It is in a great location, right across from the beach and a short walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was nice, big and spacious with a big bathroom. The wifi was good. The host Kumara was very friendly and welcoming.

-some problems withe the check inn, because the host was not there and without internet (local Sim) there will be no way to contact him -first we we get the wrong room because nobody was there and an woman from other sides Hotel let us in -after an room change the room was fine, but the first one smells not nice.

This place is perfectly located beside the main road in Mirissa! It has a beautiful ocean view from the balconies and the rooms are really clean and nice. The owner is super great and helpful with everything you need and then price is really good.

We had an amazing stay, Kumara was an amazing host - going above and beyond helping with our visas!! The balcony was a great place to relax after dinner each night.

The hotel is located in an excellent spot with a beautiful ocean view from the balcony. The host and owner Dr Nandita welcomed us very graciously and ensured that we were comfortable. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was happy, safe and productive.

Providing tea / coffee making facilities in the room would be very greatly appreciated by guests

Sailors was clean and comfortable and in a decent location. The owner was really helpful and even ordered us some food to the room when there was a local lockdown. I’d happily stay here again.

Lovely view from the balcony in front of the room on the 3rd floor. Great owner who kept us informed when the power cuts happened in Mirissa so we could plan our day better.

Just a suggestion: would be good to have some soap/hand wash in the bathroom.

Room was spacious and had a desk which was really useful. The Wi-Fi was the best I’ve had in Mirissa which was ideal as I had a job interview during a power cut! the Wi-Fi worked well through the power cut and the hotel even offered me a battery powered lantern for extra light during it. There are basic kitchen facilities to use too. Air-con worked well. Rooftop views from the hotel are nice too.

We stayed here for 6 nights and got a free upgrade to a room with a better view which was amazing! We are super happy with this accumulation, super fresh and clean. With good AC, perfect location and lovely staff we would highly recommend!

The property was directly opposite the beautiful Mirissa beach which had lots of bars and restaurants very close by. The room was simply but was spotlessly clean it had very comfortable big bed, brilliant working air conditioning and fan and super clean shower room. There were chairs and tables outside with a view of the sea on upper floors. The owner was very helpful and kind.

This hotel has a nice location, beach is just across the road. A bus stop is right in front of a building. You can easily hop on a bus 350 and get to Matara, Weligama, Galle and many more. Also if you go outside and turn left, there will be a little fruit market. Also I can recommend you to take a room with a view. It costs a little bit more, but it is worth it. One more recommendation for guests to have earplugs with you since a road is noisy (but most hotels are on this road so it is not a disadvantage) Mr. Kumara is a wonderful host. He tries his best for guests. We had a lot of situations in our trip, and he could always help with advice. Also you can get a transfer to airport for a reasonable price :)

Location is great. Close to the beach. Wifi - good for video calls, working and surfing online. The host was always open to help.

We lived at first floor so some times outside we could see many big ants.

gecko’s (3) in the room , enormous cockroaches, mould on walls and tiny sheets that don’t fit the bed.

the location is perfect,(walking distance to the beach. there are some restaurants around.) the room was big and comfortable. also I want to mention that the staff is amazing. I had a small accident and they helped me in all capacity. I highly recommend Sailors Mirissa
