I had a wonderful stay at Kingdom gate hotel. The friendly staff provided a warm welcome (Ceylon tea) , and I tried some Sri Lanka food was delightful. Service was excellent. They have big swimming pool and quiet garden. It's evident the hotel is evolving, and I believe it has the potential to become even more impressive in the future.

A stay for full family and even with friends.

Hotel is best for family stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They cater to every need of the guests. Special thanks to Mr Rane for preparing dosa for my family. Will be visiting again this property in future. Sihan and kaveesha were very helpful in the property.

Make sure they give you the rooms you book and charged for as some rooms are really bad.

The people and the food.

Rooms. We were given 2 rooms on ground floor and 2more in 1st floor. The ground floor rooms were pathetic. Dirty, bad quality toilet, and list doesn't stop here.

Nice hotel in good location

Great pool and bed was comfortable. Location was good, easy to get to local attractions. Breakfast was nice with a good range of options.

There was little hot water or water pressure and the bathroom smelt of stagnant water. The food for dinner was average compared to other food we’ve had in Sri Lanka.

Great pool, useful location, but the rooms were not up to standard at this price point

The pool was great! And the location suited us for the Golden Temple, cave temples and hot air balloon ride. The breakfast was fine.

The rooms felt like they needed a lot of work. They were unmaintained and need to be upgraded to match the price point per night. The bathroom was a serious disappointment. There was a terrible drain smell that seeped into the room and made it very unpleasant.

Great value and staff. Definitely recommended.

Amazing value for money. Staff was so helpful and attentive. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Pool was very well looked after too. Top notch!

My Experience at Sigriya Kingdom

Location of the property

The rooms were not clean. For a 45 usd stay for two nights, I ended up paying 35 usd for breakfast which is absolutely absurd. Property does not provide more than two small bottles of water and you end up buying water bottle at 3 times the marked price of the bottle from the restaurant.

Lovely stay.

The staff were very friendly especially the receptionist and restaurant manager. They arranged airport taxi for us as well as an early checkin. The location was safe and the room has good air conditioning.

5 stars at the price of 3

We booked for 2 nights only and we stayed 6 nights. Actually we are still here and we don't want to leave! The staff is super helpful, the food is excellent, the room with balcony is big and clean and everything works well. The location is beautiful, far away from the noise of the roads and at 20 minutes walk from the entrance of the cave temple. The price compared to the quality of the hotel is really cheap. an oasis to rest

All the staff very welcoming. Good food, good vibes. The hotel arranged tuk tuk and taxis for us according to the trips we wanted to do! Everything very clean. Calm environment and quiet, ideally to rest after discover the surroundings! Just a suggestion: the hotel could have a bar with snacks and some drinks.

Nice location, comfortable bedding and the pool

Manager constantly asking to cancel the booking through booking.com and getting a room directly for a higher rate which was unpleasant

Some of the plug points weren't working in one room. The air condition didn't work properly kept turning off while sleeping. They were nice enough to change the room the following day the air conditon was a bit better in the other room but also turned off from time to time.

Great location to see the dambula caves (3 minutes walking) Quiet and in the middle of the wild

Although it look great on photos, there is still a lot to improve: breakfast, staff speed and response

Payment: USD was 348 LKR on the date of payment but I was charged 365 per dollar. Checkout timings was 12pm as per the booking.com but it 11am when I went to the hotel.
