Casa Mar Azul ~ 'Where the land ends and the Caribbean begins'.. tucked away in the Punta Sur (South Point) is our luxurious and very spacious 3 bedroom and 3.5 residence. Punta Sur is the most exclusive and sought after area on the island offering unhindered views overlooking the "neon blue" waters of of the Caribbean and the Bay of Cancun. This side of the island is well known for the best views & multi-colored sunsets over the Caribbean Ocean. Our home is surrounded by the Caribbean Ocean on 3 sides and in front of the Garrafon De Castilla Beach Club .. which is located literally a few steps from our front door. Perfect for a large family or as a holiday retreat and is ideally positioned to enjoy the close proximity to white sandy beaches, bars and restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the front of our home. You will enjoy year round sparkling clear, warm azure waters, beautiful white sandy beaches, gentle tropical breezes, spectacular views, ancient Mayan ruins and modern conveniences that is only a 15 minute ferry ride from Cancun - but worlds apart. Our home features a beautiful custom pool with color changing LED lighting, custom glow-in-the-dark feature and tempered glass around the edge for added safety..it creates a mirage of those beautiful “Caribbean blues". Casa Mar Azul is a very large & open living room and dining area with brand new furniture..Reclining sofa, loveseat and recliners for your afternoon siesta. The downstairs living & dining area allows you the ability to 'bring the outside - inside' that features retractable glass doors leading to the pool area. We have a full size outdoor grill for you to use as well. Newly built custom wood cabinets in the kitchen and travertine flooring throughout our home with custom wood cabinetry in kitchen, granite countertops, Complimentary international phone line for you and your guests to use during your stay to keep in touch with loved ones, Dish satellite TV (with US channels), High speed WiFi internet throughout our home as well as a WiFi network booster, so no matter where you are in our home there will always be a strong signal. Ceiling fans are installed in every room, and split air conditioning units in all rooms that will cool down VERY quickly.. Our home offer three very spacious Master suites. The 1st bedroom is located on the main level of the house and it has a King bed with luxurious bedding with en suite large bathroom with walk-in shower & walk-in closet. On the 2nd level of the home you will find the beautiful Master suite that has a King size bed, luxurious bedding and 'floor-to-ceiling' windows on 3 sides that overlooks the Caribbean Ocean & Cancun Bay, Large en suite bathroom and built-in closet with plenty of space for your clothes and built-in safe. The 3rd Bedroom has two Queen beds and walk-in closet, & ensuite full bathroom with large shower. Each bedroom has a large private full bathroom with walk-in showers and marble vanity tops. Second level bedrooms have walk-out balconies/terraces overlooking the Caribbean and a table and chairs on the balcony. Up one more level and you will reach the spacious rooftop area what offers 360 degrees of "Caribbean Blues" and the most brilliantly colored sunsets on the island. We recently completed construction of a lighted pergola and tiled bar area with sink and refrigerator, custom oversized sectional sofa with comfy cushions & lots of throw pillows to relax and get lost in all the beauty and ocean breezes..maybe grab a nap or two. The area is ideal for entertaining friends, family trips, weddings and hosting yoga retreats. Additional Amenities: Here are just a few of the many additional "perks" that we provide for each of our guests (no additional charge) to make your vacation as stress free as possible I am more than happy to arrange for reserving your golf cart and it will be delivered to our home at the time you specify and there is never any additional charges for gas for your entire rental, your round-trip private airport transfers to the ferry to head to the island. Our family has used them (& still do) for nearly 20 years...all of our guests rave about their dependability and promptness.. We can have our home pre-stocked with your grocery & beverage items prior to your arriva, arrange for a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim with whale sharks (May 22 - September 17), etc. If you can think of it.. we can make it happen! We had a very relaxing stay and were so impressed by the cleanliness of the house. The beds were so comfortable and the views were just amazing! The temp of the pool was perfect and getting around the island by golf cart was so much fun, highly recommend!

Stayed a week and had a great time. Beautiful view, great house for a larger group of people while still feeling like you have your own spaces. Parents loved the view, and kids loved the pool and neighborhood Iguanas. House Manager (Stacy) and Housekeeper (Monica) were great and helpful with anything we needed.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Casa Mar Azul, the house is in a perfect location with amazing views. We enjoyed night swimming after a sunny day of warming up the pool water. My girls only wanted chicken tenders from The Joint across the road, so we couldn’t be in a better place!

