Superb pool villa right on the beach with fantastic staff and service levels. A truly amazing find in a great spot on Phuket close to the airport.

Toller Ort zum Entspannen, traumhafter Strand, nette Mitarbeiter aber ohne Renovierung absolut keine 5 Sterne und kein T

Die Lage ist traumhaft, wenn auch sehr abgeschieden. Der Strand ist ein Naturschutzgebiet und daher sehr ruhig ohne Restaurants und Bars. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel waren sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Das Hotel ist wirklich in die Jahre gekommen und gefühlt wird kein Geld mehr für Renovierungen investiert. Der Ort ist so schön und es könnte so wundervoll sein. Leider sind die Villen in einem so schlechten Zustand, dass es teils schon gefährlich ist, vor allem mit Kindern. Im Pool in der Villa sind sämtliche Fliesen locker oder bereits ab und sehr scharfkantig. Daher hohe Gefahr sich zu schneiden. Die Poolumrandung war eine Zumutung, überall zeigte sich der Drahtzaun und stand hoch, welcher zum Schutz vor Schmutz auf den umlaufenden Ablauf gelegt wurde. Der kleine Whirlpool daneben verlor sämtliche Farbe im Inneren und die Düsen waren locker. Sämtliche Holztüren zum Aussenbereich war kaputt mit losem Holz ( Splittergefahr) und ließen sich nur schwer öffnen und kaum abschließen. Die Holzdielen im Zimmer unserer Kinder zeigten überall hochstehende Nägel, so dass barfuß laufen nicht möglich war. In den Bädern waren mehrfach Fliesen abgefallen und nicht ersetzt. Die Wasserhähne waren fast alle schief. Die Bettwäsche hatte Flecken, sowie die Poolhandtücher. Im Badezimmer der Kinder schauten lose Elektrokabel aus der Wand. Es ist eigentlich ein so wunderschöner Ort und auch die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und bemüht. Die Küche ist super und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Aber für ein 5 Sterne Hotel und für den Preis pro Nacht war es einfach nur traurig.

Beautiful place, great service

the villa was beautiful and spacious, the staff and service was great!!

out of 4 tvs only one was a smart tv, the other ones you could only see local television, so we couldn’t use those at all. Flooring had some cracks so we had to be careful stepping in certain areas and you could only have 2 complementary coffees Restaurant was overpriced and food wasn’t great (small and tasteless)

Very good

We stayed in April and there were very few people at the resort which made it very nice a private. We got a great deal on the prices. Their normal prices during peak season seem VERY high and I don’t think it would be worth it. The staff is AMAZING! Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and the food is good. The 1 bedroom suite is HUGE!! Private pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor area is amazing.

I think the prices are a little high for being so far north. They could have little updates in quality for the prices. The breakfast buffet is in one area and attracts many flies. They don’t really do anything about it and it makes it very nasty. Get their early to not worry about it. The beach is not the best to swim compared to the rest of the island but the walking is great.

Beachfront property located 20 minutes from Phuket Airport on Maikhao Beach. Easy transfer just get a taxi at the airport. Quiet area of Phuket, you will pretty much have the beach to yourself. Beautiful beach with clear water, no one selling you things. We stayed in a one bedroom villa, which was huge with a living room, dining room, and our own jacuzzi and pool. Very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Water bottles, coffee, and tea are complimentary. Mini bar in the room not complimentary. Safety deposit box, iron, large closet available. Plugs found at many different places thru the villa. The food was ok, no dishes stood out. Breakfast included. Room service until 9:30pm. Loved the location for relaxation but far away from the shopping and Patong. It takes an hour to get to Phiket market and Patong, taxi runs around 1,000 Bath so consider when booking. The service was great, starting from Nong and Russ at the front desk to waiters like Rum, Nichole, Winder, Anthony, and Panda. The spa services are a must try. We had 2 massages running around 3,000 Bhat each for 90 minutes. It was money well spent at the spa, especially after a long flight. Thank you to all the amazing staff.

Restaurant food for lunch and dinner was just ok. Pizza was tasteless, caesars salad was missing the cheese, and had stale croutons. Ordered all types of different food, and nothing stood out. The breakfast buffet and BBQ night were the best.

Quiet hotel next to the beach!

Very quiet hotel and direct access to the beach. Service was excellent! Massage was good!

The villas needs a lot of updating. The pools in the villas were tired looking. The hot tub was rusty. Very far from everything.

don’t think about it

nothing don’t waist your vacation days

it needs a complete renovation or the hotel is completely closed. The rooms are bad and dirty, the water is dirty and no electricity in the jacuzzi, we could not take a shower and they didn’t solve the problem , the swimming pool is dirty and not cleaned for a while, out side jacuzzi floor dirty and can’t sit in it, the hotel is not safe, the door opposite the beach is broken and anyone can reach your room, a lot of insects and the hotel is like an abandoned place or a prison , The worst experience in my life and this hotel does not rise to two stars not to five stars , if I will write all the bad things i need to make a book… and all that happens in my honeymoon

Peaceful and relaxing

The property is located on a magnificient beach. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. Two golf courses are a few kilometers away . I strongly recommend visiting during dry season.

I would stay here again, 4 nights would be ample just to get away from it all

This resort is off the beaten track, I wanted peace and quiet, and that is exactly what I got for 5 days. If you want a slither of nightlife or dining options, go elsewhere, I was quite content staying at the resort, booking into the spa and walks along the beach. The villas are huge and very private, by far the best value for money. Food was well priced, Spa was well priced.

The beach is a public beach, granted, not many people use it, nor do many people clean it up. So it’s a little off putting, non the less, beautiful sunsets. There is a lot of debris on the beach, mostly stuff that has been washed up on the beach as opposed to being left by visitors. Nothing to do with the hotel so I do not discredit them for it. Just manage your expectations, if you want a beach holiday, pick a resort with a private beach. The private plunge pools in the villas make up for the lack of beach time.

Exceptional

We spent 11 nights at Maikhao Dream Villa Resort and we truly enjoyed our vacation. The villa was huge with plenty of space, two private pools and a jacuzzi. Staff was super helpful and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was tasty and lavish. The hotel is located in a quiet area which was perfect for a calm family vacation without all typical hustle and bustle of Phuket. Many thanks to the hotel personal for making our vacation that good!

The sea was a bit rough for a baby to swim but, I guess, that was just a bad season for swimming at this area.

Recommended if you want a very quiet and luxurious vacation

The ambience, the vast size of the villa, the eagerness of the staff to help us - especially the chef who tried to prepare Indian daal and rice and roti for us, and was very close to excellence 😃

It is too far from the main city hub and main attractions. The taxi took almost an hour to anywhere (THB 800-1000)

Staff are amazing very helpful and professional at what they are doing ! at the check out day I asked to check out at 2 o’clock instead of 12 as my flight wasn’t till 7 pm so they allowed me to stay till 5 pm free of charge which was very nice and generous of them the property so big , nice and very clean.

the only thing is location a bit far from town

MaiKhao Dream Villa is excellent

We are more than satisfied with everything. Hospitality, excellent brekfast, space of the rooms...Maikhao Drean Villa Resort is AMAZING and all of recommendations for long empty beach, cleanliness and pools.

We like everything, maybe because Resort was almost empty, all atention of the stuff was dedicated to us.

Very good

Located on a beautiful empty beach. Rooms are very large and very nice. Location is some way from the tourist areas so having a car is handy. Perfect for quiet holiday away from it all

The breakfast was really bad. Punctuality could not be met for the time of breakfast. Food was cold even the eggs. Water was not running in the restroom for a big while during stay.
