Voornamelijk teleurgesteld in het terras

- De locatie - Netheid kamer

- Het terras - De badkamer - Communicatie met personeel Een paar dagen voor onze aankomst vroegen we om 1 dag minder te kunnen blijven. We kregen geen reactie op dit bericht. Bij aankomst was er niemand aan de receptie. De persoon die kwam, sprak geen woord Engels. Via een vertaalapp zei ze ons dat we alsnog de volle pot moesten betalen. We kunnen dit begrijpen, maar houden toch een beetje een wrang gevoel hieraan over. We sliepen namelijk 1 nacht minder... De receptie was het grootste deel van de tijd onbemand. We zagen af en toe verschillende personen, maar ze spraken geen woord Engels. Jammer... De kamer was proper en werd dagelijks schoongemaakt, tenzij anders gevraagd. De badkamer kende echter wel een paar gebreken. De handdoekdrager was stuk en op het plafond stond schimmel. De douche was ook zeer basic. Wat we wel echt jammer vonden, waren de veranderingen aan het terras. Een deel van het gebouw lijkt verkocht te zijn aan Samsung. Dit heeft als gevolg dat het hotel van buitenaf minder zichtbaar is. Maar wat we zeer jammer vonden, was de staat van het terras. Je kan nu geen uitzicht meer hebben over de stad, want alles is afgeschermd door reclameborden van Samsung. Onze verwachtingen van op de foto's werden dus niet ingelost. We hadden dan ook geen zin om in ons hotel te ontbijten. Het zou fijn zijn als de foto's zouden worden aangepast naar de huidige staat. Want door de oude foto's werden foutieve verwachtingen geschept.

Excelente opción en Santa Cruz

Habitaciones cómodas, ubicacion excelente muy cercana al puerto, muy buena limpieza y el personal muy amable. Excelente relación calidad-precio

Location is excellent and right by the pier.

There were cockroaches in the rooms and the Wi-Fi didn’t work for the majority of the time.

Great value for money.clean.safe.top location

-Booked a room for 1. and got huge 3 Bed room -Refrigerator in the room very practical ( you wanna have ot for drinks, restaurant take out. Leftovers etc. because its in General very expensive there ) -very clean -comfy bed -felt very safe -great balue ffor money -no bugs -perfect location, just by ferry port and main street but not a “first row” so also quiet -very nice ( but not english speaking ) Staff

Its not a 5star resort obviously but its really all N you need there. I was Disappointed by a rooftop Tarace, not very nice but good enough for a smoke Would be great if more staff members could speak english

Nice place

The location is perfect and the rooms have a nice balcony which is ideal for getting some fresh air plus you get some fresh water always.

The breakfast could be better.

Nice hotel in a convenient location

The staff at Costa del Pacífico is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace is great! The hotel is conveniently located in town, not far from the ferry terminal, restaurants, and other attractions. It's a good price for what you get.

The rooms are a bit cramped.

Well located but very loud, can hear everything on the street

They decorated our bed wonderfully for our honeymoon. They had water available for us to refill and they were well located from the ferry port

It is super loud as the windows cannot be shut more but you feel like you are on the street with loud motorbikes and screaming kids

after my stay I booked again the same place for 2 nights, but on Airbnb. it seems they don’t have some system to manage the bookings or don’t even bother to check the different places for the reservations, as they wrote me in the evening before my stay they could not accommodate me and provided reservation in another place. the reason stated was the AC broke and the bathroom also, which to me seemed a bit suspicious if not straightforward lie! as I could see the place available on booking, but only for the seeding night. it seems there was also a price difference, hence they preferred not to honor my reservation. I don’t like such practices, hence I cannot recommend this place!

Cheap place in perfect location if you're on a budget

The location is really good. Just a block from the main road and near the port. The bed was comfortable. The price is good for what you get, compared to the other hotels in Puerto Ayora. It's fine if you are only staying for one or two night.

Our room was very small. The bathroom was extremely tiny and the drain made it smell often. They made the beds every day but it didn't seem like they cleaned the bathrooms because the soap dispenser was never restocked. The shower also had mold in it. The facilities could definitely use some remodeling.

Very central location right at the port and close to most restaurants. The Wifi worked well most of the time. Good place when traveling on a budget.

Staff was friendly and let me check In earlier. Location is good, very close to dock and restaurants

I booked room with a balcony and got one with a very small window overlooking the wall with no day light at all. I can hear all noises from outside, but the biggest problem was some sort of device outside that was working very loud like a huge machine next to your window. I couldn’t sleep at all. Checked out one day earlier

The breakfast was ok. The location is central but not coastal.

Staff was not around for support and the facility seemed to be blended it with the owner house, creating a rustic but not very professional environment.

Good value

It was close to town but not too close. Free water was a really nice bonus..and cold! The ladies up front were always helpful and kind with any questions we had even in our limited spanish. Tha is for the great stay!
