relaxed comfy property. great beachy feel let everyone chill and bond over the thanksgiving holiday.love the view from the top deck and being a couple rows back from the beach did offer a bit of a wind break. excellent property!

My family and I had a great time at the cottage. It was a warm and friendly environment. Even when the weather didn't fully cooperate with us, the amenities of the cottage entertained and delighted my kids.
It's within a stone's throw of the beach and my kids had a great time there. They didn't want to leave.

This place was absolutely amazing. The location was perfect and everything that Sugaree has to offer was great. The host was very helpful through the whole process and I will definitely be returning with my family. I Highly Recommend!

We absolutely loved this property. Such amazing views and just steps away from the sand. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather to enjoy the beach as much but that being said, there were games, a hot tub, and plenty of entertainment to get through the storm. Us mom and our teen daughters LOVED it! Tyler communicated so quickly and that made our stay even better.

We stayed here with our 5 year old, 3 year old and 19 month old as well as our senior parents and we all had enough room to spread out. The house was very very clean—which is huge! The toys and reading room upstairs was a big hit for our kids and also allowed a quiet space for them to go rest in the middle of the day. The beach gear that came with the house was great as well—more than enough chairs, beach toys, boogie boards. The walk to the beach was very short and the views from the crows nest were stunning. We loved our week here and how convenient it was to get around. Thank you !

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sugaree, even though we had multiple rainy days. The three levels of the house gave our group of seven plenty of space to spread out when we wanted. We especially appreciated
the crow's nest deck on sunny days. The sun porch was enjoyable as well. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. Tyler had kindly provided a very useful list of interesting things to do on the Outer Banks and Roanoke Island. We especially liked the Hatteras Light House and the NC Aquarium. Having the beach a five-minute walk away was, of course, the reason we were there and the high point of our visit. All three of our generations had an especially nice week!

My husband and I, our kids (18, 16, & 15), and a friend loved our week in South Nags Heads! We were thinking about our next stay at Sugaree before we had even left. The house had all that we needed and more and we loved the location. Tyler communicated well--we can't wait to visit again!!!

We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary at Sugaree! The house was so well maintained and it had everything we needed. It was just the two of us so we had more than enough room but the location was too good to pass up! We will definitely be back!

This was our first OBX trip and it was amazing! The beach house was perfect and equipped with everything needed. Tyler is a great communicator and makes sure you know exactly what to expect and bring with you. The house is perfectly centralized on OBX as well. An hour north is Corolla and the wild horses and an hour south is Hatteras. Our favorite was Roanoke Island in Manteo. Flying kites, beach walks, sunsets, hanging out in the hot tub in the evenings were exactly what we needed during April school vacation. Also, going this time of year, not many people! I highly recommend Sugaree for your OBX stay! It’s so welcoming, relaxing, and Tyler is so accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Sugaree is the perfect place for a beach getaway. A few minute stroll brings you to a beautiful white beach. If you tire of the beach, the hot tub is a perfect way to relax. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of restaurants and stores a few minutes away. Two thumbs up for Sugaree

We had an absolutely fantastic stay.
My husband and I and our two children (ages 2 and 4) absolutely loved this beach house. We really appreciated the loft upstairs, which was outfitted with lots of toys and games for the kids. We loved how the upstairs was still open-concept enough so that we could keep an eye on them while they played upstairs.
We also appreciated that the beach house came with beach chairs and beach toys. One day was too windy to be on the beach but no worries - my son played in the sandbox on the property for hours instead. These little things really make a big difference when travelling with little kids.
The kitchen was outfitted with all the essentials as described in the listing. The showers all had good water pressure, and the beds were comfortable and fitted with clean, soft linens.
Location was superb: a very short walk to the beach (handy when you need to run back to grab something you forgot!). The beach house was spotlessly clean. Communication with the host was terrific.
We hope to return next year!

