Our 2-bedroom Kalama Terrace condo is located on a quiet street just off the main strip. You feel secluded and at home - meanwhile, you are a short walk from downtown Kihei. Our entire condo was recently remodeled and offers a fully furnished kitchen, two spacious bedrooms equipped with queen-size beds, full bathroom with granite countertops, living/dining room, a lanai, and is air-conditioned. The condo is located on the ground floor and is a corner unit, allowing for maximum privacy and ease of entry (handicap accessible). Complimentary hi-speed Wi-Fi will help you stay connected, or relax in front of our 42in HD tv. Newly installed tropical-themed furniture is complimented by local Hawaiian artwork to give you the true feeling of island living. The lanai provides the perfect space to sit outside in privacy and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. Your two private parking spots are just steps from your front door, or, forget a car; you’re less than a four minute walk to the world re-known Charlie Young Beach! If you feel like relaxing nearby, the newly renovated pool is the perfect place to indulge in the sun. The connected grilling area featuring two large stainless steel grills is perfect for barbecuing or to throw your own Luau! We rented the condo due to the location - very walkable, close to many restaurants, shopping, beaches, bus line - no car needed.
The condo was exceptionally clean and had most of what we needed - what it was missing is minor, we let the owner know, and they may even be there by the time you stay. It doesn't have a TV in either of the bedrooms, which might be a nice upgrade, but the living room TV was great.
The place is quiet, beds are comfortable, nice pool and BBQ area. And the hot water is amazing - it seemed like there's a recirculator. Overall, we'd stay again.

We had a great stay at this ground floor condo. Very comfortable living room furniture which is not always the case. Just a few steps from the pool. Daniel was an excellent host and very easy to contact and communicate with. Secluded patio was perfect for morning coffee. Close to "downtown" with, shops, restaurants etc..
Walking distance from a beautiful park and beach. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Maui.

This is a lovely, clean, well-maintained property located at a very nice part of town, which is very close to a lot of desirable beaches, shops and restaurants. You can tell that the owner takes a lot of pride in keeping this condo well-decorated. The parking spot is very close to the entrance of the property and it is very easy to get your luggage and items in an out of this Place. The only disappointment for us was that something was wrong with the television and we were not able to use it all for three of the four days that we stayed here. When we messaged the owner, he did respond fairly quickly and told us that he doesn’t watch TV but he gave us a phone number to call the cable provider as well as a number to call a maintenance guy. The cable provider was unable to help us because we were not the account holders and the maintenance guy didn’t call us back the day we left a message, but after we sent another text message to the property owner he got ahold of him and sent him over to our place . After messing around with it for nearly a half hour the maintenance guy was able to get the DVD player to play at least so we were able to watch one of the four DVDs that were sitting by the TV to have something to view when we got back that night after spending our day snorkeling. However, he was unable to figure out how to get the cable or any of the streaming services to work on this television, so it appeared to be an issue with the cable service or a connection between the cable service and the television. For us personally, not having a working television was not a huge problem because we spent most of our time exploring the area, but it was disappointing to not have something to watch at the end of the night while relaxing before we went to bed. Overall, I would say that this is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it, unless having a lack of a TV or cable could be a big problem for you potentially. Outside of the issues with watching the television, everything else worked great including the air-conditioning and fans in the property, as well as the refrigerator and devices within the kitchen. The interior of this property is fantastic and I am confident that you will have a nice stay at this place.

Dislikes:
-Old building, didn't really get a "luxurious" feel. Especially the bathroom.
-Dim lighting everywhere
-There was an almost empty bottle of Conditioner. Daniel said it wasn't included so we needed to buy our own if we wanted more. The body wash was "for men" and was very heavily scented.
-Windows don't fully close and it can be noisy outside, especially when garbage truck comes by. Mosquitos and a lizard somehow came in with the doors closed.
- some dishes were covered in old grease/oil so we had to scrub them before use
FYI no check in to an association (like some other condos for rental), it is a lock box. Also there is a ring camera at the entrance, not sure what it connects to.

We booked this property for a graduation trip for our son 6/2022. Our host was super responsive and our check in process was easy and fast. The pool is clean and surprisingly deep! We used the grill on the property for dinner, it's was clean and easy to use. This property is just a short walk to the beach, stores and shopping. The a/c worked great, beds were nice, kitchen fully stocked and over all very clean condo. We were pleased with our stay and would absolutely rent again.

This property was perfect for my daughter and I. It was close to restaurants and shops. It’s super close to the beaches. You’ll several to pick from. We loved having air conditioning and the ice trays. It was very clean and comfortable. If your renting a car make sure it’s a compact, the parking spot is tricky.

The location was a convenient walking distance to beaches and shopping. The condo was comfortable and well furnished, except for lacking a washer and dryer even though those were listed as amenities. There was only a pay laundry room out by the pool, which was not what I expected.

The condo is convenient to all locations within Maui. Property has all necessities and clean when checking in. Lots of eating, coffee and grocery choices close by. Host is very helpful and easy to communicate with. Great for a family stay !

Check in and out was simple as it could be. Plenty of parking for two cars even though I was by myself and only had one car. The place was so clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach in Kehei. The host Daniel was super nice and friendly. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Maui if the place is available and encourage you to do the same.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daniel's condo. It was clean and had almost everything we needed. It's within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants while not being in the thick of the touristy areas. Daniel provided thorough information prior to our stay for the care and use of the space as well. One thing I will note that was not mentioned is that the sliding door to the lanai will sometimes automatically lock so make sure you don't close it all the way when enjoying the outdoor space.

Daniel was an awesome host and the property was a great place to stay. Everything was a walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and bars. The property has a nice pool and BBQ area that has a quiet atmosphere. Parking is also very close to the 2bed unit.

Great location within walking distance of an awesome little beach with giant turtles. Great restaurants nearby. The complex has a pool which feels great after being in the salt water all day. Will definitely stay here again in the future if we go back to Maui. Thank you Daniel!

This property is located right next to the beaches and just a short drive from anywhere on the south west part of the island. Pool available if you want to swim or a short walk to the ocean and a couple places to eat. Host is great with ahead of time communication on the check in process and check out. Would recommend to individuals looking for a good two bedroom condo for 2-4 people to stay in.

In the other direction is Kaluma Park which is a really cute, grassy park with a rock wall along the ocean. From there you can watch hundreds of people go surfing every morning, or take a lesson yourself.
The nightlife has a number of bars available, all of which seem to require a 20-60 minute wait to be seated, but that's what happens in popular spots. Kihei was probably my favorite city to stay in in Hawaii.
The condo itself has everything you need. The AC in the bedroom might be a little loud but I slept just fine and was a comfortable temperature throughout the night. The parking isn't the clearest, so it might benefit future guests for the host to provide a photo of the parking space. The host gave me a phone call when I messaged with some confusion about the parking and he was very helpful and responsive. One other area it could be improved for guests, particularly since it is so close to the beach, is to provide a keycode door lock so the guests don't need to carry a key with them if they want to go for a swim.
Overall I was very happy with the location and would recommend it for other guests.
