This spacious 4 bedroom home has main with ensuite. kitchen, dining family, and separate lounge. Has all the mod cons and is walking distance to the waters edge, minutes drive to the town centre and jetty. The Boat house is a great base from which to explore what Kangaroo island has to offer. A couple of days just isn't enough!!! The Boat House is situated in Kingscote, 2 streets back from the beach. Kingscote is a great little town, with lovely views, terrific fishing, an great stepping stone to head off to all the wonderful locations Kangaroo Island Has to offer. Beautiful Beaches Penguin and Pelican Tours Island Behive Honey Tours and Tastings KI Marine Centre Sea Tidal Pool Ferguson Australia Seafood Outlet Historic Museum Bay of Shoals Winery - Cellar door tastings and sales Fishing Charters Boat Ramp Great Jetty Fishing Golf Course Yacht Club Souvenir/gift/surf/toy shops Flinders Chase National Park (Admirals Arch, Remarkable rocks)Kingscote is a beautiful town with so much to offer. Lovely views, terrific fishing and lots of wild life to see. The Accommodation This property sleeps up to 10 adults. MASTER BEDROOM with ENSUITE has a queen size bed, bed side tables, lamps, alarm clock and build in mirrored robes. SECOND BEDROOM has a double bed, bedside table, lamps, and alarm clock & built in robes. THIRD BEDROOM has 2 x king single beds and built in robes. FOURTH BEDROOM has 2 x Bunk beds. FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN with breakfast bar, full size fridge/freezer, stainless electric oven and cook top, microwave, toaster , kettle, pots, pans, serving dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils glassware, CD player/radio. OPEN PLAN LOUNGE & DINING has comfy L shaped lounge to lay around and relax, TV, DVD player, coffee table. Large dinning table. SECOND LOUNGE with 2 x 2 seaters is a great place to escape an read a book while over looking the native birds in the garden outside. BATHROOM has a full size bath and Shower, toilet, vanity, & mirror. LAUNDRY has washing machine, iron, ironing board & old maid. Clothes Line out side, pegs supplied. SITUATION & FACILITIES Attractions include: Beautiful beaches, Penguin an Pelican Tours, Island behive Honey tours and Tastings, KI Marine Centre, Sea Tidal Pool, Museum, Fishing/ Charters, Boat Ramp Golf course, Yacht Club Local Conveniences: Servo, Liquor outlets, 7 Day Supermarket, Local Takeaway, Hardware/Bait Store, Internet access at local Hotel and chemist

The house is lovely to stay in and a great place to rest your head (and legs) after a day out exploring the Island. The house is well appointed with more space than your average holiday house. We did have issues with the TV reception but it wasn't much. A very quiet location with friendly neighbours.

The property was the perfect location with close access to the local supermarket and lovely cafes.

Amazing
Considering the terrible circumstances of the worst bushfires that KI has ever see, the property was immaculate & in such a convenient location. We unfortunately had 2 cut our stay short by 3 days & Sarah was outstanding in communication & understanding. I, seriously can't recommend their property or service enough. We wish we could have stayed the entire time. It was comfortable, clean & well provisioned. We greatly appreciate everything that Sarah has done for us & hope to visit again. Kind Regards

Perfect holiday destination
Loved it at the Boat House . Beautifully presented . Great location just short walk from a very safe beach for the grand children .
Very well set up however it was very hot while we were there and a fan would have been useful.

The home was perfect for our needs for this trip! Great layout with two living areas, spacious and everything was there that you need! the kitchen was fully decked out and first place I've stayed at where there was actually a reasonable amount of pots and pans and utensils! It was so handy to have all the linen provided as one less thing to have to take along in the car too. Very handy location and quite central to most attractions. Would definitely stay there again if we get back to K.I in the future. Thanks for providing home away from home!

The host Sarah is very informative and helpful, and readily responds to any requests or comments.
There were nice touches of wine and chocolates, and plentiful supplies, minimising the need to bring your own. Thanks Sarah, much appreciated.

Hi Sarah, we loved The Boathouse, plenty of room, clean, comfortable, we couldn't believe all the kitchen utensils, would highly recommend it. Loved the gardens,and not far to town, first day we were walking in the rain to go get our hire car and a lovely lady picked us up, everyone was so friendly and helpful, would certainly love to holiday there again.

Hi Sarah, your house was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better holiday. It was so lovely to come home at the end of the day to a clean, spacious and comfortable home. The whole family felt at home and were very relaxed.
The girls want to go back they had a great time. They especially loved the beds. They all said that the beds were very comfy. Better than any other holiday that they have been on. A well rested child is usually a happy child. What more could one ask for?
