The sleeping room includes kitchenette and bathroom. No need to be social, it's independent living here. In the country but right near Ashland. House is fairly new, with strong sound insulation so highway close by is buffered well. We provide sound filter machines and earplugs for those who are sensitive to traffic. Surrounded by mountain views. Bus stops are a few miles away. Small airport nearby. Golf course down the street.

We were grateful to find this rental for our last minute accomodation in Ashland as every other place was booked. Our room did not have a smoke alarm- it had been removed so that was different than the booking information and the room connected to the shared kitchenette and laundry facility. We did not like the shared bathroom situation as we seemed to be sharing with 3 other rooms and it was awkward. I am a light sleeper so early morning kitchen noise and smells woke me. The bed appeared to be two twin cots shoved together with a double mattress- a bit more snug than expected, but the bed was surprisingly comfortable. There was a fan to keep air flowing and we were able to open the windows just a bit at night. Its not what we were used to but it was very inexpensive so for what we paid it was fine.

I enjoyed my time (12 weeks) in Southern Ashland in the Country's Edge room. The vaulted ceilings made the room seem very large. It was nice and quiet despite being so close to the freeway. The hosts were super nice and accommodating. The room and shared spaces were clean. Overall, I would definitely stay there again if I was traveling through. Thank you for being such great hosts!

The Country's Edge Room is an easy 10 minute drive to the heart of Ashland. We enjoyed our short stay and had no issues. The walls are a little thin, but otherwise it's a great place!
