My husband and I rented the home so our three kids/significant others/grandchild had plenty of room to come and go. Plenty of space for all. Home has been around a very long time and had plenty of squeaks-but that is part of its charm. Fortville’s main street has wonderful dining and shops and it was wonderful to be able to walk there. Would recommend this property for family gatherings for sure.

Roomy. Nice property. Loved the greeting from the property manager and felt that help would be available if needed, but it was not. Key box was new to us, but we figured it out.

This house was EXACTLY what we needed for our stay in the Fortville area. It was clean and nicely decorated. Very homey. We had the perfect amount of beds and space to enjoy meals and games with family. The host was very sweet and communication was very easy. The house was also VERY well equipped with kitchen items for cooking, baking and eating. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing time! We will definitely stay here again! The entire process, from descriptions of the home, booking our stay, getting into the house, the stay and the departure and communication with the host was super simple! I highly recommend!

Location was great. Short distance to family members and activities going on. I would say the house needs some updating (mainly the kitchen) and the bedrooms would benefit with more drawer space. But overall the house fit our needs and was comfy.

I’ve never rented a whole house for church camp before and it was wonderful! So Nice to take a weeks worth of Clean clothes back home instead of the usual week of dirty ones lol. Very nice, comfy, Clean and quiet neighborhood, safe to walk the dog, nice to grill out and eat on the back porch - and dog friendly besides! Thank you!!

We had a very nice weekend. Our daughter graduated from Anderson university and hotels were crazy over priced. This house was nicely priced and worked great for all of our family that was coming for the ceremony. Everyone’s description of the house was “it feels very homey”. Nothing elaborate but felt like home.

Friends and I were staying, with dogs, for a seminar. The house is nice and we felt welcomed by Angi. The neighbor is super cute, we felt comfortable walking outside at night, we just wish the weather was warmer so we could enjoy the porch.

We really enjoyed our stay and had more than enough room for 5 adults + 2 toddlers. They LOVED hearing and watching the trains! We really loved the close proximity to Main St and the shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Great visit to Fortville. We were in town visiting some friends who live in Indy and celebrating our anniversary. We stayed there with my 3 year old, my husband, and my in-laws. It was a nice little house. The trains were a little loud, but nothing a sound machine couldn't fix

We were traveling to Anderson for a family funeral. The house was wonderful—our 2 grown kids had the upstairs rooms and we had the ground floor room. TV was great, and the large kitchen was comfortable. Thanks for making our stay a good one in spite of the circumstances.

The house itself is cute, but very old. So you can hear every door opening or walk across the wood floors. Hard for trying to be quiet when kids go to bed and adults are still awake. Also, it is RIGHT next to train tracks. You will hear the train come through what felt like a dozen times a day. The train will blare it's horn so there really isn't any sleeping through that. This house could be great for your stay - just depends on what you are looking for and the purpose of your trip.

Perfect Family Getaway
This was the perfect location for our family to get away from everything for a few days. Really enjoyed walking Main Street and visiting the local shops. Libby’s Ice Cream is a must.

Early Thanksgiving trip
We had 10 people staying for 2 nights and there was plenty of room for all of us! My brothers and I drove from Ohio to meet my mom in the middle from Illinois. We prepared a huge Thanksgiving feast and although we did bring additional dishes, utensils and pans, we had plenty of those things all provided. The town of Fortville was very quaint and cute! We wish the weather had been a little bit better so we could explore more, but maybe next time! Although loud, my nephew did enjoy the train nearby! There was a small water issue that did arise while we were there, but one of the owners got back with me very quickly! I would definitely stay again! Thank you for hosting us!!
