The listing was all that and more!! The home was PERFECT, the view was PERFECT, even the weather was PERFECT!! Trip up the mountain was a tiny bit sketchy, we we got through it just fine! We will DEF be back!!

This was an amazing get away. It was a good friends birthday so we surprised her with a weekend get away. It was amazing. I live locally however it was a good way to meet a little closer to her and have an actual get away. Will most definitely not hesitate to book this location again if the need arises.

This was my mom(64) and son(7) first time going to the mountains and they are both hooked now! The cabin was amazing with beautiful views which makes up for the driveway. Will definitely be returning.

The cabin was magnificent. Everything was there that you might need except a hairdryer. The road is a little difficult. You really should have a four-wheel-drive. It’s worth the drive I would rent it again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely secluded cabin with a great view. The cabin was nicely kept and had all we needed for our stay.Definitely recommend a vehicle with high ground clearance and 4WD/AWD especially for the last few hundred feet of the drive up to it.

My only complaint is, even though the cabin was pet friendly, it had a rug in the middle of the floor that we had to roll up due to the urine smell. Other than that, this place was perfect for us. Very spacious. Also, do not bring a low profile vehicle to this cabin, you have to cross a creek that could possibly catch your vehicle. This place is honestly perfect

Nice, quiet getaway Mountain Cabin. The property was clean and well-maintained, with the exception of one of the couches. It needs to be replaced or refurbished. The customer service was great. I would definitely like to visit again; however strongly urge owners to replace several pieces of furniture.

Cabin was very nice as pictured and secluded. Surrounded by nature. Yellow Rose was excellent in responding when we discovered the Satellite TV wasn't hooked up. The maintenance man was extremely professional, friendly and dedicated. He had to come back up the mountain a few times with the necessary equipment to fix it. Billy from Yellow Rose called to check on us after a severe storm went through the area. We stayed at another cabin managed by another company previously and will never stay with anyone but Yellow Rose again! Will definitely book this cabin again. Would recommend arriving in a truck or SUV, as the drive up is bumpy and steep at times, as well as having to go across a creek to get to the cabin. We were in a truck and had no issues.

Such a beautiful location! Other reviews complained about windows not clean, floor needs done, pests, dirty furniture, needed new cooking ware, & needing an SUV to get to property. So, i was prepared. I brought blankets to put over furniture, ate out, saw no pests, ignored the dirty windows & floors, & focused on the beautiful landscape. I can say it was probably best that I had an SUV but we did get my Honda civic up & down once, & used my sons SUV to go out on adventures. I would recommend this place to others, for sure. I was not disappointed, especially with our view!

We absolutely loved this property. It was the perfect feeling of secluded while still being within 30 minutes of all our activities. I was definitely nervous about the drive way after reading the reviews but it was nothing to be nervous about. I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2WD and had no problems even though it rained the majority of the trip. Would not recommend a driving a car that is low to the ground but there wasn’t much to it, just one or two rocks after the light stream. We will definitely be coming back to this property.

The view was beautiful however the furniture was dirty, smelled, wore out & needs to be replaced. The floors need to be refinished also. The hot tub was very nice tho. The pictures made the place look a lot better than it really was. I would recommend this place after updates are made but not unless they are.

What more could we have asked for...The views, the cabin, hot tube and fire place all met out expectations and then some. We came in for Polar Express in Bryson City. A short drive down the Mountain in to town. The drive up to the cabin was a challenge...we drove our Tahoe ...would not recommend drive a car to the cabin. You have to drive through a small creek on the way to the cabin.
Over all...We LOVED it and will be back again soon!

Family of 7 enjoyed a peaceful Thanksgiving on top of the mountainGreat location, beautiful views and for the most part, house was in great condition and supplied well. A few drawbacks: house is at the TOP of the mountain, but we had a truck and navigated well w/o 4 wheel drive. House shows some age with outdated furniture and a very warped dining room table, refrigerator leaked, had a mouse visit each night, and TV in master bedroom is ancient!!!!

We stayed at Mountain Time for 3 nights. In fairness to my comments, it rained off and on all the time we were there.First, the home is beautiful and has a wonderful view of the mountain. There is no one further up the hill and no neighbors within sightline.There are several comments about the need for a 4WD vehicle to get to it. We drove a front wheel drive Toyota RAV4 and made it to the house but on the loose wet gravel it was not a sure thing. If you plan to go up and down during your stay, best to drive a 4WD vehicle.The house needs a good deep cleaning and they need to more rat control (mostly outside on the deck). We rented 5 houses on this 4 week trip. Mountain Time was the least clean of them. We never did figure out how to get the bedroom TV to work but that wasn't a big deal.We would stay at Mountain Time again, but drive something different.

