Unglaublich!!!
Wer die Einfahrt hoch fährt traut seinen Augen nicht. Ein Indischer Palast mitten in Australien.
Das freistehende Haus mit kompletter Ausstattung im indischen Stil ist mit sehr vielen importierten Stücken ausgestaltet.
Großzügig angelegter Wohnraum mit Küche und weiterer Infrastruktur, das Schlafzimmer mit einer original, historischen Rückwand, Badezimmer mit Whirlpool und 4 Duschköpfen.
Der Service war einzigartig und entsprach 5* Plus. Abends wurden die Betten aufgedeckt und jeder Wusch von den Augen abgelesen.
Frühstück nach Wunsch wird auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert, Indisches Dinner auch dort.
Wir waren 3 Nächte im eigenen Haus, wir hätten noch gerne verlängert.
Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich nett und zuvorkommend, wir hatten das so bisher noch nicht erlebt.
Und dies bei Vielreisenden, wir sind Ü60!!

From the moment we walked in, The attention to detail was second to none and the it was the epitome of luxury. 10/10 on every level. We will definitely be back! Susan and Cliff are very special people who had a vision and saw it through to create a dream!

The location was superb, close to the airport, beaches and hills with easy access to the Gold Coast activities whilst allowing us to come back every day to a peaceful and quiet retreat. The property was amazing with such attention to detail, two spas, huge bedroom and lounge/Kitchen area with a wrap around balcony to be enjoyed. We really felt like we were spending time in an Indian Palace! The architecture, the furnishings, the ambience and the warmest welcome from Cliff and Susan gave us a wonderful week of celebration for our 35th Wedding Anniversary! The views to Kingscliff were lovely and watching the lightening come in over the sea was pretty awesome! We had breakfast every day which was very tasty and all fruit supplied was fresh from the garden, served with a Good Morning smile from our wonderful hosts! We enjoyed an authentic Indian Banquet on our anniversary served with cocktails on the verandah overlooking the breathtaking views and stunning sunset skies. We felt extremely spoiled and so very well looked after. Thank you Cliff and Susan for your amazing hospitality and for sharing your vision with us. We will be highly recommending your property to our friends and hope to visit again sometime soon. XO :-)

This property exceeded my expectations in every way. Susan, Cliff and family have done a magnificent job of creating a warm, private, stunning oasis with cultural and historical respect at the fore. The grounds are beautiful, the room was tastefully and skillfully adorned with interesting handmade and historical items on display. The room has everything you could possibly need for your stay, but if you need anything else, Susan and Cliff will gladly assist. They accommodated my preference for not having alcohol in the room, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I definitely recommend taking breakfast or dinner on the terrace, it is a wonderful experience.

The beautiful house is amazing, the owner is very enthusiastic, and the view of the Gold Coast and the lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house is clean and tidy. There are many free snacks and drinks. The exquisite decoration is fascinating. It is a good place to relax and enjoy. The breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend coming here to experience the beautiful Indian-style big house.

Its architecturally different and mesmerising. The bedroom was a favorite room, just supberb! I like that the photos are accurate and what you see is what you get. High ceilings, big windows and talking point furniture. We had a cold weekend so the fireplace was a real treat.
Its location is in the Suburbs, neighbours are closer than you think but still accessible to Byron and Gold Coast

Absolutely spectacular building with beautiful scenic views toward the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. Location wise, it's only 10 mins or less to Tweed Heads, and about 20 mins to the southern end of the Gold Coast (Burleigh, Palm Beach). Kingscliff is also close by.
We stayed in the Jodha Bai Suite and the facilities were excellent; a well equipped kitchen with all the mod cons, a beautiful ensuite with a massive double shower (4 rain showerheads and a removable handheld showerhead), spa, comfy king size bed (it's firm, but we like that!) with a beautiful Indian bedhead, 2x toilets (one in ensuite and one in the powder room), complementary drinks in the bar fridge and some light snacks as well, that are replenished each day. There were even candles available in the bathroom and bedroom to light to set that romantic mood.
Service was fantastic and the owners Cliff and Susan were very friendly, warm and welcoming and surprised us with a couple of special treats as it was our honeymoon!
Would definitely recommend for high class, romantic getaway that feels special and almost like you could be overseas with all the comforts of being at home!

The suite was majestic and opulent, with every comfort considered and catered for.
The hosts paid so much attention to detail, with candles, bath salts, 3 different varieties of pillows, even down to the sizing of bath robes for my husband and I.
After a long and challenging year, this was restorative, rejuvenating and peaceful.

Jodha bai retreat was a beautiful gifted stay.
With plans to travel OS for a milestone birthday we unexpectedly came across this hidden gem as an alternative and we were not dissapointed.
The level of detail, luxury and oozing Indian ambience was a gorgeous way to celebrate.
Thank-you to the generous hosts that not only provided a relaxed and gorgeous bungalow but shared with us a snip of theyre creative journey. Bravo to you both for following your creative hearts! You have created a one of a kind escape for those looking for something different closer to home!

What a great job replicating Jodha Bai Palace India a you do feel like you are staying at a palace! The owners Cliff and Susan want to provide a 6-star experience and they deliver! Try the breakfast - superb! A unique and fabulous experience which was relaxing - the bath and wonderful 5 head shower will ensure you are chilled- and had the best sleep ever. The gas fire, ambiance, fantastic views and decor just add to the romance! Everything taken care of - Loved it. Great couples retreat - We will be back!

Amazing experience. The retreat that Cliff, Susan, and Brandy have curated makes it feel like you are on a holiday within a holiday. The suite is spacious, clean, unique, and comfy. The kitchen is well equipped, and the ample space means you can curl up with a good book and a wine after day exploring the beautiful Tweed Valley. Could not overstate how highly Jodha Bai Retreat is recommended.
