This has to be up there with one of the best holidays we have ever had, not only because of the beauty of Cassis but because of the magical and serene space that is Patrice’s house. It is an inspiring place to be with so many perfect spots to sit and enjoy the ambience. Practically, it is well equipped and well positioned with stunning views, a perfect pool and gardens. There are thorough instructions and insightful information on the area and activities, is provided. Patrice was a hospitable and accommodating host (who also happens to have an amazing collection of books). We will most definitely stay again. Thank you Patrice for letting us stay in your wonderful home.

Lovely villa & pool, very spacious and with very good kitchen equipment. Bedrooms comfortable and spacious. Nice lounge & outside terrace with blind. Short journey to Cassis where beaches & town were great.

Firstly the house is really lovely and the photos don't really do it justice. The living area is spacious and light, the garden is charming, the main bedroom and en-suite is stunning. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures and was a lovely temperature, warmed by the hot sun. Eating on the covered decking area at breakfast and dinner was really a joy. We used the barbecue a couple of times and that's great too. We were so comfortable in the house we stayed in much more than we had intended and had lazy days by the pool. It really was delightful. Patrice was very helpful and accommodating and there is a lot of information about the local area in folders kept in the house. If I had to find something which I didn't like it would be the mosquitoes. They are a real nuisance! It's also very expensive in Cassis. Having stayed frequently in the Italian lakes we weren't prepared for some of the prices. Extraordinarily high for often really average quality. All in all, this house was one of the highlights of our holiday. If you are prepared for the prices you really couldn't do better than staying in this superb residence.
