The restaurant is wonderful; the chef needs a Michelin recommendation! The château is in a very quiet situation, with super views across fields of bunnies and pheasants. It is ideally situated for our travels through France. Our room had a balcony with a hot tub.
The breakfast is typical French carbohydrate, which is not great for me, but as French breakfasts go, it was fine.

Comfortable room in old chateau. Friendly staff and good continental breakfast. Restaurant is a very French fine dining experience so if you like rich food well prepared and presented this is excellent but if you are a steak and chips sort of person or a vegan perhaps it’s not for you.
Bathroom did not have curtains though was not overlooked. Bath lacked a fixed shower head.
We were in the attic room as the main accommodation on the first floor was being refurbished so can not comment on the latter

everything! fabulous stay - the accommodation, food and service were all excellent thank you !

Beautiful Chateau, close to the motorway. Large, individual rooms. Good restaurant at reasonable prices. Good value stay. Close to Laon which we very much enjoyed walking around.
Reception doesn’t open until 5pm, this is annoying when you have driven 6 hours and arrived slightly earlier but can’t check in. The rooms are large and seem newly refurbished but would benefit from more attention to detail. The tiles around the bath needed to be grouted.

The Chateau was in a peaceful setting and was beautifully presented. We found the staff very welcoming, pleasant and professional. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and delicious breakfast delivered to our room.
Would have been nice to have tea / coffee making facilities in the suite but this didn't spoil the whole experience.

The Chateau is a beautiful property in a stunning setting that is convenient to the A26 motorway. Staff are excellent and the food is exceptional.
The Rosa bedroom, where we stayed is situated in one of the turrets and is attractively quirky in its layout, while a Jacuzzi-style bath adds to its enjoyment. however, accessing the room, at the top of a narrow spiral staircase, with heavy baggage is a challenge. In view of its Euro 140 price tag per night, the room falls short of expectations in terms of the provision and quantity of linen - just two small and rather worn towels, a cheap duvet and pillow whose linen was well past it’s prime made one feel that corners were being cut.

Go for the rooms with the jacuzzi on the terrace... Also loved the basic, but very correct breakfast.

+ Beautiful suite in a tastefully decorated Chateau
+ Nice restaurant
+ large heated swimming pool (outside, covered)
- Panel IN the shower cabin did not work, so on/off and water temperature had to be done from the panel on the outside of the shower cabin. (Great shower cabin otherwise!)

Unique place to stay. Great additions like the jacuzzi and pool make it a place place to stay not just to stop. Late check out of 12pm also great...and needed to enjoy your amazing room.

Lounging in the jacuzzi, overlooking the beautiful gardens, with a glass of rose, late into the evening, was a real delight.
Breakfast only ok.

The room was amazing, as actually a whole suite of 3 rooms, known as the Rosa suite. It has a bedroom, small lounge and luxury bathroom, all for only £135! A lovely continental breakfast brought to our room was included in the price. The room was modern and minimalist, but did not detract from the character of the beams and was spotlessly clean! The bed was extremely comfortable too! There was a lot to like, the only thing missing was a full length mirror and that would be easy for them to add. We enjoyed our 1 night of luxury! We definitely will return 1 day as the positives easily outweigh the negatives. You would never stay in somewhere as good in the UK for that price! Nexy time we would travel to the lovely old nearby town of Laon for our evening meal.
The restaurant was disappointing for us as the food was OK, but nothing special and the service was slow. I see that a lot of people have given it good reviews, maybe we just picked a bad night! We were in a turret at the top of the castle with a lot of winding stairs, so that suite is no good for the old or unfit, but that's an old building for you! There needs to be a clear warning about this suite on the booking sites, as obviously there are rooms on a lower floor that would be more suitable for those who would be unable to cope with the stairs! We had to take up our own suitcases as there was no offer from the staff to help us. We didn't mind, but they should have offered as some people would struggle! This is why I haven't given a perfect 10!

Location amazing, beautifully renovated, restaurant exquisite.
A kettle in the room would have been nice for a morning hot drink.

A nice Chateau style property outside the beautiful town of Laon.
Nobody there before 5pm on the day of our arrival. Didn't find anything in my booking confirmation or on the website to suggest that this was likely. Also jacuzzi that was part of our room selection was not available for some reason. Judging from reviews only a week earlier it had been then. No real explanation.
