We had the best time at the beach! The house was beautiful and extremely well maintained. Super close to beach access with lifeguard, ice cream, restaurants and groceey store. We enjoyed the front deck and outdoor shower :-)

The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor shower was just amazing and the location was perfect. It exceeded all expectations!

Can't say enough about Jeff the host. Great communication and the property lived up to everything said about it. Short walk to the beach but great thing was a short walk to restaurants, coffee etc as well. Very clean with plenty of space. Definitely will stay here again.

To top it all off- the owner was very accessible and helpful with all our needs. We will for sure be looking to stay here again

This was our family's second stay at this wonderful beach house. We love its location to the beach, restaurants, and the house itself is very modern and well kept, with all of the amenities (and more) that anyone would need during a trip to the beach. If you are thinking of booking - don't hesitate! You and your family will love it as much as we do!

If you think the pictures of this house are amazing, wait till you step inside. It’s obvious the owners care about this home. There are a lot of personal touches – a beach theme in every room, including the bathroom vanity knobs. The house was was updated, well maintained, clean and the location couldn’t be beat. We were walking distance to so many restaurants, a grocery store and you can see the beach stairs from the porch. Beach gear and bicycles were conveniently delivered right to the house. I’m an experienced VRBOer, so I’m always prepared with garbage bags, coffee filters, dishwasher tabs -all the things you don’t want to buy a big package of locally. The most considerate owners, leave a small supply as these owners did. Like the guests before us, we added a few items (paper drink umbrellas & pantry items) to the already well stocked kitchen. The dishes (loved the mason jar glasses) and cookware were all great quality, not the cheap stuff you’ll often find in rentals. Be aware that some restaurants had long waits, but we managed to always eventually find ones with less than 45 minutes (we walked away from a few 2+ hours waits) and had really great meals and service (check the guest book for our favs). Please treat this home as if it was your own, and let many more families enjoy the beauty and relaxation of this house and Nags Head.

The Fanzo's did an amazing job with this property. A totally modernized classic OBX cottage house. The home is spotless and modernized in every way. Location is across the street from one of the best beach access areas in Nags Head. If you like to surf the sandbar at Abalone down to Bonnet is very reliable. We have rented the home two years in a row and plan to return again. My daughter and family were ready to stay!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful. It is very clean, comfy and beautifully decorated. Jeff and Angie have done a wonderful job renovating the cottage and you can see the pride they have in the cottage and wanting to make sure their guests feel at home and have a memorial vacation. Everything is top notch. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need and all the appliances are new. The furniture is very comfy and you just feel at home. The house is a 4 bedroom with plenty of room for a large family. The beds are very comfy and all the bedrooms have ceiling fans. The washer and dryer are brand new and there is a nice enclosed outdoor shower to rinse off. This cottage is located 1 easy block from the beach access and in the heart of everything. You can walk for groceries, dinner and many retail shops. In the evening you can sit on the wraparound porch and hear the waves crashing on the beach and enjoy a wonderful breeze. We were very fortunate to be able to rent this cottage and Jeff (the owner) was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this cottage. I guarantee you will love it and enjoy your stay as much as we did.

The house and location were perfect for our family vacation with two small children. The house was very clean, modernly appointed, and well-equipped with everything we needed to have a great stay - including lot of fun games for the kids! The house is in walking distance to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, and our favorite OBX coffee spot - Front Porch Cafe. Looking forward to booking again next year!

We stayed here with our three girls 5, 3 and 3 months along with our friends and their two girls 3 and 6 months. The house was perfect for our two families. It’s not huge and not right on the beach but it’s a short easy walk (5min to sand). You can see the dunes and can hear the ocean from the front porch and there is a nice breeze as well. The entire house has been recently updated and is very nice and super functional. The beach access has a shower which is nice to clean up right before you head back to the house. There is a grocery store and other shops within walking distance. There is a hose downstairs to wash off your beach gear or truck (if you head to the 4x4 beach). The only real negative during our stay was the washer and dryer we’re not working but the we contacted the owner and he had new units delivered during our stay! I would most definitely recommend this house. You won’t be disappointed!

This house was beautiful and absolutly perfect for our family vacation. Newly renovated and had everything we needed. Several kitchen amenities and a short walk to the beach. We loved that you could see the beach access from our balcony. The location is also really close to all of the great spots in the OBX like Jockeys ridge. Would highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

Loved the kitchen and all the appliances needed to cook, the outside shower was great for getting all the sand off before coming into the house. We have a family of 7 and it is impossible to find the perfect size place for our five kids. This was perfect space to have fun, enjoy the beach, and relax together.

We had a great time at the house, it suited our needs pretty well. The house is cozy and clean and close to many attractions in Nags Head. Our only complaint is about the washer and dryer. The washer did not rinse well even with small loads, and would leave detergent behind, which required an extra rinse cycle to complete. The dryer would get the clothes warm, but never dry even after multiple cycles. Otherwise the home is quaint and roomy, we would recommend this to others.

We cannot think of a better OBX location! This well appointed and cozy beach home is bright, modern, walking distance to the beach, coffee shops, ice cream shops, retail & grocery stores. With a great wraparound porch, outdoor shower and accommodating double carport, the exterior is perfect to clean up and then settle into the sunsets and great family relaxation. We really enjoyed all the ease of cooking with a well stocked kitchen and the four bedrooms provided ample space. Thanks so much for providing us with the perfect spot to vacation!

Perfectly located near the Abalone St access and one of the Surfing best sandbars in Nags ahead. Easy walk to surf, great restaurants, ice cream, beach and surf rental and groceries. Very well equipped kitchen and living area. The porch is fabulous in the afternoon. Shade from the sun and a nice breeze. Best of the classic OBX cottages we have rented. The Fanzos have preserved a gem. We are already thinking about rebooking for next year!

We stayed for a week at this property and it was the best experience. We weren’t too familiar with the area and this house is the perfect location. We hauled three boys (including a baby) back and forth to the beach without any issue. Plenty of restaurants and the grocery store are walking distance. We had so much fun playing in the large front yard, relaxing on the porch and cooking family meals in the lovely kitchen. Beds were super comfortable and the house stayed cool. I highly recommend this property for a stay in OBX!!