First I would like to say the reviews absolutely terrified me. I was so scared I couldn't make it up the mountain and thought it was going to be scary. That is not the case at all. It was not tough for me to get to and wasn't scary at all. I drive a Chevy equinox and had no issues. The small stream is no big deal either. The property itself was nice but could use a few upgrades. The hot tub is not on the deck but was still easy to get to and see from the deck. The furniture is awful. Really needs an upgrade. There were fleas that bit us also. The jacuzzi tub didn't work at all as the button is broken. We didn't hear or see any rats/mice. The liquor bottle collection was a little odd. Deck could really use a good pressure wash and deck chairs are broken. The crt tv in the bedroom could use an upgrade. Outdoor grill was unusable. Fireplace was also not usable and looked as if someone at one time had started a big fire in it. The ladies at the office were very friendly and helpful. They weren't hard to get on the phone at all when I called. We would stay here again but would prefer to wait until the upgrades are done.

The name of the cabin is Mountain Time and it's fitting. You are in the mountains, up a dirt road, across a running Brook, (no guard rails on the entire dirt road) through someone's farm and the last 8 yards of road to the driveway are steep and loose gravel. DO NOT ATTEMPT IN A CAR. You need an SUV with FWD at minimum. The views are ok, never really get to see the sunset, house faces southeast. All though the house is structurally sound it is filthy. Inside windows are full of spider webs in the loft. The loft bath has an electrical issue if the lower bath lights are on. The LR furniture is disgusting. We covered with blankets to sit. Found burnt dirty pots in the cupboard and greasy Tupperware under the sink. A bat lives under the outdoor eaves of the front porch so bat dung is always on the outside step of the French doors. Need to sweep everyday or it tracks inside on your shoes. The deck is covered in black mold and the outside windows are so dirty you can hardly see through them. The outdoor furniture is dirty, we covered those with towels. Could not open windows as between the window and screens they were full of spiders and dead bugs. Throw rugs are dirty as well. Needs a good cleaning inside and out and a paint job wouldn't hurt. Forget the fireplace, there no flue and the black smoke comes into the room. The hot tin is not on the house deck. It sits below the house on its own deck. We did not even try to use. For pit had huge trees in it so we didn't use that either. We lived the area, lots to see and do, but never returning to Mountain Time!

Beautiful view and the property management team was great. However, there were fleas and mice in the cabin. The outdoor furniture was so worn down you couldn't sit in it and the couch was incredibly uncomfortable. We are easy going so this was pretty disappointing. It's a lovely location with great potential, hopefully the home owners can remedy. Thankful the property managers found something else pretty close by and we still had a great trip.

The property was beautiful-views were incredible. However I would not advise staying here with out a four wheel drive vehicle. Our first night we got stuck several times trying to reach the cabin. You have to go through a small creek and up a steep incline with a direct right turn to make it into the property. Beds are not super comfortable. The coffee maker is a keruig so bring pods if you are a coffee drinker. We could not get the jets to work in the tub. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

breath taking sunsets
We had a wonderful stay. The kids and dogs had a blast. The cabin was perfect with all the amenities we needed. The sunsets were some of the prettiest we have ever seen. The drive in was not as bad as some reviews mentioned but we do have 4 wheel drive (although we only used it 2 times). We would definitely stay again!

We had such a great time in this beautiful cabin! It was clean and well stocked; we would definitely stay again. The location is pretty secluded and the view is beautiful just as pictured! I would not recommend a low riding vehicle, nor a 4 cylinder as my car bottomed out in a few spots on rocks and uneven road. Also the last stretch of driveway is steep and gravel so you need a “running start” to make it up in cars like mine! Great for the adventurous spirit! We enjoyed the hot tub very much! The jacuzzi tub was not working unfortunately. Overall this was a great cabin!

The living room furniture is old and worn. The refrigerator/freezer handles need to be tightened as does the entry door handle. The stovetop and oven were old and dirty. The road is rough and definitely needs a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The turn into the home has a huge rut. Our last night I think there were mice or rats running inside the wall in the loft. I trusted Virbo to have a better rental.
