Backs up to Makai golf course, with a short hike to nearby Sea Lodge beach and Wylee's beach. Fully stocked kitchen, all new pots and pans, silver wear, cutting knives, toaster, cooking oil & salt/pepper ~ Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, snorkel, ice chest, boogie board, board games for the kids, all included. Updated appliances and furniture ~ The Kamahana's is a 30 unit, 50% owner occupied sub-division located on the north side of Kauai, in Princeville. Princeville is one of the most exclusive areas in ALL of Hawaii, and an extremely sought out vacation destination. Just 3 miles from the nearby quaint town of Hanalei, you will fall in love with the shopping and the authentic island eats! When comparing condos, one should research DENSITY (some have hundreds of units, plus A & B side "lock-outs".. And (if possible) also research OWNER OCCUPANCY rates. There IS a difference in these two very important factors, and location really is everything! The Kamahana's are an "off the main road" sub-division, and is well known by people in the know (islanders). See the areal photos of 3800 Kamehameha Rd. Wonderful condo with everything we needed for a 2-week stay. Very comfortable for my husband and me. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient to Princeville Market and Hanalei.

Very nice condo. Clean and spacious for our family of three visiting Kauai. Very well located in a relaxing and quiet neighbourhood. Close to all that the North shore has to offer. Loved Tunnels Beach, Hanalei and Ke’e. Driving to other parts of island was easy. Condo has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

It ended up raining for most of the week while we were here, so we didn’t take advantage of the pool or golf course. I think during the warmer months, it might be too warm for us in the living area. The rooms have AC though, which was great! Most places in HI don’t have AC throughout, so it’s normal. This location was quiet and peaceful and safe. We loved hearing the wind through the trees scattered throughout the property. The place was clean. Ants are a real thing in Hi, so plan on keeping your food in the fridge or micro. There were plenty of dishes here, and the washing machine was a lifesaver. The host was very communicative and nice. Would recommend staying here again! You are about a 30 minute drive into Kapa’a, but only 10 minutes from Hanalei if you want something more village-feel. At the entrance of this property is a grocery mart and gas station and a restaurant, so you can get what you need easily.

The location of this condo was great, especially if you spend most of your time on the north shore. There was plenty of room in the condo, very spacious master bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with coffee maker, rice cooker, plenty of pans and everything we needed. Great communication with the owners. We will be staying here again on our next visit🌈🌴

My adult daughters and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo in Princeville. It was very much as described in the listing and for me the added bonus was they had a hot water pot! The kitchen is extremely well supplied, and having a full-sized washer & dryer was very helpful with all the hiking that we did. The bedrooms were on opposite ends of the unit, so private, and each had it's own AC unit, which worked well to keep the rooms cool provided you kept the door closed. The main living area did get a bit warm at times, but often would cool off with the breezes in the evening. The property is very well maintained and there are flowering shrubs everywhere (and wild chickens). We were treated to the sight of a Laysan albatross nest with parents & juvenile that decided to live on the property right next to the walkway. The Princeville is convenient to Hanalei and the Na Pali Coast trail, but is a bit of a haul to Waimea canyon.

We thoroughly enjoyed at stay. Coffee on the terrace in the mornings, listening to the birds, were a highlight. We also loved seeing the baby albatross. We visited the pool every day and enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. We were very comfortable in this condo.

Property was perfect for my trip. I specifically wanted a place with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The layout was great as each room was on opposite sides. Property was clean and not too far from a grocery store and several restaurants. Would recommend if you want to stay on the north side of the island.

Overall great experience! We love your condo and the location is great! Not enough TP provided for a 2 weeks stay for 4 people. Also there was a note for guests to start a load of towels when they leave but no Kai dry detergent provided. Love the new pillows!! We would definitely rent again in the future!

A great location with a simple layout that gives plenty of space for friends, two couples, or a small family. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms nice and large and the living area functional! We did keep windows open for breezes at night to assist in keeping it cool - had to use the AC twice to kick start a cooldown but even in the hot heat of August, we were more than comfortable without AC. Laundry is always a plus in Kauai! And Wohoo for my 4th Mango Festival!!!

This unit was great for us. The unit had a good breeze to keep it comfortable during the day and night, and both bed rooms had AC units for additional comfort at night. Easy location to get to, easy check in, met some neighbors at the pool who were great, and the washer and dryer were fantastic to keep our wardrobe needs down on this trip. Owners were great to work with and we’re looking forward to returning in the future.

Great value. There’s no central AC so it can get hot during the daytime in the common areas (esp b/c we’re on second floor), so best to have activities planned to keep you out during the day…

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! It was the perfect size for us and we loved the Princeville area. Just keep in mind that even with the portable AC provided, the rooms can get a little hot (which is expected in Hawaii)- still 5 stars from us though!

My husband and I stayed here for the second week of our Honeymoon which provided a perfect base for us to explore the North side of the island. We had a rental car and never struggled to park. Nothing was too long a drive away. It's a 3 min drive from the Princeville centre which has a great supermarket and a selection of shops and restaurants. The condos were quiet and set in lovely gardens. The lounge had a lovely view of the mountains. The place itself was clean, spacious, modern (which is a struggle to find on the island), and really well equipped. Bed in the master bedroom was also super comfy (I'm sure the bed in the second bedroom is as well but we didn't use it). The condo can get quite warm over the course of the day when you come back after a full day out but soon cools down once you open the balcony doors and windows and get the breeze through. There were portable AC units in the bedrooms. We used the one in the master bedroom occasionally to keep us comfortable overnight. Hosts were responsive when we had questions. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This was a great condo in a great location on the north shore for our Kauai vacation. The place was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The AC units in the bedrooms was a huge plus. Access and parking were both very convenient. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Princeville.

The condo in princeville was perfect for us as a family to explore the North Coast of Kauai. It has all the appliances and touches that you would want around your own home. We could not have been more comfortable. There's even Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards. They seriously thought of everything. It was so comforting to be able to come home and cook a meal in with our family after exploring all day. Mahalo!

We really enjoy staying in princeville. This location was very easy to get to. Just a heads up though you don't park directly infront of your place. We had to park and then walk to our apartment. We had a handicapp parking placard but the two slots were continuously in use for this section. You are very close to princeville shopping center and North shore!

This condo was in a good location for venturing the north side of Kauai and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We didnt cook anything and we spent most of our days out and about but it was a perfect home base. Was grateful for the laundry and airconditioning- there are 2 portable ac's - one in each bedroom. Many condos in Kauai do not even have AC and most or all do not have central air. Host was quick to reply to questions and was very friendly. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Princeville condo. It was a perfect fit for our family of three. The condo is clean, quiet, and in a great location. My son was able to have his own room and bathroom and we had a great amount of space for everyone. This home provided us the perfect homebase from which to explore the island. A bit small and low on amenities

The good - the listing was accurate but the A/C is actually 2 portable units that cannot leave the bedrooms so the living room and kitchen were quite hot our entire stay. Comfy beds and beautiful vaulted ceilings. The bad - The oversized furniture makes it really difficult to move around freely and is stuffy. There aren’t enough utensils, plates, and kitchenware for 4 guests. We had to hand wash a lot because by the end of each day there just wasn’t enough to eat with. No shampoo and conditioner in the master bedroom which is a huge no-no for me.

overall stay was excellent, beautiful area, good walking paths however not walkable to restaurants, bars etc. Very well kept grounds. Condo was clean, very adequate, comfortable beds well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. Only complaint living room furniture needs replaced and huge coffee table and dining table made small living area very crowded. Would stay again.
