Castlereagh Cottage is an older style home with original kitchen and bathroom which are yet to be updated. Offering free high speed Wi-Fi which is perfect for the 55 inch smart TV which you can log into your own streaming services. Castlereagh Cottage is a comfortable place to stay for whatever occasion. The cottage can accommodate up to 7 guests and is located in a quiet, leafy, tree lined street. The cottage has a 3.5kw reverse cycle air conditioner in the front lounge area and another 6kw split system in the large bedroom to the rear of the cottage with ceiling fans in all bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Alfresco sitting area in the back yard with a large wind out umbrella provides a space to relax also. Bed layout is as follows - Bedroom 1 has 1 x Queen sized bed Bedroom 2 has 1 x single bed and 1 x double bed Bedroom 3 has 1 x Queen sized bed There is also a fold away cot available Note: If a booking is made for 1 guest, only 1 bed is to be slept in, if 2 guests are booked, a maximum of 2 beds can be slept in and so on. Extra beds that are used beyond the number of guests staying will be charged at a rate of $30 per night. Bedroom 3 to the rear of the cottage has its own television and lounge suite where you can sit and relax and there is also a desk with a lamp at the window which makes a great study area or just a place to write or work at. There are comfy lounges and an open functional kitchen with all you'll need to self cater. Unfortunately there is no dishwasher so its old school washing up I'm sorry. Linen and towels are provided. There is a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board in the outside laundry which is available for guest use. Castlereagh Cottage is literally 5 minutes walk to the Turvey Tavern where within the same shopping complex you'll find various restaurants (Pizza, Indian and Cafe food). There is a Foodworks Supermarket, Butchery, Bottle Shop, Hair Dresser, Post Office, Laundromat and Chemist. A Chinese Restaurant is also located across the road from the complex. Older style home that has been updated well. Beautiful original artworks adorn the walls, and kitchen and bathroom are well stocked. Stayed during a very warm spell, and cooling was great. Cooler was left on prior to check-in. Very thoughtful and appreciated

Was an absolutely lovely stay. Troy was very quick to respond to messages and provided a very homely and welcoming home. Loved the little touch of providing a binder which highlights things to do in Wagga in places to eat.

I stayed with my mother and my 2 children. The house is older style with no updates but it’s clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Good yard for our 2 dogs but there are neighbors’ dogs on all 3 sides so there was a bit of barking.

She's an old cottage. Can be cold, but the heating does the job. Troy's fantastic to communicate to and the cleaners do a great job. I've stayed many times and always been happy. If you want fancy, book something else, but if you want suitable and does the job, book the cottage. I'll be back.

It was a very clean homely house. I stayed here with my partner to visit my 6 year old daughter. The house is the perfect layout and had all cooking utensils for us to enjoy cooking our meals together. The backyard was perfect for the 3 of us to play soccer and have fun out there.
Overall, all 3 of us felt instantly comfortable in this beautiful house. I would without any hesitation stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Wagga stay in this well located, charming home.

Lovely property extremely well equipped with books games movies and kitchen utensils.Heaters and lights were on to greet us which was very inviting
The only thing disappointing is the very dated bathroom and shower…only 1 toilet for a home that can accommodate 7

Online listing of house was spot on. So glad we chose this house for our week long visit to Wagga Wagga for CSU intensive prac week. So many little extras on arrival so we didn’t have to rush to the shops.

The cottage met all our needs and our host had kindly left the heating and lights on for our arrival, which was very thoughtful.

Troy was communicative, the kitchen well equipped, the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the backyard and the location was handy to the sporting fields and shops that we utilised during our stay. My only recommendation is that the exposed pipes in the shower had never been seen by my children before and they didn't realise (nor did I point out) that the hot water pipe gets burning hot. This is certainly not a criticism- but rather a 'be mindful'. If we return to Wagga for sport, we will be hoping to stay here again.

We loved it. Nothing fancy it was nice..Heating and cooling covered.Beds comfy.Good yard for the dogs. It’s a homely older house with older kitchen and bathroom. We were visiting our daughter at uni and this was perfect for us. If your looking for 5 star accomodation you might like to look elsewhere and wear the extra costs along with it

Very comfortable with a lot of thought given to stocking the house with books, games, kitchen equipment, BBQ, warm blankets etc. Only things missing were an electric beater and frying pan flipper. With 3 double beds, a single bed, and large sofas, a perfect place for family to stay. Will be back!

We visited Wagga Wagga to help our son relocate for Uni. Castlereagh Cottage was very easy and convenient for us. It was close to everything, quiet and comfortable after busy days helping our son.

The house was as advertised. Met all of our expectations. The property manager was very responsive to requests. Great location, rooms are a good size and comfortable. The ac/heat worked very well. Can get hot in Wagga in the summer. We would stay here again.

We loved this home with its lovely air conditioners and cool decor, since the outside temperatures were sky high. The street is a quiet one, ideal for those who value their sleep. It also had a comfortable mattress on the bed, a huge TV and a host that made sure we had everything we needed, from washers and towels to shampoo and cornflakes!

A lovely cottage feel, surprisingly spacious and so near to local shops and just 10 minutes from the city centre - Wagga has so much to offer the weary traveller and this cottage was just the place to stay.Had a great time and met all our expectations.

The house is 3 bedrooms and would be large enough for most families. It’s very clean very well organised and functional. The Neighbours were fine and nil issues. The tv was great with Netflix and decent wifi. The property is a gem. Parking off street. Easy check in. Troy is easy and accommodating via text. Yes I recommend this property.

Property as described. If you’re after 5 stars, then Castlereagh Cottage may not be for you as kitchen and bathroom are original but perfectly adequate and add a certain charm. However, if you’re looking for an affordable, pleasant and comfortable stay in a quiet area where your pets are accommodated then Castlereagh Cottage is ideal. There was some staples in the cupboards which we were invited to use. Troy was a great host - quick responses and extremely helpful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend.

when we arrived to the property my caregiver noticed that the backyard still had dog poo from the previous holiday makers. we told the owner. He then asked me how many dogs do we have, which is nine we are not going to hide it, he then blatantly told us that if had known that he would of never allowed us to book the place, which was very upset to me as I suffer from a brain injury and mental health issues, if it wasn’t for my carer i think i would of harmed myself. As my dogs are my life they give me strength to go on in life. I did tell the own that we have dogs but he said that i didn’t. tell him, he than reply that we are not allowed to have the dogs in the house which we knew that and made out that we left the house we fur on the coach which the dogs never went on. My carer explain to the owner that he has up set me and my mental health went down because of that. I feel that the owner doesn’t care. Also we got no thank you for cleaning the dishes, washing the towels and making sure that there was no dog poo left in the backyard. Also if you do that your dog down the backyard isn’t secure, anyone can walk in and steal your dog, my carer had to go and buy a pad lock to make sure no one can come in and steal our dogs. Bathroom is not disability friendly at all. Besides this we had a wonderful time

This was a very comfortable and clean property. It was well-equipped and well-located. Although an older house, it has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished. We had a great stay and would definitely come again if we were in the area.
