Wonderful staff who supported us a lot. Great location.
Would be nice if the dining area was more popular. I know this is hard to do but they have a perfect situation to expand this.

The location
Poor check-in: we were offered a room lower than the one we booked and in another hotel close-by. We required to be in the Garden Cottage, which was finally easily accepted. Maybe this move was to offer us a room as we were early checking-in but it was not clearly explained so we didn't understand.
On the final day, a tuktuk was booked by the hotel to take us to the bus station (10min) and we were charged twice the price for such a trip, after negotiation.

Breakfast was good and delicious. The location was a great place for a holiday. Peaceful environment and friendly staffs. Specifically the owner was more like a friend than an owner.šš

the location is very close To main point. the people are super kind and help you with everything. they also speak very good English. the garden is very nice :)

Pleasant place not far from beach. Restaurant right in the hotel. Surf board renting place, clothes store (including surfers clothes) and the grocery store is near. Very convinient

Easy access to the beach and close to the best places to eat in Arugam Bay. Our room was big and comfortable, the staff was so sweet and helpful for arranging a scooter and giving us tips in the area. Flo, the restaurant, is also good. Itās so good value for the price!
Our room was moldy, but thatās something common in Sri Lanka coast. Turning on the AC reduces the humidity, so itās not a big deal.

The main point for surfers is quite far away

Mosquito nets were set for us. Air conditioning was ok, not "killing" you in the head if turned on and set right.
No Sri Lankan breakfast available in restaurant. Not an issue, because you can jump across the road and solve this. But don't book with breakfast as we did. My mistake.

Nice 2 nights with good rest and tasty food from restaurant. Chef is really good. Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing time at this accommodation with the nicest people. the room was super comfortable and clean and spacious with a cute balcony. the belonging restaurant has super tasty meals and they are all very kind. we also recommend the surf shop called Bonza surf shop right next to the hotel and the shop next to bonza surf shop where you can find all the essentials for a good stay. the beach is just across the street and a lot of restaurants are near by.

The rooms are quiet (even during the day) - they are shielded from the main road by the restaurant.
Each room has a nice sitting area in front of it.
Hard to avoid bringing in sand (true for the whole Arugam Bay though).
2022-crisis specific: no backup generator to power the AC during power cuts

Fantastic location, near everything you need is very close by. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable and the wofo was good

The BEST accommodation in Arugam Bay. The owner is super nice and friendly and the room is just the most comfortable we had in our hole stay in Sri Lanka. Just beautiful. And the breakfast in the restaurant was also really good!