We rented Ashley's house for a week stay on Isla Mujeres. It was 3 adult couples. Everything was perfect, start to finish. Stacy, the house manager was attentive responded immediately with any of our questions/needs. The view is magnificent! The house was comfortable with more than enough space for 6 adults. This is my 7th trip to the island and prefer this area on south end overlooking Cancun Bay (definitely the best view). Rented a cart for the week to make our daily beach visit to Las Hamacas on Playa Norte and exploring. It was nice to come back to the sunsets and the peaceful quiet end of the island. There are plenty of places to go locally. We enjoyed having the joint right behind us. Walking to Punta Sur for the sunrise is a must. I can not say enough nice things about the house, location, view and the whole rental process that was made super easy with Ashley and Stacy. We will be back.

The house was beautiful and the pool area and the view was spectacular! Omar was very helpful with any questions we had and he arranged for taxis when we left. The location was excellent and I highly recommend this home for vacation.

The home owner, property manager & assistant, and housekeeper were extraordinary! Such great communication!
We had a monsoon storm overnight that ended up flooding the house and within a few hours all hands were on deck helping to clean, etc!
We were lacking kitchen essentials for cooking for more than just a few people (there were 5 of us plus 2 for a night for an engagement dinner 😍), but we purchased them and left them for the incoming bookings!
The assistant house manager is Omar. He made THE BEST guacamole and pico de hallo we’ve ever had! Absolutely phenomenal! We asked him to prepare both for our engagement dinner and it was somehow even better! And for a nominal price!
The housekeeper was fantastic and kind and thorough!
The view is absolutely breathtaking from all patio/balconies!
If you are traveling with a group, you will love this property! Plenty of space!
Across the street from The Joint. Best pizza ever! Steps from Garrafon de Castillo (snorkeling and drinks were phenomenal!) and just a short walk to Kin Ha where my husband declared the best marg on the island!
It was always quiet at night and no light pollution so we enjoyed the best sunsets EVER! 😍

We appreciate you sharing your house with us. The view was amazing. Quiet part of the island which we enjoyed. Views from the pool are great especially at sunsets. Joint right across the street and the staff there is really friendly. They learned our names first time we were there amd were always fast to say hi when we went back. We stopped in there for a bit every day. We would definately stay here again. Only negetative was bout 45 minutes at dusk mosquitos ran us out of the pool but its island during rain season so was expected. We rented golf cart for the week and spent the day at north beach for several days. Beautiful water but so was the view from the pool. Again we really appreciate you letting us stay at your house and will definately do it again. Thank you Ashley.

Our first time staying on the island. Have done day trips in the past. House is located on the quiet side of the island. Was peaceful at night. Celebrated my wife’s 50th with friends and family. Accommodations were great for 6 adults. Highly recommend due to the service of the property manager and her team.

We were greeted by the property manager with a beautiful plate of homemade guacamole and salsa! The rooms are very large and bathrooms very large. House manager answered the phone immediately when called and was attentive to our requests. Love that the beach club was 100feet from the door! Only concern: Pool deck is very slippery!

We had a party of 6 and we all fit comfortably in this beautiful home. Everything was clean & tidy. The property manager was always available to answer questions. We were greeted with fresh guacamole & detailed house instructions. The pool was nice & refreshing. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is located on the southern tip of the island and is near many restaurants and shops. The view from our balcony was spectacular and having a private pool was amazing. Our housekeeper, Monica, was very friendly and did a wonderful job on keeping the laundry up and the casa clean. Stacy, the property manager was available and very helpful. A few callouts the water pressure was a little lacking at times and the noise from the Joint restaurant was a bit much. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this place.

My friends and I went to Isla Mujeres to celebrate my 40th birthday and had an amazing time yet again! This island is so much fun with something for everyone. I love staying on the South side of the island and renting a golf cart to get around. We enjoyed this house because of the view, the location and each room has its own bathroom as well as a 1/2 bath on the main floor! We would highly recommend it.

We had such an amazing time here! When we arrived, our jaws dropped. The house is beautiful! We so enjoyed the pool and watching the sunset on the upstairs patio. We couldn't have picked a better place.

