Great check-in service, lovely room with balcony, great area to sit out at night to grab a sunset and sundowner, room was clean and comfy, great to have a desk to work from in the room, safe always a nice to have.
Lights in the bathroom didn't work.

The staff try hard to make your stay comfortable.
Mercur need to invest in their property. The property hasn't got 'character', it is just tired. Doors stick, plumbing is poor, bathroom fittings broken.

The staff are friendly and helpful.
No value for money, claiming to be a 4 stars hotel is bold statement. Fire hazard and Public health violations all over the place. No feasible transportation in and out, taxis only and on the days with cruises in port you can wait up to 2 hours for a taxi which you will share with 6 other people. Breakfast options are narrowed to only sweets, healthy choices not available. Security in hotel not applicable starting with locks on the room doors and balconies to actual security patrols, cctv system is not exist beyond the check in desk. Honestly I still don't know what they charged me for as price was really overrated compare to service and facilities. Cherry on top was final price with extra city tax to it. Not mentioned at initial booking of course.

Definitely not a 4* more a 2*. Very tired and worn..stained threadbare carpets throughout the hotel. Our room a disgrace dirty curtains, broken toilet seat, the light switch box on bedside cabinet broken with open box showing live wires. Breakfast awful on entering area, the girl couldn't talk because she had her mouth full of food., she then went to her colleague and were talking, totally ignoring us.. the yogurts were warm not refrigerated, the bacon and scrambled egg not covered all dry.,didnt eat anything. I had to go and find the waiters and waitresses to ask for a tea and coffee, there was 3 of them in another room talking, they shouted down the long room for what I wanted. They never came to our table to ask or greeted us on entry. Worse hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in many.

Location.
The bathroom was filthy. The windows hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The shower head was so bad you could only get wet if you held it an inch from your body in the smallest shower cubicle I’ve ever been in on dry land. The beds were hard as nails. In the evening, very loud, thumping music was beamed at our room by the DJ for the birthday party by the pool. It went on until 1.00 am!

Nice property, next to the sea, but quite far away from the port. Large garden around is a plus. Restaurant on site is quite good, both for breakfast and for dinner as well.
Hotel looks a bit dilapidated, needs renovation. Rooms are really small and basic. Quite far from the port, and really difficult to get a taxi around.

No extra charge for mossies and the Mediterranean Sea.
Bad food. Staff doesn' understand a word. Extremely run down. When you have a shower the water flows outside the room. Three times we asked for help. Nothing happened.
Never ever again. I wouldn't board my dog there.

Maximum 2 star hotel. Very very old equipment, mould everywhere in bathroom. Dirty swimming pool and all area. Breakfast? Total catastrophe. Hope I don’t have to visit this hotel again.

The rooms and hotel in general have nothing in common with a 4 star hotel, everything is old, ceramic plates floor, no slippers provided, shower cabin small, old, cabin walls not cleaned...cheap, overall 2 stars hotel...Limited breakfast...the room price exaggerated for the quality provided... It was the most expensive in the city, after entering the room, you feel lied and robbed.

Perfekt Hotel, direkt on the Water, all Rooms are face to the Water. Very friendly Staff, but this Hotel neets a renovation, to get the shine from befor..!!!

The view from the hotel
There are 3 pools but 2 of them are not owned by the hotel. The hotel indicates they have 50% reduction to use them but when you get there you cannot have the nice lawn chairs to lay down. The staff puts you on the exterior side and keeps the nice ones for the full paying customers. There was very little people due to the current situation but they didn't care.
To go into the pools they make you use swimming caps, sold for 3 euros.

Lovely location and perfect for an overnight stay before heading to Citivecchia for a cruise - lovely staff and great sea view!
