We had a wonderful stay over Christmas at this cabin. It's in a beautiful, private, heavily-wooded neighborhood. The wrap around balconies are a pleasant place to enjoy the scenery. The house had all the essentials you need for your stay. One thing to note is that the stairs are very steep. My dog slipped down them a couple times (she's old). So if you have joint problems or older pups keep that in mind. Would definitely stay here again.

My sister and I enjoyed the location...very quiet with beautiful trees in every direction. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the "cabin" very much. Very nice to be able to include our dogs. We would recommend this place to anyone who needs to rest and relax.

Cabin is very comfortable and in a great location in BTV. Super quiet and peaceful. Liked the upstairs sitting area around gas stove and also the kitchen. Lots of light and view of trees. Great view of stars at night out on deck. April was very communicative and helpful.

We loved the space, decor, well-stocked kitchen, comfy mattresses. It is a beautiful location and my only recommendations are to create a host book with all info in one place and directions on how to walk into the park…also, the reason fragrance-free laundry detergent is created is because many of us can’t handle strong fragrances. And, finally, fix the tile/edging inside the front door—I left a bit of my skin behind because of it. I do recommend this lodging for the many other reasons I have noted.

Nice place, a little updating is needed. Carpets were stained, no instructions on the thermostat. Not everyone has the same one. That would have been appreciated. Tile is cracked by the front door and I almost fell, socks got caught on the corner.

Lovely house, bathrooms had everything you might need, and usually forget, like q-tips and make up removing wipes.
View from both decks was lovely you. Perfect combination of spacious grounds, but not to isolated.
No air conditioning, but opening the windows overnight and using the ceiling fans in the living rooms and bedrooms kept us cool.
Easy communication with the property caretaker.

Enjoyed our stay - having bed/bath on both floors gave my teenager privacy, enjoyed the pool table, BBQ, and serene view of the trees. Kitchen well equipped. Comfy vibe, plenty of pillows and blankets.

I was there with my wife and two daughters. Stay was extraordinary, restrooms and bedrooms were clean and nice. My daughters loved the game room downstairs and the view from there. Once on the deck, the sound of the creek is just awesome. We had some snow but the stay was cozy and comfortable. 10 minutes away you have breakfast lunch and dinner. Giant burger is a must visit. Lake behind the giant burger is a good day spot for a hike and picnic. We loved it. Just a smal suggestion: pls fix the tiles just in front of the main door. And we did leave a note for the owners and April , the caretaker.

Well stocked kitchen and extremely quiet neighborhood.
Mattresses were trampolines with little support and extremely bouncy.
The house really lacks air flow and on just mild 70s days becomes quite hot and difficult to cool.
The deck upstairs wraps 360* and downstairs 180*. But it is very narrow with a low fence and approx 15 foot drop off the top level. Felt uneasy.

This is a beautifully furnished home, clean with a wonderful downstairs game room, table, many board games and a pool table which we enjoyed. Easy access to the upstairs where the living room, kitchen and two bedrooms are located (no stairs needed). We loved taking walks around the wrap around deck. It was cold for the first day and a half (this was in June) as the thermostat wasn't working (it needed a new filter) which April came over to install and the gas stove wasn't working because the pilot light was not left on. April's community handyman came over, started the pilot light and instructed us on how to use it which was easy once he explained it to us. This was our first time in a VRBO and the difference as to staying in a hotel is that if something is not quite right you can't just go down to the front desk and have someone come over right away. Beautiful setting and we enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful home or cabin. Would come back with more people and stay longer. Freezing downstairs and can get quite warm upstairs. Internet is terrible. Cable tv was fine.

We arrived pretty late but the stay was so worth it! We had brought our pup with us and she had so much fun in the snow. They even had a food and water bowl for her! The place was super cozy and felt like a second home. We really loved the set up and all the extras available (ie, board games, streaming networks, extra towels and blankies, pool table). Would definitely stay again and would 10/10 recommend to family and friends.

Went for a Snow Vacation, and the Heavens Dumped 24 inches, It was beautiful. So peaceful, Lots of sledding right out the front door, lots of Games, and Pool playing. We were without Electricity for about 8 hours, but it was still fun! Great family home.

