This is a great hostel and looks like the nicest one in the area. The common area is clean and has super cute cats that roam around. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room was bigger than I expected.
I was surprised how far the beach was from the town (about a 25 minute walk). Just something to keep in mind if you're planning to surf. Could easily rent surf boards from just across the street and they shuttle you down to the beach. If you're not coming to this area to surf, there isn't much else going on.

Second time staying here and it is even better than I remember. Love the energy here and always meet cool, friendly people who represent the Dulan vibe. Outstanding value for money and everything I could ask for at a hostel. Looking forward to staying here again. The manager was really helpful and nice.

Steps away from Dulan B bus stop. Super close to sugar factory AKA night concert spot.

the decor is great. Plus, breakfast is provided. However, AC is not open during the day, only from 10 pm to 8 am. It was hot when I was there.
please allow traveller to use the AC when they need.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Very welcoming to our puppy. Provided fresh fruit, tea, and coffee every morning along with toast.
The best part, of course, is the "vibe". Super laid back, awesome artwork on the walls, and filled with social people hanging out in well designed common areas.
Nearly everything was perfect. I suppose the bed could have been a little firmer.

Always positive experiences with great people that run the hostel, and is always a very chill vibe. The hostel is ideally situated on the main street close to everything including a short walk to the beach. Also, the host provides some pretty good coffee along with fresh fruit and toast in the morning.

The staffs and the owner Nick are all friendly and helpful.
I didn't expect they had a little Christmas dinner gathering, and felt warmness when entering the hostel and was asked to join everyone, making the Christmas' Eve of my Taitung solo trip special.
I love the chill vibe and decor of the hostel. Many places to chill. And love that it has a bunch of different instruments for people to play with. Also love the two cute Kitties there.
The hostel is quite clean.
Bed is simple but comfortable and all equiped. Curtain, bed lamp, electrical sockets.
Good location around Dulan.
It's a shame there is a rooftop with nice view but hasn't been made good use of.
A bit moldy smell in the room when the window was closed and the AC was on the first night I stayed but they have used fan to help with ventilation in the morning and it helps. The smell was better that next day.

You can see people laying on the bed right in front of the hostel like literally right by the main road.
Everyone is super chill and layback.
The location is right next to the bus stop, even if you don’t have car, it’s easy to arrived by bus.
Atmosphere is awesome.