This was our second time at Sugaree and we can't wait to get back! The home is exactly the spot needed to get away and recharge the batteries. The neighborhood is quiet. The breezeway to the beach is a few steps away. For the two of us, it was the romantic solitude we have come to love. Tyler is a fantastic host and does everything to make sure the guests have a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

Nags Head in the winter is about quiet and solitude. The ease and completeness of staying at Sugaree allowed us to fully enjoy being on the Outerbanks. The house is clean, airy and open, comfortable, and equipped. The owner was great to work with and very communicative.

Took my family for a quick getaway to the beach and had a blast at this oceanfront cottage. The home is beautiful, comfortable and a very short walk to the beach (<= 200 meters to the water). It's also just a few miles away from the Bodie Island Lighthouse.

This was my first experience with VRBO, definitely won't be my last. We visited for my husband's birthday, house was very well kept, clean and comfortable to be in. Tyler and his wife were very helpful with dining, etc... suggestions and very prompt in answering any questions. Definitely recommend!

This was our second time staying at Sugaree and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The house is clean and updated while still feeling warm and inviting. The location is perfect for beach days and exploring everything the outer banks has to offer. My 4 year old daughter especially loves the toys on the second floor. We can’t wait to come back next year!

The property is fabulous. A short walk to a beautiful beach and convenient to any shopping needed.
We had a sunset wedding and the host helped me find a photographer two days before. She was extremely helpful and always just a text away.

What a treat it was to be able to spend a week in this lovely home by the beach for a week with the family. Great location to the beach, sites, restaurants, stores and activities while also feeling like you were getting away. The house was clean and well supplied for the home and beach. We enjoyed views of the sunrise and sunsets from the crows nest every day. The location to the beach makes it easy to run back if you forgot something, or just want a quick stroll along the water's edge.

My wife, my parents, our two small children, and myself really enjoyed our stay at Sugaree! It is literally a few houses from the beach and has close proximity to shops and restaurants. It was also a short drive to the aquarium that the kids loved. The house was very clean and came with all the bed linens which was a big plus for us. We did have an issue with the air conditioning which Tyler was quick to get the property manager on and was resolved quickly. The crows nest has an amazing view out over the ocean which made for some beautiful mornings and evenings. We would definitely stay at Sugaree in the future!

The perfect first family vacation
We LOVED our stay at Sugaree. The house was better than pictured and so impeccably clean. We loved the location being close enough to all the things but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful beach. My personal highlights were the outdoor shower, the hot tub, and the screened porch! My toddler felt so at home here and having the toys and games there for him was such a huge help! Tyler was a text away and was both helpful and appreciative that we were there which was so nice. Definitely recommend this spot for some great family memories at the beach!

Best Beach Vacation Ever
Words cannot describe this beach vacation. Hands down the best my Family and I've ever been on. The house was beyond amazing. Very very clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well as some awesome food i fixed on the grill. We spent some time on the upper deck looking out at the ocean absolutely beautiful views. We also spent some time just hanging around the house relaxing. As well as some time out on the beach watching the Dolphins jump and play. We visited the nearby light house's and went on the Wild Horse Adventure, witch was awesome. As well as some fine dining and shopping. This is our first time to Nags Head and it's been the best beach vacation ever. We will definitely be back and will be staying at this house. Absolutely loved it. Tyler has been awesome making sure we were welcomed. Very prompt with responding to questions we had. Tyler, Thank you so much for making this Beach Vacation the best ever.

And the open connection with the kitchen meant we were all gathered together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and even a Keurig for my coffee lovers. And when traveling I always worry about cleanliness. It was so clean. My younger teenage daughter loved the upstairs area and my older daughters loved hanging out in the sunroom with the lights. We enjoyed the closeness the the beach so we could go back and forth and that it was well equipped with beach chairs(one less thing to pack). I also appreciated the attentive owners who respond so quickly, great service is truly a gem these days. We watched fireworks from the roof, played games from the house collection, and did a little work using the quick wi-fi. We enjoyed our rare time with just our little family and had an amazing time. I don’t know how to better sum this place up than perfect. Right there at the beach, great views, impeccably clean, fantastic and attentive owners! Sugaree is an annual ritual now for us. Book here, just not our week ;)
