The welcome was very warm. I felt safe. Shaka is just made for this job. Excellent at customer care.
Loadshedding disturbed my study time. I did not really like my breakfast because I was eating the same thing every single day so it got boring after two days. It looked like there was a challenge in accomodating a vegetarian but what is advertised online is that vegetarians and vegans are catered for. Shaka got me soy milk on the second day which is very much appreciated, however, more of vegetarian breakfast would have been excellent considering I stayed for six nights.

Didn't spend much time there, but the stay was very pleasant.

The place is not well run or managed. I don't recommend it to anyone.
The staff member was very unprofessional and Communication was bad. They advertised breakfast but there was no breakfast offered. Breakfast was prepared for certain ppl. Hygiene levels could be better. The place is stale and unwelcoming, I suggest they invest in good diffusers etc. The linen was not good either. As I said, Avoid Avoid

I liked the tranquility of the area. It's free of disturbances and the house manager is engaging and very helpful.
The breakfast could have been better. It was very little and not appetising. Used the same bedding for 5-days and the room were not cleaned for the duration of our stay. The kitchen and cooking utensils needed thorough cleaning. The swimming pool, too, should be cleaned.

Due to an error on Booking.com's part, the fact that the bedroom had a separate bathroom was not communicated, so we were angry to find this out on arrival. The room (No.5) pictures show a shower; this is misleading. It was only on the 3rd day that the manager found out it was not our fault. To be fair, he gave us a 4th night free. Breakfast was mediocre. Curtains were so thin, the room was flooded with sunlight from daybreak. Mattresses were old and lumpy. Fridge didn't work; finally replaced on 3rd day. One bedside lamp without lampshade. Door didn't fit, had to bang it because of faulty hinges; told the guy on site. Finally my husband mended the door with a swiss army knife's screwdriver. This house is on a noisy junction, traffic from 6am.
