Staffs are very friendly and always help. The property is very silent. For those looking for rest, this is a great place. The room is also very clean.

Food was great, bed gave us both backpain, there was an awful smell in the hallway, and yet most of the staff were very friendly :)

Nice location for walking, good wifi, rather good shower and foog breakfast.

The beds were a bit on the hard side and the room a bit small (full with bed, desk, chairs, table, etc)

The younger staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel location was convenient.

This was the least welcoming stay in 3 weeks. The restaurant was dirty, unkept and because we do not speak German we were shuffled into a corner. Others guests had reservations for the best tables but we were not offered the opportunity to make them. Smoking is allowed on the balcony and in the garden so other people's smoke blows in your open bedroom window. Little soundproofing, we heard normal conversation from the next room. We definitely had better value for money elsewhere.

For a family weekend we were looking for a hotel in the countryside of the Eifel region. On the edge of town surrounded by forest this hotel met our demands. Upon arrival the sun came out so we got our first beer on the cosy terrace. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with free WIFI, nice buffet style breakfast and a la carte dining options, bar area. Intimate feeling, not a massive setup. Several hiking options start from nearby Saint Martins hut (look for the signs outside or ask at reception). Cochem, Koblenz and other places of interest (Nürburgring, Monreal) within easy reach. We enjoyed visiting Vulkan brewery in Mendig. Enjoyed our weekend !

Great beds, very quiet rooms, very dark rooms, great coffee at the restaurant and atmosphere.
