderbar ruhig (am Ende einer Sackgasse) im Grünen und mit Blick auf das Meer. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber (bei einem Aufenthalt von 10 Tagen wurde eine komplette Zwischenreinigung durchgeführt). Zudem ist Jeroen ein wirklich netter und angenehmer Gastgeber mit prima Tipps rund um Madeira und man kann vom Standort aus mit dem Auto bestens die ganze Insel erkunden. Außerdem standen in der Unterkunft besondere Annehmlichkeiten zur Verfügung: kostenlose Sonnencreme, ausleihbare Yogamatten, eine Grundausstattung mit Lebensmitteln und Reingungsutensilien, extra Strandtücher, „hilfreiche“ Kleinigkeiten wie ein Regenschirm, eine Taschenlampe, eine Kofferwage und vieles Mehr. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Jeroen is a wonderful friendly host who took time to accommodate us and show us around at our arrivel. The communication prior to our stay was also top, and Jeroen aided us to book or excursions by giving valuable (insider) tips, for example about a Portuguesian Festival at the location that we wanted to visit anyway. The house is very high standard, all desirable equipment is in it including airco. The gardens are magnificently kept and the pool is beautiful and inviting. The location is exceptionally quiet, no traffic sounds or noises from other hotels or guests. There is a little minimarket in walking distance whit a great vibe of local live. I would absolutely go back to stay with Jeroen at a future visit. In the house we were welcomed by very tasty local products and could dig into books on local history, flora and fauna-great!

Blooming Botanic houses is a little oasis of calm, chilled relaxation. Jeroen is a fantastic host; he made us feel so welcome throughout our stay & his little touches of kindness and consideration toward ourselves and our two kids (5 & 2 YOA) were much appreciated. Very clean, well equipped, and charming, the house itself is a wonderful space and had everything we could possibly have needed for an enjoyable stay. The property is well situated to explore this part of Madeira with easy access to the nearby supermarket, beach, etc. in Calheta. It should be mentioned that the driveway for access is extremely steep and can be tricky to negotiate for an inexperienced driver, but you do get used to it quickly. Each house feels apart from its neighbours so if youre in search of a peaceful alternative to the bustle of Funchal or Câmara de Lobos - but still want to be within touching distance of both - BBH is a great choice. I cannot recommend this place more! It was absolutely beautiful. The small touches like welcome pack, children’s toys, yoga mat, books! The owner had thought of everything. It was immaculately clean, stylish, homely, peaceful. We will return.

What a beautiful stay! We spent 6 nights here during our time in Madeira. Jeroen, the owner, met us on check-in and showed us where to park. He had left us some lovely treats on check-in. There are 4 separate homes that all have their own private gardens, we absolutely loved having our own space to sunbathe and outdoor dining area. The apartment was super clean, plenty of towels, and the bed was SO comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the shower was perfect. There's a pool area that's accessible and handy on a hot day. There are very thoughtful touches such as yoga mats, which we made good use of too! The location is great, 5 minutes drive from Cahleta and 20 minutes from the 25 fontes hike. Jeroen also gave us a list of recommendations that were really helpful! The only very minor challenge was driving down to the apartment, it's quite steep and took a day or so to get used to it - but Madeira is very hilly and we soon did it with ease!
