Just a quick stroll in any direction will take you to nearby shopping, popular restaurants, and world famous beaches. Take advantage of the world class snorkeling, learn to surf, or enjoy the wide variety of premier golf courses the island has to offer. If you’re feeling like relaxing at the resort for the day, head up to the large heated pool and spa to sunbathe at the pool pavilion. There are also several shared gas grills available to cook your favorite meals. ** Important Notice: The Maui Coast Hotel, a development adjacent to the Pacific Shores is undergoing a major expansion and new construction, which began in March 2022 is expected to be completed May 15, 2024. Construction-related noises will be likely during this timeframe and may be heard throughout the entirety of the complex. Any operations that create excessive noise such as jack-hammering, hoe-ramming, and rock-crushing will be performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The current rates have been reduced for the inconvenience. ** ** Important Notice: The pool and hot tub at Pacific Shores will be closed for renovation August - October 2024.**

This place was modern and tidy. The shower is large and the beds are comfortable. Just a short walk from Charley Young / Kam I beaches.Beach chairs, umbrella and boogie board in the closet. I would stay here again.

Wasnt the most luxurious place we have ever stayed, but it is pretty much as we would have expected based on price (relative to the price of other places in the area).
Things we liked: location, beach gear (chairs, towels, etc.) for use by renters, communication with property management.
Things we didn't like: a few things broken (kitchen drawers, bedroom blinds), uncomfortable hide-a-bed (but in fairness most of them aren't comfortable), a bit dated and worn (e.g. it was hard to tell which burner was assigned to which dial and the heat because all of the markers were rubbed off), pool and jacuzzi weren't available.
Overall, a good place to stay because of location (everything from beach to restaurants to grocery stores was walkable or within five minute drive). We were by no means wowed by the property, but it did represent a great place to rest our heads after playing at the beach. Would look to stay here again when headed back to Maui, especially if budget was a major concern (just remember that all housing is expensive there).

We rented this condo when our older kids decided to join us last minute on a family vacation. Great amount of space, nice finishes in the kitchen. Bathroom was very large-seemed to be fantastic for anyone in a wheel chair. The kids report beds were comfortable. They were old there to sleep and shower. They were not impacted by the construction next door. Cute inner courtyard. They did say the bedroom that faced the new construction was a bit warm. They appreciated the cooler and boogie boards. Great stay!

The property was clean and a great location to access beaches, and to explore the rest of the island. Construction was still going on, but since we were out all day it wasn't a problem. Unfortunately the pool wasn't available, but the beach was so close it was fine. Very well equipped, we really appreciated the beach chairs, wagon, cooler, etc. Would recommend.

Great place for family. Really nice pool area for all kids and grown-ups. Close to several beaches with lifeguards. Would stay there again.

Walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom.
Cons:
Kitchen not as clean as expected. Stove and cookware worn and in need of replacement. Living room furniture worn out and not comfortable at all. Pool was under construction but who needs a pool when the beach is so close? View was of a construction dumpster but
That was disclosed in the photos. Honestly, we booked this room as a place to sleep and whip up a quick breakfast/lunch before spending the day exploring the island, and it served its purpose at a reasonable price! Be sure to visit the Cinnamon Roll shop, Coconuts, and Paia Fish House!

This two bedroom one bathroom condo is the perfect location to beautiful beaches in Kihei. This set up was perfect with two bedrooms and a pull out couch. My husband and I, as well as our two kids and my mom had plenty of room. Our favorite amenity was the beach wagon and beach chairs with coolers supplied in the closet. It really made our beach visits so much more enjoyable. The pool is very nice and we had a lot of fun swimming there. The place is very clean and the property management company was very clear and communicative during our day. I highly recommend this condo for your trip to Maui!

Everything was alright except the towels smelled really bad and furniture was pretty worn. I wish there was coffee and cream. The location was great and we really enjoyed the food trucks.

We stayed here with my 18 year old daughter and her best friend and her mom. We really enjoyed the house and the location was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very convenient to local fare and beaches. The road in front of the complex can get very busy, so it was nice being able to walk to food trucks and other shops. (For the best food, skip the restaurants and find the food trucks.) We really enjoyed the beach chairs and other items made available to us.

The property is walking distance to a bountiful beach, the value for the stay was unmatched. It checked off all the boxes of what we were looking for. Using the the small ice chest, umbrellas and chairs that were available saved us money and space. Tons of walkable restaurants nearby.

