Nelson Bay Stay
William was a timely communicator. When we needed to postpone our trip twice due to illness he was very accommodating. The property would have been nice however the floors looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned and there was a unpleasant smell coming from laundry - I believe these would be easy fixes.
The location in terms of proximity to beach and shops was pretty good and walkable however we stayed in the master room and there was quite a lot of light coming in as we were on a main road and the noise could be bad at points.

Accommodation is walking distance to Nelson Bay Beach, Little Beach & Fly Point. Great location for exploring local area and beyond. Nearby pool is also handy for kids. Would be good if garage has remote control.

Good setup and plenty of room good location. remote.
Found garage door very heavy and low clearance and my Ute isn't that high. Roller door and remote would be better. Inside roomy and suitable for a family.

We spend Christmas at the property and had a great time. Great location, very clean and comfortable property! Will be coming back for sure.

Overall the accommodation was great for a family week away and would definitely stay again! One of the cleanest and well set up places we've stayed at in the last 11 years of consistently holidaying in the area.
Kitchen was a good size and adequately equipped, bedding was comfortable, internet access kept the kids entertained, the downstairs/upstairs aircon was heaven on the >30C days with ceiling fans alone enough for a comfortable nights sleep and the communal pool was very convenient if you don't want to stay at the beach all day. The location is quite central to access Shoal Bay, Nelson Bay Marina or Salamander Bay shops and lastly, the owner was very communicative.
Constructive feedback, there is no street space to park behind the property and no access to the back garage from Hardy St (this wasn't a surprise as I checked google maps before I arrived) but since you cannot park on the rear driveway to simply stop to drop off groceries or unload & drive off (doing so would block your neighbour), it would be so much more convenient to have an automatic garage door. The manual door is quite cumbersome and my Wife was not able to open it herself. To us it was a minor inconvenience but something that should be transparent to avoid disappointment. Again overall a great place to stay and we'd definitely stay again.

Well Placed Positioned Town House!
Well functional town House with ALL of the goods for the family with children! Small backyard with BBQ, sitting outside under the Patio, big kitchen, laundry and 3 bedrooms upstairs with aircon..bit noisy with passing traffic but 250-300 met walk to the RSL Club about 600 meters walk to Little Beach and Little Boathouse Restaurant ...and a 20-30 min walk into Salamendar Bay Prescient. All good...TV abit small and I do think it needs "an annual Pestrid" going over but I'd stay there again if wanting!

On a positive note, communication with the owner was prompt and the beds were comfortable. The house is also close to the centre of town. However, the property is on a noisy main road (not ideal for children who nap during the day), and we found the house to be very dark and gloomy, even on a sunny day. The floor upstairs creaked, waking up house guests and we found a lot of dust and rubbish under the couch and on light fittings and fans. Also, you cannot access the property via the most logical and direct entry point and must drive around the block to access the garage, which is very inconvenient. Overall, we believe the property was oversold in the advertisement and we were not overly satisfied with our stay.

Home away from home!
My husband, 8 month old son and I stayed here on our first family holiday and I am already planning our next stay! The property manager was always happy to answer queries and assist however he could. The property had everything a young family could need, really the only difficulty was bringing our luggage down the back stairs at night so I would just aim to arrive in daylight in the future. The properties location was great, we walked down to the main street every morning for breakfast and across the road to the markets on the weekend! We will most certainly be back!

Cosy and good location
Nice house and ideally located. Lacked a dryer which we gather is a standard these days and it affected us as we had an infant with us.
Good communication with the owner and he dealt with an issue we raised with him effectively.

Wonderful holiday location and accomodation
My family have holidayed at Serenity 3 years in a row now and would happily return again. Great accomodation, excellent proximity to everything Nelson Bay has to offer, and well managed.

We had a fantastic stay!! The property is in a great location for walks in to town and to the beaches. The house itself is lovely, it has a really well stocked pantry/fridge with all the basics you need. Communication with the owner was excellent and replies to my queries were prompt. We will be back again, thank you.

I was most surprised to not find a tumble dryer available , especially to dry towels. In wet weather this creates a big problem

Relaxing holiday
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely time away together at serenity.

Excellent property with a COMPLETE holiday house
We all enjoyed our stay at Serenity at Nelson Bay. It is a very nice and comfortable house with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, spacious living and dinning area. Beds are comfortable with air-con, made a sweet dream on your holiday.
The owners are very generous to provide a COMPLETE kitchen with all necessities even little things like sugar, salt and oil. We did not need to worry all these especially you do not need to buy small quantity just for the holiday. Beach towels are included, it helps me to pack less for holiday. Kids enjoyed the board games, DVD and even bikes. Location is very close to town centre. My husband enjoyed the morning walk to buy coffee. I give them a LIKE.

Very well appointed unit.
We had a fantastic week at Nelson Bay which was highlighted by the very well appointed unit at Serenity. The unit had a very homely and comfortable feel about it and so close to shops and beach/waterfront and great walking tracks around the seashore. Superb.

Family friendly- pool a huge hit
Really enjoyed our stay at Serenity, nice spacious place for 4 adults and two children aged 4 and 18 month. Fantastic location due to proximity to the marina and little beach. Little noisy at night being that close to the main road and neighbours dogs meant the garden areas always smelt like dog pooh.
The diggers RSL which was opposite was brilliant for children and delicious food and the local pool was great .

Excellent!!
We throughly Enjoyed Staying At Serenity Nelsons Bay. House was clean and bed sheets. Pool wasn't far at all and the carnival was like 3 minutes walk and the oval was in front and not far from Nelsons Bay Little Beach. Booking Serenity was very easy and thanks from the help from William and Sharon.
