About this condo rental
Your stay at Studio 5a is on the ground level of a 2 story home. You have full and private access to the the studio and courtyard. The drive is shared with the owners. Owners are a quiet professional couple that live upstairs. We are available as required to provide information about the local area and assist with any requests you may need, but we respect the privacy of our guests. A couple of things to please note: the bedroom has a double bed, for those of you used to a king size bed, please consider! Also, in the interest of creating a space where guests can relax and enjoy the Kapiti Coast, no television is provided, however, here is unlimited WiFi if you wish to bring your laptop. Chess set and playing cards available. Strictly non-smoking. The beaches are in easy walking distance from the studio. The studio is accessed through a private courtyard and includes a bedroom with a double bed and cotton/linen bedding with seasonal duvets, electric blanket, and an open plan lounge/kitchenette with small dining/work space. Dining table with two chairs: space for laptop or board games. The courtyard includes a gas BBQ for cooking and outdoor seating. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, slow cooker, electric frypan, toaster, jug, crockery, French press and cutlery included plus a small fridge. Kitchen hob available and full range of quality cookware can be used on the outdoor gas BBQ. Bathroom includes toilet with tiled shower and artisan soaps/quality shampoo and body wash. The Studio is best suited for a single traveller or a couple sharing a double bed. A light breakfast with museli, milk, coffee, and tea available upon check in. Free Wi-Fi and blue tooth speaker provided. Phone service coverage varies by provider. There is plenty of free on street parking in front of the property . We are fully vaccinated and respect distancing. To this effect, you have ease of access with contactless check in and check out. We arrived at the studio after a 10 hr drive from Auckland. Very well furnished, and the seaside walks readied us for our ferry ride two days later. Kim and Chris were gracious hosts, and took immediate care of tree debris during a rare (and fun for us) summer storm. They also provided a bonus beverage!

We had a fantastic stay at the studio it was super clean and well appointed. The bed and furniture was comfortable and of a high standard. The books in the Library were fascinating and we really enjoyed them. The hosts were easy to deal with throughout. A great place, well worth it.

Great little place to stay. The pros, tidy, warm, private, good shower, good bed and everything you need in the kitchen and more i.e. toaster, kettle, herbs spices. Cons, this not a biggy but the only negative thing I can say is the on street parking - but I didn't actually ask the owner if I could use the drive, but may pay to ask this question 🙂. Otherwise, very good and we'll be back!
Also worth mentioning - some rather neat eating places very near by and beach access for walking l, great coffee and food in Raumati social club and the Cantina.

We loved our stay at the Studio. It is picture perfect, comfortable, well equipped and the location is excellent. We loved the cozy courtyard with excellent BBQ. I highly recommend the studio. You wont be disappointed!
