Wonderful location! Enjoyed our stay very much.

Warm inviting comfortable home with plenty of room for 10. Large family and dining rooms. Wonderful location downtown on dead end street steps away from all shopping and eateries. Quiet neighborhood. Abundance of hummingbirds. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Plenty of hot water for showers. Outside deck with large grill met our needs nicely. Just a very relaxing home to return to at the end of a busy day in Town or in the Park. I've been coming to the Island for 20 yrs plus and this is the most comfortable I've been. We will absolutely return again..thanx Jeff

The location is fabulous especially in such a walkable town! Beautiful older home, we stayed there a few months ago but my kids still talk about this house when we discuss our Acadia trip! It worked well for our family of 8!

The house was exactly as listed. It is an older home but maintained well. The house has three floors, bedrooms on the third floor got a little hot, there is no air conditioning but lots of fans, plan accordingly as they do allow you to bring your own a/c.

We had a great vacation at Eden Villa. The house is well equipped for families. Check in was easy and we communicated with Jeff easily. No issues except a heat wave in Bar Harbor the first 2 days we were there. We had lots of fans, but it was still really hot. House is centrally located to downtown Bar Harbor - only a 5 minute walk and 10 minutes to the entrance to Acadia. Thanks for a great stay!

Charming and convenient!
From the moment we pulled up all I could think was charming! Wonderful old house well maintained and decorated. Enough room for all, enough parking for our 2 large rental suvs and easy walking to the grocery store or downtown. Very nice deck and little garden area. We were 7 adults and 1 1yo and we loved our stay here. The dryer did stop working on us but they replaced it with a brand new one the next day. Very responsive and helpful owners.

We had a great time in Bar Harbor/Acadia, and this house was a big part of that. The host was communicative, and the house was clean and well-stocked, and the location is perfect. If we find our way back to Acadia again, we'll definitely try to book here again!

Couldn’t be better situated to explore Bar Harbor, Acadia and the surrounding area. Easy walk to downtown, short drive to the park etc. house was roomy and had useful outdoor space. We were able to skip the crowd and watch 4th of July fireworks from the porch.

As many others have said, the location could not be beat. Walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor and a very short drive into the park. Huge grocery store is just around the corner and the outdoor space was a very nice bonus. Upon arrival, the BBQ propane tank was empty and the house was low on paper products but the host brought replacements same day. Thanks again Jeffrey! The home is large and just as spacious as described but to be fair the furniture, beds, linens, towels, dishes, pots, etc are quite old, worn down and somewhat of a random assortment. The knives were sharp though! :) Ice-maker and fireplace were not working nor were several outlets. If you are planning to cook know that the only spices found were salt, pepper and a few ketchup packets. Stove top range is electric. All said, I think this home has a lot of potential to be a great rental someday but it's a far cry from the usual quality of home I rent on VRBO. IMO: It will take a complete upgrade to almost everything in the house in order to get it up to the quality that most renter's expect these days but at the end of the day, it was workable, comfortable enough, and we felt lucky to be in such a great location.

Outstanding location, very versatile and comfortable house. Kitchen well appointed, very enjoyable deck for relaxation and outdoor dining. We saved a bundle on eating out in restaurants by cooking at home, and saved a lot of time by being right downtown. Recommended for families!

We had a great time at this house. A real home away from home. The house is quite large with 5 bedrooms, a large deck, well stocked kitchen and a good size back yard. And just a short walk to the green, the park, grocery store, gift stores and restaurants. Parking is a bit tight but there is on-site parking which is a plus. The house is on a dead end street so there isn't any through traffic with people trying to avoid the main streets. We don't hesitate to recommend this property and will happily stay there on our next trip to Bar Harbor.

Great location and lots of space
Place is located in the center of town but on a quiet, private, side street. There is plenty of space for a large family to sleep, eat and lounge. The kitchen was very well outfitted. We had a wonderful time.

Amazing vacation in Bar Harbor
This house was absolutely perfect for my family. We had 9 people and there was so much space throughout the house. It was also in the perfect location in Bar Harbor, on a quiet street, and just a short walk to town. It is also right behind the grocery store, which was convenient. The deck was nice and the grill was perfect for a few meals at home. Finally, the owner was very quick to respond with any questions or concerns. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to do so in the future. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Very Comfortable house.
Although things started out a little bumpy, everything worked out in the end. We never received an email with check in information and when we tried to contact the owner by phone the number didn't work. We eventually contacted a representative of VRBO who was able to contact the owner on our behalf and we were able to confirm our rental and receive check-in info. The owner then immediately called us by phone to confirm that everything was in order and allay our concerns. We found the property to be clean, comfortable and everything we needed for a lovely vacation. It was centrally located and within walking distance of everything in town. We would not hesitate to rent this property again in the future.