Had a unit on the first-floor room was well maintained. My daughter loved the Pool early in the day we had it our selves. Met some interesting people from around the world after sunset while soaking in the hot tube. overall 8/10 the parking was a bit tight and lots of construction going on around the unit.

We had a lovely stay, everything was as advertised in the posting. We were on Maui for a family wedding and spent some time at the beach - great that there was a wagon in the unit! - and at the pool. We'd stay here again next time we visit.

Condo was very basic but met our needs. The location is great as it's in walking distance to the beaches, shops, Foodland, and restaurants. The pool is a no fun zone according to security. No jumping, games, or having fun in the pool. Tell your kids to swim quietly and use ASL or security well yell at them.

We loved our stay in Kihei. The perfect beach-town neighbourhood, not too far from the hustle and bustle of Wailea and/or West Maui, but not too tourist-y either! The condo was perfect for our needs including a parking spot and the apartment (including the kitchen) was nicely stocked.

We enjoyed our time at the property in Kihei. Very walkable to beaches and restaurants. Spacious two bedroom condo with a massive bathroom and updated kitchen. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Having the pool on site was nice because it was pretty stormy a few days when we were in Maui. When we couldn’t go to the beach, at least we could enjoy the water at the pool. Would definitely recommend.
The parking spots are tight, but we didn’t always have cars next to us, so it worked out.

Overall our stay was great! We stayed for 4 nights and this condo met our needs. Located at the center of a few beaches within walking distance. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Great location! Easy access to surfing, snorkeling, great beaches, and awesome food. The apartment complex is well kept and has nice neighbors.
Downsides: (1) This year they enforced some over-the-top rules at the pool making it almost unusable to anyone that doesn't just float (e.g. any kid). (2) The apartment only has a single A/C unit and the back bedroom gets REALLY hot. (3) The washing machine sounds like an airline landing.
Overall, we really enjoyed the apartment. These nuances were frustrating given the price.

We had a great time at Pacific Shores. The location is fantastic for walking to a Kihei town and Charley Young beach. The beds are comfortable and the condo is spacious for a 2 bedroom. We loved the access beach gear! We found the bedroom closest to the lanai to be quite warm and take longer to cool off than the rest of the condo. We also became accustomed to using the washing machine during the day because it is very loud! Overall we had an amazing time here!

This was a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The unit is on the ground floor with a small lanai that is open to a strip of lawn, that looks over towards the Coast Hotel's expansion site. During the day construction was happening, but as we were out and about during the day it was never a problem. From the lanai you can see the sun come up over Haleakala and set over the ocean in the evening. The Coast's new building might change that, but for now, it lovely to see.All the appliances work great; fridge, stove, oven, washer/dryer. The A/C only had to be on for a short while to cool the whole unit down. There was enough dishes, pots and pans for 4 people to make do and create delicious meals. Wifi was fast, good cable on the living room and 2 bedrooms TVs. It's just a walk across the street to Kamaole Beach 1, and just a short stroll either way on Kihei Rd to lots of shops, cafe's and such. It was a good place to relax and find some much needed Aloha.

Quick walk to the beach, that is perfect for kids of all sizes! Property was quiet and clean! Pool area very nice and jacuzzi is hot perfect after an adventure on the island to restore for the next day! Apartment had all the items one might need to cook and relax. Patio was so nice on the morning!! There is construction currently going on next door but it wasn’t a bother or to loud! Would stay here again! Beds were comfy even the sofa couch was doable! We had a family of five everyone over 15 and weren’t too crowded! Yes there was so bed sharing between teens !

Great location near Charley Young beach and comfortable condo with lovely, large bathroom. AC in living room was nice as it was very hot in August. Bedrooms had no AC but were cool enough at night with windows open and fans on. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved being a short walk from the beach and shops. Unit was small, but we were able to meet up with larger groups at the pool to grill. Right now there is a lot of construction going on around the property, so be prepared for some noise and mild inconveniences.

August 2021 Stay
There were a lot of cockroaches, dead and alive. We had a party of 5 and the pull out couch mattress had a hole in it and would not inflate. The AC is on a 6hr. timer which means you have to get up in the middle of the night to reset it to stay cool. Overall, we wanted a place within walking distance of the beach, which was nice. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
