I loved the quirkiness of the building. It was in an excellent location, very clean, and great for one night.
If I had to say anything, it would be better if the toilet was inside, and a power point in the bathroom. Other than that, I really loved the place.

Such a lovely little cottage. Private, quiet, clean and well appointed. Very comfy bed. Gorgeous little garden.
We will definitely be coming back.
The chimney needs sweeping - I couldn't keep the fire going.
Could do with a wider range of pillow sizes.
It would be nice to have a lock on the cottage side of the door at the top of the stairs.

Excellent location. Right in the centre of town on the mainstreet. Being at the back of a shop though, you don't get any street noise at all. The apartment is very quaint. Loved the bath and the comfy bed. Also loved the dog friendly courtyard.
Just be aware that there is no kitchen. There is a microwave and a fridge. This served our needs fine but other travellers may find this inconvenient. Tenterfield dining options with a dog on a Monday night were very limited.

The apartment was cosy, cleverly decorated to create a strong feeling of the past, but with modern comforts like two smart tv’s. Loved Rebecca Conduit’s artwork on the walls!! Had a very London terrace vibe with the little back garden.

Very convenient in centre of town, close to creek walks, great space with outdoor area to have our dog. Also loved the historical quirkiness and blend of old and new fittings and historical items and evidence of earlier use as store-keeper quarters.
Overall really liked it, but could be set up better for basic snacks and cooking, and making coffee. TV in main room would also be good.

Loved the hot bread
The distance from car park to cottage wish could have parked closer

The accomodation was very quaint and just what we wanted for a getaway. It was private and quiet, yet super close (short walk) to everything you would need. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Lovely authentic bathtub!
I am not sure how much I would like to go outside to go to the toilet in the middle of winter. It was not an issue in April, and very clean and well-appointed.

it’s historical decor, the place was equipped with all that we needed and it was clean and comfortable. the little garden.
Lady in shop was not welcoming and rather short with her instructions. Can the bath be jiffed so it looks cleaner? otherwise we just loved it and would return again.

we booked this accommodation last minute as a one night stay, the location is extremely handy to everything, however you do get noise from trucks on main road and rubbish truck early morning.
comfy bed, beautiful historic building.
- the price does not reflect the standard/comfort of the property.
- front door lock needs attention, it’s extremely hard to turn
- no coffee machine/robes as per description.

Loved the character, history and quirky decor of this property. Excellent location, comfortable for a warm season one night stopover.
The bathroom/toilet layout (this was accurately described in property description up front). There is minimal prep space for tea/coffee making or meals.
6.0
Authentic and very close to town.
Expensive for what you get, toilet is outside, kitchen facilities are very sparse.

The bed is super comfy and the place is full of character. Great location and easy parking - you can drive up to the gate. Lovely garden.
No cover over the walkway to the outside loo & we were staying during torrential rain.
Very limited kitchen facilities.

the bed, so comfy!
needs more bench space and for an above average rate per night should have better kitchen set up

lovely and quaint. right behind Main Street so very accessible yet very quiet. bed is amazingly comfy! loved the garden area for our pooch - was nice to be able to sit outside and have our wine and our coffee.
Wasn’t sure about the loo before we stayed but it was all fine. would probably move the shower into the loo building and have that whole area as a sitting area/kitchen.
would have been good to have the tv in the living area but that is a small thing.

Great central location, beautiful rustic charm, neat and tidy, along with a beautifully well kept garden. We spent most of our evenings outside having dinner/ drinks on the provided tables and chairs.
