About this house rental
We offer ranch vacations, guest house rental, horseback riding, beautiful trail rides - on horseback of course - into the beautiful joshua tree national park. Knob hill ranch is built on 2.7 acres and nestled at the foothills of the black rock mountains. We have a bungalow for rent which is situated on the property (along with the owners ranch home). The bungalow is 950 sqf, octagonal built with impressive views from the mountains and the desert. It has one bedroom with a queen bed, sitting room with two queen sleeper couches (extra bed available), dining/sitting with breakfast table, full kitchen, huge bathroom with shower, and outdoor patio with dining table and chairs, barbecue, & burn barrel 'hobo hotty' to keep you warm for nighttime stargazing.

Absolutely loved this spot. The owners were fantastic and super easy to communicate with. I was also able to book a horse back riding experience through Joshua Tree National Park. The location is close to a lot of good restaurants and not too far from Coachella. I would definitely recommend anyone to book here and share in the experience. Additionally they also have very comfortable accomodations and the best Dovet I have ever slept on.

This is a nice place to stay. The listing describes this property perfectly! I would definitely be willing to stay here again. Everyone was very nice and extremely helpful. This property provides a very peaceful atmosphere.

Wonderful. Quiet, comfortable and just fantastic for people who want to bring their pets and who like being around horses (even if the horse with the blond-haired mane will kick the day-lights out of your dog! Watch out)

Pleasant respite
Nice location in the hills above Yucca Valley. Wonderful to be surrounded by horses -- and a mule. Serenading by neighbors was a little loud -- tolerable.

Very clean with nice extras - shampoo/conditioner, paper towels, toilet paper - making the stay more enjoyable and easier! The patio outdoors has fantastic views and a “mini” hike that has even better views. Great nighttime stargazing spot as well. The horse rides into the park were sold out so book those asap if you are interested!

We had an amazing time staying here for our anniversary. Barbara and Natalia were absolutely amazing and so friendly. The guest house is beautiful and even had some bird games we enjoyed! The ranch was wonderful and the vacation house was beautiful, clean, comfortable with great views. We took lots of hikes in Joshua Tree and appreciated host’s hike suggestion. I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the ranch and go horseback riding. Will definitely be back.

Nice comfortable house with all of the amenities needed for a short stay. We had a great time on the ranch, very kind hosts and an excellent stable of horses. We enjoyed our 2-hour ride up into Joshua Tree very much.

Our hosts were phenomenal, the horses were friendly, the chickens charming, and the mountainous views, romantic desert-scape, inspired artwork, and nearby wilderness hikes were the stuff that dreams are made of. Being from the city, we especially appreciated both the quiet nights for deep dreaming as well as the stellar stargazing- which was memorable even with a nearly full moon during our visit. Beeindruckende Landschaft, Tolle Gastgeber, liebe Pferde
Ich bin schon das dritte Mal auf der Knob Hill Ranch gewesen, es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Sehr gepflegtes Gästehaus, Pferde werden vorbildlich betreut. Als Gast fühlt man sich sofort willkommen. Ausritte in den Nationalpark sind grandios.

Cozy hideaway central to everything
Natalia and her crew of amazing people have created a very comfortable, art filled and horse loving respite. My young son, our dog and myself stayed at Knob Hill Ranch and were able to catch up on rest, love on horses and explore the park, the town and surrounding areas. This is an excellent home base. Thank you!!

Fabulous!
My wife and I stayed at Knob Hill Ranch in for 3 days April 2015 in the middle of our LA - Joshua Tree NP - Palm Springs vacation. We had a great, great time. Natalia and Don are wonderful hosts. The guest house was spotless, spacious and fully furnished. We wanted for nothing. I highly recommend the property!
We went on a trail ride on horses supplied by Natalia. We visited Joshua Tree NP and otherwise knocked around the area. Pappy & Harriet's is a must on open mic night. Pioneer Town is a hoot.
Beautiful country and a laid back vibe.
