About this condo rental
This contemporary hotel styled room is privately owned and managed by the owners. It has been renovated with a fresh modern style, funky furniture and plants. It is part of a larger apartment complex so is professional cleaned with fresh linen upon your arrive and depart. It has its own private keypad code entry, ensuite, TV, bar fridge, coffee/tea making facilities. Take note that the room is located on the back building of the complex (not a lake front building) with the main door entry fronting the busy Frankton Road. In summer especially when you might open the windows, you will hear the noise from the passing traffic. During the night it would be quieter so do take note if you're a light sleeper. The room itself has partial views to the lake front which is just meters away. The Frankton walking/biking track is a scenic must do and only 4kms to central Queenstown. Being right at the Frankton Marina, you can also hire water equipment such as boats, kayaks and paddle board subject to the seasons. A 5 minute stroll to the nearby popular Boatshed Cafe and Altitude Brewery are a must. Note the owners are not able to meet you upon arrival but are available by phone or online. The complex is located close to the Frankton Marina, Queenstown airport, Remarkables retail centre, Five Mile retail centre, Queenstown Central retail center and Remarkable ski fields.

We loved our stay by the Frankton Marina. Nice to be on the path and the water. Close to coffee and a brewery and walking distance or bus to either Frankton or Queenstown. Perfect little spot!

Located right on busy SH 6a. Multiple sets of outside stairs, no elevator. Is within walking distance along the lake towards Queenstown to the fabulous Boatshed Cafe, and in opposite direction along the lake under the airport take-off ramp for jets (quite a rush). Owner has access door, no deadbolt there or on main access, outside door code remains same, so serious security issues. No contact with owner, only email with rep. Comfortable king bed occupies about half the tiny living space. Toaster and kettle are the only appliances, no microwave or even a hot plate. The only sink is in bathroom. We would not return.

location was great and room was very clean and tidy on arrival. shower pressure was great. the property description did not state that there was no kitchen, no cooking facilities other than a shared BBQ which meant we had no way cook any food. there were plates and cups although no where to wash them other than the bathroom sink. there was no broom or vacuum for us to clean up our room at any point.

This property was exactly perfect for us. It was very nicely kept, had tea available in room, bed was comfortable, and it even had heated floors in the bathroom which was a luxury that I didn't know I wanted! The whole place was lovely. And location wise, it was great. It was a little outside of the downtown Queenstown area so it was a bit quieter, but it was a quick taxi/uber ride away or a bit of a longer (but pretty) walk. Communication with the host was fast, kind, and helpful. This was our favorite lodging that we had and I would highly, highly recommend.

Room was spacious and warm with great bathroom facilities also the option to do laundry downstairs was very handy. Just make sure you have coins to operate the machines. very enjoyable stay.

Nice little unit, as it mentioned in the property description the road noise is definitely there. Cutlery set was missing a fork, but we had our own so no drama.
Otherwise a pleasant stay, and we would stay there again.

The accommodation was great, clean, tidy, and modern - nice and close to the airport. The food recommendations nearby were fantastic! The road noise was louder than expected but not too bad at night.

Good room with easy access and parking. When the bed is pushed together as a “king” it doesn’t quite sit right and the pillows were hard. Overall good stay for the price and location

Includes a small refrigerator, coffer, tea and milk. It is part of a large complex with parking. Regarding laundry facilites, there are 2 washing machines and 2 driers for all of the units so you may not have an option to do laundry. You will need a car or can take the bus to town center. Too far to walk. As Marina noted, the unit is on the 2nd floor - 33 steps. You will need to walk up 16 steps and another 17 steps to get to the unit. A challenge if you have heavy luggage. Regarding the noise, we did not find it to be an issue in the evening. The noise subsided by 10pm. It did wake me up at 7am when the traffic was heavy and steady.Marina was outstanding in communicating prior to check in and was reachable during our stay if needed.

Room was ok but have stayed in much better places. Would have been good to have small table and chairs to sit at to eat, instead of 3 lounge chairs. The cupboard that holds toaster and crockery etc, difficult to open as there are no handles. Bit of a nuisance. Very hot room. Lots of road noise. Bathroom was nice. Beds were very comfortable. Close to everything we needed.

Hot, noisy, tiny room with only 2 extra sockets in the room
On a very busy road, if you open the windows to get air it is too noisy and if you close the windows it is too hot. Two fans are provided and no air con. Miserably hot to sleep or relax. The only place to plug in the electric kettle and toaster provided is next to the bed or in the bathroom. Housekeeping Is at an extra charge per clean no other place charges for this service. You never meet the host. Will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Asked host to move us to a cooler less noisy room and the request was denied.
