Situated in Plymouth, this charming house for R 15,969 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This historic 1840’s house has undergone a COMPLETE gut renovation and combines modern amenities with streamlined country tradition. The perfect getaway for city slickers who want to have comfort within their country retreat. This 4700 square foot lofty beauty sleeps 19 in 6 separate bedrooms and a sleep loft. The breakdown of beds is listed below. All beds are on the floor (non-bunk beds). BR # 1: 2 single beds 2: 2 single beds 3: full size bed and one single bed 4: full size bed 5: full size bed and one single bed 6: king size bed and one single bed Sleeping Loft: 8 single beds and 1 full sized bed Second floor living room with flat screen HDTV, cable and WiFi, DVD/sound system and electric fireplace. ADDITIONAL loft living room with cable TV, DVD, stereo and pull out love seat and many board games. There is a whole-house sound system for your smart phone. Large bathroom on 2nd floor has a steamer shower which holds 5-6; 5 ½ total bathrooms with all showers custom made and tiled and accented with plush white large Egyptian towels. Seating and table settings for all in the dining room. We have work with several talented private chefs who are available if desired for a special meal, or even all of your meals during your stay. We serve farm-to-table seasonal fare that showcases Vermont's glorious food scene. Please let us know if you are interested in a catering quote. The chef's kitchen features stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, 6 burner range, stackable convection oven, granite counter tops, microwave, 2 refrigerators, small freezer, ice maker, instant hot water machine and a highly filtered water system, as well as in-house washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped to make cooking for a large group a breeze. There is a separate yoga room, with yoga mats and props (blankets, blocks, et al.) for up to 28 people. Could also be used as a rehearsal space, or for conferences, etc. Tastefully furnished and decorated with antiques, plants and simple, soothing palates. A no-doily rental ;-) Pets are okay with pet cleaning fee. All beds, linens, towels are BRAND NEW. 15 minutes to Okemo, 10 to Killington Skyeship Gondola. Recent improvements include complete weatherization and conversion to solar power for electricity. Good Commons is now a property that only relies upon fossil fuels for 10% of all electrical, heating and cooling needs. Central air has been added to the sleeping areas, and a new hot tub was installed in the spring of 2016. More pictures available upon request. Our stay at Good Commons was everything we could have wanted and more. The space was honestly even better than the pictures and more than enough space for our group of friends. Perfect location to get to Killington to ski. Hopefully we will be back next year!

A group of 18 of us used Good Commons for a ski weekend. Short drive to the mountain and so much space for a large group! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and yoga studio is perfect for holding ski gear. Couldn’t have asked for a better place, we’ll be back next year!

Every year our large family gets together for a week long ski trip and this was by far our BEST one yet! This house is literally perfect. Packed with amenities, super clean, spacious and great location!
Super close to Killington, Okemo and lovely Ludlow and Woodstock, VT. We had so much to do and the house couldn’t have been better. Communication with Mary and the owner was great. I’d give them 100 stars if I could. Thanks for an amazing stay!! Hope to be back next year!

This house was phenomenal to stay at for me and my 17 friends. Right between Killington and Okemo, plenty of parking, easy check in and spacious house with great amenities. Would love to stay again!

We came to Good Commons with a group of 5 families. Kids ranged from 8 weeks to 11 years with the majority being 4-6 years old. There was plenty of space for everyone and we loved giving the kids their own space. Kids loved the sleeping loft and yoga studio to blow off steam. Kitchen had absolutely everything you could possibly need. Location to Killington was fantastic. Note the kitchen and living room are on different floors. Would have preferred them nearby but not a big deal. Both owner and property manager were super friendly, professional and responsive. We’ll be back!

We had a great time getting together as a family in this house. There was plenty of room to spread out, and the kitchen had plenty of space for all of our food (an essential for family fun!)

Amazing experience
Had an amazing time at Good Commons. A perfect space for friends and family to gather. Plenty of bedroom space and bathrooms. Massive kitchen. Excellent deck and hot tub. Very close to both Okemo and Killington- we had a perfect time.

Had a great group of friends meet up for a long needed trip. The house was amazing. Great place to gather in the yoga room, hot tub relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Would absolutely recommend this place to any large group looking to ski killington or okemo.