We stayed at Casa Mar Azul for 5 days to attend a wedding in Isla Mujeres and couldn't be happier with the experience. We were met by the property manager who greeted us with homemade pico de gallo and guacamole. The rooms were very comfortable with the master bedroom having an amazing view of the water and Cancun in the distance. My kids had a blast in the swimming pool which was perfectly safe for children. The sunset view from the rooftop area is amazing and we had a lot of fun watching iguanas run around in front of the home (they keep their distance). The easy golf cart rental and movement around the island just added to the overall fun during the trip, we were very close to restaurants and beach clubs and only 15 minutes to the main town. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful property and location!
There are 2-3 restaurants within walking distance and a small convenience store that has all the basics (including some beer/liquor) about a block away. The beach club next door is a nice bonus, although prices have risen quite a bit - it's now $10/person.
As others have mentioned, the live music from The Joint is a bit annoying but at least it stops by 9pm.
Everything about the house itself is perfect. It's clean, spacious, well air-conditioned and the pool is a nice bonus.
Ashley was also very quick to respond to any questions. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property was very clean, absolutely beautiful, and the view were to die for. The entire staff was amazing and went above and beyond. Ashley, the owner, was wonderful at answering questions prior to arrival. Stacey, the property manager, answered immediately whenever I called. Omar, greeted us upon arrival with home made guacamole and explained a few things about the property. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the house keepers name, but she was wonderful. She always made sure we had fresh towels and she kept the property spotless. She went above and beyond and washed a few clothes for us. I highly recommend the property! I hope to book it again in the future when we return to Isla.

Everything was as expected other than we were a little disappointed we weren’t allowed to use the washer and dryer ourselves. The listing did say the maid would do laundry for us, so the listing wasn’t deceptive…we just would have preferred the option to do our own laundry if we needed to. Perfect house for the five of us (two couples and a young adult). We enjoyed the neighborhood critters…lots of iguanas to watch and neighbor cats on the adjacent property. This would be a great place to rent for a large group if you also rented the attached residence.

Thank you to Ashley and her wonderful team who welcomed us into their fabulous home! Our family of five had ample room to spread out while having large common space to include all! We especially enjoyed sunsets from the pool and upper deck. Several restaurants were conveniently located. Information provided prior to departure was detailed and contributed to a fabulous time! Stacy, the manager, was there upon arrival and toured us through the many levels and features of the home. She was available to help in any way.

We had a great 3days stay with Family with all the facilities and highlight is having Monica as maid, helping with cleanliness and tidiness.
Close to snorkeling locations and Punta sur is a few minutes walk away. All the restaurants/Groceries are 15 minutes away by bus or Taxi, unless you renting a Golf cart which is expensive on this island. But you can manage with Bus/Taxi.
You have to bear the live music from near by restaurant for 8-9 hours but otherwise, its peaceful.
When it rains, be careful with slippery floor near the pool.
Terrace, Master bedroom views are spectacular.
Host is very responsive and accommodating. Ashley's information booklet at property is very informative and helpful for first time visitors.
We lost two days due to rains, but looking forward for next visit.

16th birthday girls trip
We were a group of seven ladies celebrating my daughter‘s 16th birthday. The house was perfectly set up and had incredible views of the ocean. Our host Ashley and our property manager Omar thought of everything to make our stay incredibly memorable. The island is so much fun and very easy to navigate. A huge thank you to chef Ariel’s amazing group that prepared a wonderful meal for us at the house.

Three nights here was the best way to end our 2 weeks in Mexico. Wish it could have been longer.
We were welcomed to the house with fresh guacamole and pico. That was beyond anything I expected and such a treat! The house was well taken care of and the house keeper came daily to tidy, and took care or our laundry in a very reasonable amount if time. Services that weren't expected but appreciated immensely. Any questions we had or recommendations we needed were answered promptly with helpful information . The whole team went above and beyond and made this a very pampered, thoughtful and memorable experience. I can't thank them enough.

Having bathrooms in all the rooms was nice and the showers were nice and roomy. The air-conditioning worked fast and really good. There was already ice made when we got there, which I didn't realize was such a luxury, but it is. The views from every window and balcony were unbeatable. The pool was maybe a little too warm to want to go in during the day, but great for night swims, with the lights from Cancun in the distance. Amazing!
The location is perfect. Garrafon snorkeling is literally out the front door and across the street, and some really good snorkeling! The Rasta bar is across the street in the back, and the live music can be heard from the rooftop. Was a fun way to watch a sunset. Punta Sur is a short walk or drive down the street. Definitely go early to beat the crowds and the heat. About a 10 minute golf cart drive down the coast to get into town. Nice beaches, food, drinks, shopping, tours and night life available there. Then nice to be able to go back to our quiet private house when we were done.

Relaxed location with gorgeous views
Great experience from start to finish.
The property easily accommodated our 2 groups. The location is within walking distance to Punta Sur, several restaurants/bars and beach clubs. There is even a mini convenience store close by. This part of the island is very different than the hustle and bustle of Playa Norte.
The hospitality staff kept the house tidy each day which was a great bonus. Any questions/concerns we had were easily addressed by the property manager.
Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer.

We had a great stay for a week at this property. The house was clean and very comfortable. We did not have any major issues during our stay and any issues we had were promptly addressed by the property manager. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future.
