CNY Stay

Easy check in. Called the host on whatsapp on arrival and he'll send his staff to open the gate and show you to the unit. Environment felt very safe. Room is very spacious and clean. Garbage bagged and threw outside the unit is cleared daily. No eateries or 7-11 within easy walking distance for my elderlies but normal person can walk about 10 minutes to Pulau Tikus wet market area (can find food during CNY) and about 20 minutes to Gurney Bay (no pedestrian walkway up to Pulau Tikus area, have to walk on roadside). Two dining tables, each can sit 6 pax. Big mirrors in dining area. Lots of hangers and big hanging rack in balcony. Morning sun at balcony. Have conventional stove, electric stove, iron, iron board, washing machine, hair dryer. (Note: the unit my cousin booked does not have washing machine and no gas cylinder for the conventional stove). I thought I read about no towels and toiletries in my booking confirmation but my cousin highlighted that towels and toiletries were stated in listing. Anyway, we brought our own so no issue there.

It has a step down living room, high fall risk for elderlies. TV is small and not smart TV and very few TV/Astro channels (Note: the unit my cousin booked has smart TV). No racks/ledge to put toiletries in shower area (Note: the unit my cousin booked has racks in bathrooms). Lots of mosquitoes in our unit (my cousin's unit didn't have). We bought ridsect to spray the entire room when we went out for dinner.

OK to stay but not for cooking/reunion dinner.

The condominium is spacious. Well maintain and it is clean. Very quiet neighborhood with bungalows. Although it is a condominium , it is Low density. Lift available even with four floors

Facility not so complete. For example, power points not sufficient to run microwave, induction cooker, ventilation concurrently, single sink which makes washing of cooking utensils challenging and not so friendly if you decide to cook. Water filter not functioning properly as it the water dispensed still have very strong chlorine smell.

A pleasant and an enjoyable stay - would recommend.

In general, clean and spacious even for a very large family. Parking inside the premises was a good thing. TV box was also good. Great and easy going host.

Amenities in bathroom - towels were not provided.

Fabulous!

Guarded environment. Definitely very helpful and kind House Owner Mr Ooi. House was well kept and we definitely felt like being at our home. Thank you Mr Ooi. We will definitely return next time.

Good size apartment for 12pax

4 bedded apartment with 3 share toilets. Location near to pulau tikus market and good breakfast place. Host is very friendly and warm. Waited for us to check in even though it was past midnight.

It was spacious, exceptionally clean and well maintained.

There were no rugs in the bathroom. Would’ve been nicer if there are rugs. Was unable to connect to the wifi.

Great holiday with my family.

Location was great. Easy access in and out of apartments. Hosts were kind enough to cater to our specific needs. We booked two apartments and requested to be put on the same floor next to each other, so even though separated it was a great holiday together.

Only thing is that there was no gas in the stoves.

It was so close to everywhere we wanted to go. So, it was convenient

That it had no ensuite toilet. There's no night light. One of the air conditioners was not working. And we had difficulty connecting.

We had a great stay at this spacious, clean and comfortable apartment.

The host, Mr. Okawa was there to greet and took us to the apartment. He explained to us on the facilities, and was very responsive to address our queries throughout our stay.

I received repeated reminder from Isabelle Villa via Booking.com, despite the fact that I had responded to the initial email, to confirm our arrival, yet still got another reminder email even after we have checked in.

The owner was friendly, the place was clean and spacious for 11 to 12 people. The place was in centre of town easy to go all around the city.

One of the room air condition was abit dusty, that was abit annoying as the people slept in that room kept sneezing and had a headache.