Perfect Ski House
My friends and I came here for a ski trip and it was exactly what we we’re looking for. We had a big group but the house fit us with ease. There are several rooms and the house is built like a maze when you first arrive. You can tell that the hosts really want you to have a great experience due to their attention to detail. There were towels on all the beds, pitchers of water in every bedroom, etc. Fantastic house and I would certainly recommend it to anyone traveling with a large group.

Great place to stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Good Commons - the kids loved the loft area (they called it the 'orphanage') and the kitchen and dining area was really great.
The owner was very responsive and when we had to text her for few questions, we got responses immediately.
One thing to be aware is that the area has no cell service; we had to rely on wifi calling feature to make/receive calls, which worked out great.

We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. When we weren’t out exploring, we spent every minute outside enjoying the fire pit, deck and hot tub. This place is a must for large gatherings of friends of family. I can only imagine how nice it must be in the winter using the dining room and living room. And the yoga studio was such an awesome bonus! We made memories of a lifetime!

Friends gather!

We’ve taken some nice vacations, but this was amazing. It was so hard to leave. We loved the host, the food, the house, the area...I’m already looking for a way to go back. The house is old, authentic, clean, and warm. It has a backstory. Our (huge) family fit with ease (this never happens.) In the midst of COVID, where I’ve worked 60+ hours per week for months on end, this was exactly the respite I needed. Thank you Mary and Tesha, for refueling me and my whole family! We love you both!

Excellent trip to Good Commons
We absolutely loved our stay at Good Commons and would recommend this place to anyone with a large group looking to go to Killington! The house had more than enough space for our large group and also provided any amenities you could ask for: large fridge/freezer space, yoga studio for storage/activities, hot tub, and plenty of beds for a large group or family. We also took advantage of the catered brunch offered by Good Commons and can’t recommend that enough! All in all we would love to come back here and would recommend this place to anyone looking to travel up to Killington with a large group!

Overall the property was exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for gathering after a day on the slopes. The yoga room was perfect for the kids to play when they weren't outside in the snow.

Multi-family ski vacation
We stayed here with our family and three other families (17 kids and adults). Plenty of room for all and the kids LOVED the sleeping loft. Hot tub was an excellent addition to apres-ski activities for kids and adults alike. The living room was spacious and warm with a mini fridge for beverages. Great for game nights. The yoga studio (mats and blocks provided!) would have been a nice place to continue our active pursuits, but with so much skiing we were too tired! It was a little chilly downstairs when the temperatures dipped, but nothing unmanageable (living room is upstairs). The proximity to both Okemo and Killington (and Long Trail Brewing company 😉�) is unmatched. Both the property manager and owner were pleasant, professional, and informative. Overall great experience and would recommend, especially to large groups.

Kid Friendly and Fun
Upon entering the place was very clean which was wonderful. Throughout the house there were added touches like the bathroom soap and spray, water carafes, and coffee/tea station, that made the place welcoming and feel like home. Lastly, it was kid-friendly and the yoga room was a great place to store ski stuff and act as a kid playroom.
The only thing we thought it was missing, was a comfy place to sit downstairs so after the kids went to bed we could hang out without waking them. Overall a beautiful place.

Perfect house for friend ski weekend
We loved our stay at Good Commons!! The house easily accommodated our group (8 adults, 9 kids ranging from 7 to 18). The house was exactly as described. The kitchen was amazing for cooking ski breakfasts and large dinners - we could not have asked for a better set up. Everyone in the group had a great time and would return again next year. The house was convenient to both Killington and Pico mountains. Mary and Tesha were extremely responsive when there were small glitches before and during the weekend. They responded quickly and helped us solve the issue. We had an amazing long weekend with friends, which was in large part due to this amazing house!

We are large group of people and this house is 20 min to killington. Kids friendly with loft 9 beds! We had trouble with heating system and they quickly fixed it.

I brought a sales team on a retreat and was so pleasantly surprised with how beautiful this house was. The hot tub, yoga studio, and steam room/shower were amazing after a day of skiing on Killington mountain.

Wonderful place to stay!!
We had a family vacation of 15 people and Good Commons was the perfect house. It was very spacious and had everything we needed...Large kitchen and plenty of beds, linens and bathrooms. The owner was quick to respond to us when there was an issue. There was a huge snowstorm and our parking area was quickly plowed. The temp dropped to below 0 degrees and the house did not feel cold at all. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
