Great central location. Charming host. Spacious room and ensuite bathroom. Quiet fridge in room. Very clean & tidy communal kitchen with fridge, free Nespresso & biscuits & sweets. Spacious clean & tidy terrace.

No real complaints. The room & ensuite furnishing was a bit spartan - e.g. clothes rack instead of wardrobe, spacious bathroom but little space for toiletries etc. Our room was over the main street so would be a bit noisy with the window open - but what would you expect! It's in the pedestrian zone so you can't park outside to drop your bags off - nearest car access is the Lagos underground carpark (only 10EUR/day) about 200m away.

What a wonderful experience. The place is IMMACULATE, probably the cleanest place we have stayed (cleanest than some 5 star hotels, def), central located but quiet (outstanding windows, so we didnt feel that we were in the middle of the action). This beautiful property, family owned, is located in the middle of Lagos Old town. Wonderful location, we went in an out while sightseeing the whole time. Jorge and Angela are adorable hostesses, making sure you have everything you need at any time. WE LOVED IT!!!

very nice small guesthouse--Jose the owner was very pleasant- you cannot get there directly by car--the streets are very narrow and we almost got stuck--- if you go drive around the main road by the beach to the below ground parking lot --park there-- and its a 5 minute walk

The guesthouse has a great location right on the main pedestrian area of the town with easy access to the waterfront, restaurants and shops. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. We weren't interested in cooking, but the shared kitchen was great for making coffee and keeping snacks and drinks available. There is a nice patio with tables and chairs that we used at breakfast each morning.

José was amazing. He was extremely quick to respond to any question(s) we had. He was knowledgable about the area (he grew up here), so could give us advice as to what things to see, what restaurants to eat at, etc.

The only thing that comes to mind is a very little bit of noise in the evenings, but that's to be expected when you're staying in the heart of Lagos. The window from your room is literally out onto the amazing markets, restaurants, etc.

Blue Moon Guesthouse was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at. Located in the heart of Lagos, it offers everything one needs for a great vacation. The room and bathroom were spacious and perfectly clean. What made our stay even more special, was the amazing owner José, who was very kind and hospitable. He recommended to us several Portuguese restaurants and places to visit in Lagos and at the end of our stay even left us a thank you note in our mother tongue, which totally blew me away. I wish we had stayed there longer and I hope we will come back one day :-).

Everything was perfect. The only thing that comes to my mind is that the guesthouse is truly located in the very center of Lagos, which we enjoyed a lot. However, if you are a light sleeper, you might consinder wearing earplugs during night because there might be some noise coming from the street.

Jose and his wife keep the entire guest house immaculate. Jose couldn’t have been more welcoming, helping with my bags, showing points of interest on map and generally making me feel like I was visiting family

The location was right in the heart of the old town - incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The host was very helpful and accommodating, including with providing great recommendations in the area.

Beautiful property with spacious rooms!

the property was exactly what we have seen when booking, but it still exceeded our expectations. they would come each day to clean the room, the staff were always very friendly and gave us a lot of tips of what to see and do in the city and also tips regarding things not to spend the money on as they were not worth it.

The property was in the ideal location right in the heart of Lagos Old Town. the cute patio and lounge were there if you wanted to utilize them and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

Loved the location . This guesthouse hits the spot for location, cleanliness, support to guests . Good size rooms , lovely bathrooms. a lovely guest lounge , guest kitchen and outdoor patio space ! At a great price ! Literally out your door and on to the best street in Lagos for dining and shopping !

Central location for tourist. Keep in mind that the high season is a busy time.Our stay was early June. Weather was glorious. Our host José and his family were exceptional - Portuguese hospitality at it's Best. The guesthouse is pristine - modern construction. Earplugs needed if you are a light sleeper. We will visit again.

the staff is super gentle, room are big, same as the bathroom, and very clean. there are a lot of service, like laundry and complete kitchen. in the center of the city. there is not a carpark, there is one close, at 5 minutes walking, not free. really a good host!
