Stone Wheel Cottage is a charming and spacious holiday destination, and a great place to be for a small group with a cuddly puppy at Christmas!
There are naturally quirks in a cottage of this age, among them a creaky radiator system that wakes the house up when it fires into action!

The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. The pool was amazing and at a perfect temperature. The host was helpful .

We like the location- a charming village with a good gastro pub a short walk away. 20 minutes drive to Blenheim Palace. Cottage was spacious. The log burner was nice as we went in December for the Blenheim Christmas market.
The check in and check out times. 6 pm check in is just too late,and 10 am too early , although Joanne did let us in early as I'd gone early to scope out the parking spaces and she did say we didn't have to rush out on our last day but we'd already packed and tidied up.
The cottage was cold when the heating went off - it was on a timer and we ran out of logs. To be fair, I suppose we could have asked for more.

Loved the space - all the rooms a good size, including both bathrooms. Wonderfully helpful hosts on the site. Very quiet. Secluded garden and long views. Regular bus service to Banbury and Chipping Norton a few yards away. Relaxed atmosphere as not set up as a 'show home', more home from home!