Beautiful Bar Harbor
Bar Harbor and ANP never disappoint. It was a little hotter than expected the week we were there and fans in the house just couldn't quite keep up for our comfort. Everything else was great, the rooms were well laid out and spacious. The backyard and deck were great for dinners "at home" and hanging out with the family. The street is quiet and everyone was very friendly. We are already planning our return trip next year!

Great Location,Great Deck, A Bit Toasty
House is in a great location. Easy walking to town, restaurants, groceries shuttle buses etc. Lots of space in the house. We stayed during the week of July 4 and it was unusually hot/humid. House is not air-conditioned but has lots of fans. Living room furniture is a bit worn and could use some updating as well as some of the windows/ screens. Overall a good place to stay. Would stay there again.

The house was great. Loved the deck the kids enjoyed star watching @ night on the deck.
This was the BEST vacation. Acadia & Bar Harbor are so beautiful! The house was great for our 3 generation (9 people) family. The location is perfect for a short walk into town or a brief ride to Acadia & sites& hiking etc. We all enjoyed the jigsaw puzzles @ the house. House was clean & comfortable. Thanks for sharing your home!

Great location and good value
So close to everything! Walked to shopping, dinner, water, grocery and playground at the YMCA. Very close to Acadia so we went every day.

Spacious and Great Location!
The house is spacious, clean, and very well stocked. Air conditioning and a bathroom on the first floor would have made it better, but we still enjoyed it! The owner is very responsive and answered all our questions immediately. It's a quick walk to the Bar Island Path, Main Street, and the grocery store. We had a great time and would recommend this house!

Great location!
We loved our week in Bar Harbor and Acadia and the house is in the best location. Close to town, transportation and the grocery store. Very convenient. We were there in the middle of July and the house was very hot. I realize air conditioning isn't common in that part of the country but there was very little way to get air moving, especially on the third floor. It would also be nice if more of the windows could open and the veranda on the second floor/master was simply an oven. It is an old and rambling house and it had everything we needed and a great location. I would suggest some window units or somehow improving air movement in the summer months. Overall, we loved our stay, our location and the whole week.

Super location
Our family of 6, 3 generations, spent a week in this lovely home in Bar Harbor. It was a great place to stay, an easy walk to the pier, restaurants, shopping and ice cream. It is only a short drive to Acadia NP visitors center. So much to do while in Bar Harbor. The house was immaculate. Very comfortable with a large deck. There was space for all 6 to gather yet there were also many places for any of us to read quietly and get some alone time. The owner is very responsive. We had a couple of questions while there and he got back to me within minutes. Great place to stay. Bar Harbor is one of my favorite places....and this house helped make our stay one of best family vacations ever!

Family Fun in Bar Harbor
Lovely old home in quiet part of Bar Harbor. Plenty of space for our group of six plus dog to spread out. Wonderful deck off back of the house. Kitchen is well equiped. Laundry is in the somewhat scary basement. No handrail to use with the stairs in the basement. Lots of fans in the house but no AC. In master bedroom, only one window opens to the outside so no way to get cross ventilation. Shower off master is phone booth size. It worked well for us but could be a tight fit for some. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Large, Clean home for families
Our group of 5 adults stayed here for one week. The home was great! Very clean, well furnished and the best location. The walk into town was easy and right down the street. The neighborhood was quiet and not very busy. A nice grocery store was a block away. The bedrooms are located on the second and third floors. Two bathrooms are on the second floor, (one in hall, one in the master bedroom). Nice private enclosed deck off of the master bedroom. We enjoyed the gas grill on the large deck behind the house and eating breakfast on it also. There are fans available throughout the house if necessary. Although the temperature wasn't too hot it was good to have them during the day and especially at night when sleeping. The bedrooms are a nice size and there is plenty of dressers and closet space. The washer /dryer came in handy. Large kitchen with everything you need if you choose to eat in which we did a few times. Plenty of towels and linens provided. One tv in living room which we really didn't use. There are even books, games and puzzles if you want some down time after a busy day. Lots of room and very comfortable! Highly recommend this home!!!

Almost Perfect
Very comfortable home in very convenient Bar Harbor location. Our week went by in a flash. Parked our car and only used it a couple of times, although we were active every day! Walked to restaurants, walked to activities, walked to sight seeing.................walk, walk, walk................then eat, eat, eat. Lobster, lobster bisque, lobster rolls, lobster omelets...........what more could you ask for! Plenty of space in this home for family/friends gatherings! And the back deck with a fenced in back yard was perfect for grilling out and for our two pet dogs! We had no problems while we were there so we had no need to contact the owner after our initial "pick out a home on the internet period". Our advice, pick this one and you can't go wrong!
