Great basic room.

Loved the location as it was only 5 min walk into the city center. The room was spacious and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. The 4 poster bed was comfortable. Tea, coffee and milk sachets on arrival were nice. Hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all provided. Washing up liquid and tea cloth if you wanted to wash glasses and mugs. Plenty of storage cupboards for luggage. Sockets were plenty to charge phones. Wifi worked well. The views were lovely from room 5 out over the city. The owner responds quickly to messages via booking.com

No fridge, we always take milk and cold drinks when staying away for more than 1 night. I always choose a place that lists there is a fridge for this reason. We did query this as it was listed on the facilities the owner responded quickly explaining that they had only just put the room back together and we're waiting for the fridge to arrive. He offered to put our things in the fridge upstairs but this wouldn't have been practical for us to keep asking for our milk and drinks throughout the evening. The towels were very hard. Small detail I know but very rough. The shower isn't very big and quite a step to get in and out. The sofa in the room is small and you couldn't sit comfortably on it together for an evening to watch TV so if this is your plan then this room wouldn't be for you.

Very good

The location was fantastic. Everything walkable and historic spots nearby. The apartment is a lovely size with all amenities.

I hadn't realised it was an apartment and as such there was no communal space, servicing etc. This wouldn't prevent me staying again but needs consideration.

Would definitely stay again. Fab location.

Parking and easy access to town, 10min stroll, Fab location. Clean comfy room with good view. The late check out of 11am was good, gave you time to walk into town for Breakfast.

Needed more tea and milk.

The windows could not close properly and we could hear the traffic quite well. It was also cold in the room because the windows could not close.

Pleasant

Good location, beautiful building, great view.

Cold room, the bed was in front of the radiator and the room didn't warm up, we could feel the cold air coming through the drafty windows. The shower room was tiny. It was meant to be a family Christmas treat, we were so cold and disappointed.

Comfy and convenient

Last time we stayed the building had kitchen in each room - we brought food to cook on Friday night but couldn’t - could the owners make it clear on website that the kitchen no longer exists ? - this would prevent any misunderstanding for retuning guests (trip adviser reviews mention kitchen as well - so could confuse people )

Wrong room.

Location was good and parking very handy

I had paid extra for a room with a view, but I was given room 2 which definitely did not have a view. On looking at the envelope containing the invoice I noticed Room 3 had been changed to Room 2. Room 3 is at the back of the property and has views over Bath Abbey. I queried the room with the owner who told me I had been given the correct room but offered no explanation as to why the room had no view or why the invoice envelope had been changed. If the owner is correct then Room 2 is being falsely advertised as having a view which it does not.

Disappointing

The Location was great, the greeting was ok. It was a nice clean.

Towels, clothes storage (no chest of draws) more tea due to the length of stay, mattress topper or similar, softer bed sheets. It felt a little cold ( not as in heating) it lacked art work, rugs and home from home. We didn’t get the Wi-Fi code or if there was one? It wasn’t passed on. The outside didn’t reflect the inside.

Very good

Large room, cosy with great views over to the Abbey. Great to have mini kitchen and free parking. Compared to city centre locations quiet at nights yet it's only a 10 minute walk to the Abbey. The Bird,Bath is handily placed for first night dining. Great for canal and river walks. Would definitely recommend.

We had a very relaxing stay, the location was perfect for what we wanted to do and very comfortable.

Great location for easy walking access into the city. Having parking there is a real bonus. The location is quiet and the room was very comfortable.

It would be nice to have fresh milk left in the fridge (or the choice of dairy free for those who can't take dairy) but everything else was perfect.

Very clean, good reception and great location with parking. Tea, coffee provided and plenty of space in the room.

We had an apartment which had a full kitchen, unfortunately the oven and grill had been disconnected and no utensils. I wished they'd said before. We'd still have gone but not brought the food items we did.
