The room was very clean and comfortable and the sound insulation was reasonable as the traffic noise was not disturbing. It is in a good location with good parking facilities with plenty of places to get an evening meal a short drive away. The bus stop with a service to Pen-Y-Pass was a bonus.
I asked about this before leaving so I don't want to sound overly critical and I appreciate the circumstances, but the breakfast was a little on the light side and it was disappointing the bar was sometimes not open in the evening. I would have hoped for a bit more from the breakfast when paying over £100/night, not necessarily a full cooked breakfast but porridge would have been a nice option to have. The staffing problem as the reason for the above was explained to me and it wasn't a deal-breaker.

Breakfast was perfectly fine. Nothing fancy, just a get you going offering. Real fire in the morning was a pleasant sight. A charming old building, dating back hundreds of years. Big thanks to Coup' for all his hard work.
No receptacle for metal i.e. Aluminium in the recycling area.

We loved our stay at Bryn Tyrch. The self-check-in was perfect for us, as we arrived very late. Coop was a fantastic host and a great asset to the hotel. Such a relaxed atmosphere and so much space to relax downstairs. Our room was luxuriously furnished and we appreciated the dog-friendly accommodation.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly
Given the lack of a restaurant, it can be difficult to find food. However, the staff was accommodating and allowed us to use the fridge and microwave.

Great location which some great walks locally but also a quick drive to many areas and attractive/popular hikes. Very relaxing and friendly staff, would highly recommend and go back myself!

Our host was excellent. Friendly and full of useful information for the area.
Bar not in service. But a bonus that you were able to use bar and lounge area and bring your own alcohol and take away food.

We've just returned from a 3 night stay at The Bryn Tyrch Inn, nothing to complain about at all.
Great location for the national park, which is why we visited with the dogs.
Great staff, very accommodating!
Lovely clean rooms, great spaces in the Inn to take food back and relax in the evening.
Lovely spread for breakfast put on every morning.
Highly recommend, and will definitely be back again.

The Breakfast was excellent - both continental and cooked - and was served very quickly from the kitchen.
The TV's in room were a little small and tv reception is poor in the area due to the mountains.

Clean rooms. Nice decor, perfect location
Dinner menu small not much to choose from. When ordering the meat platter there was no lamb so offered extra sausage, ended up having 6 sausages and a small belly pork and chips and paid £25. Breakfast they had run out of eggs.

It was amazing place to stay. Very cosy and nice. We had beautiful breakfast in the morning with mountains on the window view.
The rooms are located on the second floor above the kitchen and hoods work not good enough.

Location was fabulous. Rooms comfortable and pub, restaurant also really lovely.
There are really good walks around the Inn and a good walkers cafe just down the road. We loved our stay at the Inn, would recommend and will return next year.

The hotel had character, the rooms were spacious and cosy with excellent views. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great especially the breakfast. Would stay here again.

Constant loud noise during day from heavy traffic on A5. Couldn't open windows.
Refills of tea and milk not always available.
High prices for food and beer. No snacks available.
