unbelievably, I could not pay neither with a credit card nor a bank card; at the checkout I was confronted with only one solution imposed on me: just cash for the overall bill of over 370 Euros. And that not in the middle ages but in 2022 and after the sanitary measures linked to the pandemic. I really felt like a mafioso of oligarch expected to travel with a bunch of paper money. I think booking.com. should look into this practice.
