Spacious central apartment

Spacious, well-furnished and newly renovated. Well-stocked with almost everything one might need. The location is excellent - a quick walk to the main sights and near restaurants and stores, though the building entrance and immediate surroundings are a bit grim.

There are two bathrooms, but both have no separation for the shower, so everything gets wet. There is a moderate amount of street noise at night, but one does not hear it if windows are closed.

Good flat with great potential after some updates

- Konstantina (the host) was very welcoming and really wanted to make sure that our stay was to our liking. She even went the extra mile and had an AC installed as the heat was unbearable. - The location is A+ and right in the heart of Sofia (be aware that it is a big city with a night life). - We did not need to worry about any daily stuff like coffee, tea, sugar, spices, oil etc., everything was provided.

- We did not like the mattresses. We are used to high quality box spring beds at home and were quite uncomfortable. Of course, this is very subjective opinion and not everyone will agree. The mattresses in the kids room are thin and soft and the mattress in the bedroom has hard big springs that you can feel rolling around. We highly recommend an update. - We (parents + kids) need dark rooms for sleeping, which was not given in this flat. For people who like to wake up with bright sunshine, it is perfect. All the night owls need to find a quick fix not to wake up at 5/6 a.m. in the morning (e.g. aluminum foil). We recommend to update the curtain situation with a dual system (light curtains and blackout curtains)

Very comfortable nicely refurbished flat, perfect location!

Perfect location, great for stepping out and exploring Sofia on foot. Some amazing places to eat and fantastic bars too. The flat itself has been refurbished very tastefully with spacious kitchen/living area and spacious master bedroom en-suite. There is a second bedroom and WC shower room. Didn't use the kitchen but it is fully functional with utensils, pots/pans/plates glassware, etc. Nice period features - the wooden floor, front door. It's warm and cosy. The flat is lose to the iconic 'small 5 corners' spot in Sofia (essentially five small old streets meeting at a roundabout), which is a pretty vibrant/artistic area with nice pubs and restaurants. I also recommend booking your airport-to-centre taxi service on this website as it was very convenient, cheap and reliable (it's a meet-and-greet service so it's really hassle-free). I'd definitely stay here again!

Great stay. Great communication with the host.

Service and location perfect! . A lovely flat. A lovely neighbourhood. Shower a bit too powerful. Adjust if I was you as both showers soak everything at the moment. The front door to the flat. Graffiti is a problem I understand but a coat of paint every so often will make it much more welcoming. Great stay. Thank you

Lovely place and owner, but some issues that really impacted on our stay

We had no hot water and the water pressure in the showers reduced to a drip quite quickly- not enough water to properly shower. There was no light in the stairwell making it dangerous when hauling luggage up the stairs. There was no cooling of any sort and it was uncomfortably hot trying to sleep.