We had a wonderful stay and especially enjoyed the coziness and overall feeling of the cabin. Having the TV upstairs near the fire would’ve been a plus to make it even more cozy and increase the family atmosphere. But overall a comfortable and wonderful stay!

Location and curb appeal was beautiful. Snowing when we arrived. Opened door to find unit had not been cleaned. Dirty sheets and towels piled in each room. Bathrooms and kitchen half cleaned. It was bad! Power had been out to the entire village for awhile. Not the fault of cleaning crew but would have been nice to receive a text or call about the issue. I contacted their cleaning person April, got a quick phone call back. She offered to bring us sheets and towels , she lived an hour away. Now it’s about 5pm, still no power, she told us where to find extra sheets. Not enough extra for all 3 beds, luckily we had a sleeping bag in the car. I told her we would make do. She said that I will receive a refund of my cleaning fee from Evolve the management co. I have yet to hear from them. Thank you for asking for a review. At least VRBO still has good customer relations.

The home is comfortable and has beautiful trees. We reported stinky garbage in cans on arrival and it took 3 days for them to get picked up. Because of bears in the area, the garbage cans are indoors so it would be better if bear proof cans could be available outdoors. The carpets were stained, tiles cracked in entryway and fireplace did not work. We reported these issues when we checked in and April, the housekeeper acknowledged these concerns. The management company, Evolve, did not seem to be involved except taking reservation and posting reviews. I objected to the mandatory damage insurance because we always leave our vacation rentals in beautiful condition, but they do not make exceptions. Why don’t they just include it in the service fee since it is not optional? The heater worked great upstairs but downstairs was cold despite space heaters and blankets. The decor is eclectic and too much “stuff” for my taste, I think a thorough update and some fresh paint would be nice. The positives: nice coffee maker, plenty of cookware, plethora of blankets, pillows, towels, safety gates on stairs for little ones, pets accepted and good location for exploring the beautiful countryside.

It was wonderful to experience this neighborhood. Very quiet and beautiful. The house is not fancy but very workable for our family. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked. I do think the coffee machine needs to be replaced but did like it took pods or you could brew a pot. The second level was wonderful, each family has a level to themselves There is no tv on the main level. I don’t watch much so it didn’t matter. Loved all of the windows! Would want to come back in the winter when it snows! Thank you April for working with us on the late check out! It helped a lot!😀

April was fantastic. Home very clean. Perfect home for us seniors. Totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Only one thing I would recommend is to have garbage pick up with a bear bin. Felt bad to leave all the garage inside house.. thank you again . Hope to return next year.

This home is gorgeous and furnished with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing trip away. The upstairs sitting areas and patios are wonderful for sitting and chatting amongst family or friends and the downstairs pool table and board game made for a fun break from hiking in the nearby state park. The property was also exceptionally clean. Overall a great stay!

The property is near a 8-9 for a mountain cabin. Great windows, quiet, wonderful great rooms upstairs and down. Real party room downstairs with pool table, big TV, bar table for cards next to a master suite. Upstairs more family oriented. The amenities and homey knick-knack's are too many to mention. Fine furniture mostly (bed was a bit soft).
as to the BAD...
1) wasn't ready at 4pm, or 5pm, more like 6 after calling.
2) NO air conditioning. It's around 82-84 in the afternoon and never got below 80 until after 10pm. Not a problem sleeping though. Plan on parking yourself in from of a floor fan, one of which was broken. Most ceiling fans (one in every room) are a bit noisy and unstable to run faster than low.
3) No coffee filters for carafe, but plenty of coffee and could make singles with single drip. Bring your own coffee if you like coffee.
4) one kitchen oven hood light was out, I saw a broken (cracked) window downstairs, some stains on carpets
5) saying it sleeps 6 is a stretch insofar as the small bedroom is small and one person would have to climb over another to get out of bed! The couches are not good for sleeping but are impressive furniture. The windows and overall effect are a 8-10.
Don't get me wrong, it's a FABOLOUS place mostly, and a value if you had 4-5 people. There are too many extras to mention.

Great stay
This was a very low key rental. It had everything we needed and actually had more than we expected. Nicely appointed and well stocked. We never felt like we had to be super careful or worried, felt like a family home. If your bringing a dog I would suggest a baby gate for the front walkway, then there is no way to get out.
