property advises that parking requires to be reserved, I tried this the day before to be told it was based on available spaces at time of arrival, when we arrived surprise surprise no parking available requiring getting back in car to find a space in an alternative car park not ideal, hotel should make it clear that it does not have parking and therefore it cannot be reserved

Great location, in very center. Very big and comfortable room.

Surrounding is quite old and ruined, although it is just one street from main street in Santa Cruz. A view from our balcony was quite scary, since we were on 6th floor and from there you can see tops of the other buildings which are ruined and full of rubish.

The room was very spacious and clean. There was a little balcony and a window that opened so lots of fresh air. I travelled with family and requested that our rooms be near each other, this was accommodated and we were given rooms directly opposite each other. The staff were very friendly. The location of the hotel was great with loads of shops, restaurants and groceries near by. Also trams, buses etc. Loved the roof top bar. As it is in the city there were no views to speak of but still a beautiful hotel.

The breakfast was terrible. The tram noise is a nuisance if trying to watch tv, but with the window and balcony door closed you could not hear any of the outside noise. The air con in my room didn't seem to work and I was offered another room, but i had my own portable fan so it was absolutely fine. Would have been nice to have a pool but again due to location it was not an expectation. ONE THING ... but this is nothing to do with the hotel itself.. if you are getting the shared shuttle from the airport it will not drop you to the hotel it will drop you in the main centre and you will have to walk to the hotel approx 10-15 mins depending on your walking speed. This is the same for the return. If you want to be taken directly to the hotel take a taxi but it is expensive.

The rooms are very spacious, the property is maintained well. The staff are polite and helpful

I think the hot breakfast options could have more variety. To many pastries options

Great location. Room is modern and clean. Responsive staff.

Clean, silent place. The room had an electric stove, dishes and a hairdryer.

Hard to find nearby parking. Sofa for 3rd person wasn't comfy.

the club on the floor above the room made it impossible to sleep for two of the nights, when the club was open or still with people shouting and running till 4AM

Very noisy

The location of the hotel is central and close to a tramway station. A good breakfast is available (not included but not expensive and good value for money).

Very noisy until late night (up to around 4 a.m.) especially on Friday and Saturday night during our stay. Even ear plugs did not help much. Don't know if this is every weekend or just when we stayed there. The noise (including loud music and people shouting) may have come from the bar on the top floor.

stayed here second time for one night. As always it was very clean and quiet. love the location - downtown, near parks, shops, restaurants.

parking would be nice, but can live without it.

The rooms were actually quite dusty. As if they had not been properly used or cleaned in a long while.
