Good location , comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Rooms a little tired but v good value and couldn't really expect more for a budget hotel.

Dated 1970s room decor. Premier Inn in UK would have more comfortable and modern room at same price.

The most unfriendly staff I've ever experienced in my life. I could forgive the zero knowledge of any other language than French, but her unkindness, rudeness and indifference were out of this world. The hotel has a good location, it's near the train station and not too far from the ferry, but the lady at the reception will definitely prevent me from coming here ever again. Good luck!

Located in proximity to city pedestrian centre. Room had a kettle for a hot drink. Easy access back to ferry port. Facility to store my bike safely. Tremendous breakfast choice and selection. Less expensive than I would have expected. Overall great value and a nice hotel. Popular with other cyclists, and can well understand this.

I was travelling alone with my pet . We arrived very late in the evening and the receptionist asked me if I wanted to pay also for breakfast next morning. Before accepting, I told him I could purchase it only if the dog was allowed with me since, as a solo traveller, there was no one else to look after him. He said “yes no problem” so I paid 9.50€ for next morning breakfast and went to sleep. The day after, ready for breakfast, the “new” receptionist told me i could not have breakfast with my dog, even if the night before they said “you can”. So after debating for solid 5 minutes and asking for a refund, I go out with the dog and find breakfast elsewhere. When I get back to the hotel I ask again for the refund. At that point the receptionist tells me that she can arrange the table outside but I respond that was too late and I already had my breakfast (before she said i could not have it and she did not offer any alternatives), so then she said she could not offer a refund. Basically, I gave them extra 9.50 € for nothing and felt I was treated a bit poorly considering I was in the middle of a very long solo travel and to sit and have breakfast would have helped.

The room is clean and comfortable enough. For a budget hotel, I'd say it's good. There was good wifi in the room, everything worked well, and there were complimentary bathroom products.

There's nothing to really detract from the hotel. Of course, it does not have swimming pool etc., but it's a budget hotel!
