Intimate & very clean. Staff welcoming & helpful.

I love the location, the price and the old Israeli ambiance such as the breakfast and service.
Rooms are not modern and few amenities.

The breakfast had lot of options specially of local food. It could have more fruit options. The location of hotel was very convenient for visiting Netanya.
There was some misunderstanding when we have arrived, at 3 am, in the middle of night.
The receptionist was questioning if our payment was processed or not, which was really unpleasent in the middle of night after long journey, waiting half an hour to check in. The situation was resolved by calling hotel manager. The rooms are bit dated but functional.

the room looked a little dated.

Good location only
Very bad internet. Never Stay Above Floor Four at a Hotel, because of bad internet. Boring breakfast, the room very small and a carpet dirty, old.

The hotel is in a great location.
I expected more variety in breakfast. We had the same thing every day and mostly leftovers from the previous days.

Breakfast was great!

The hotel is ok for 1-2 nights, if you spend all the day somewhere else and return only for sleeping. Breakfast is poor, but the advantage is that they have coffee machine. Coffee is good. Room is not big, beds are clean and rather comfortable. The furniture is old. But this hotel has a very good location, and the stuff was very friendly.
Poor breakfast, old furniture in the room.

Acceptable
Elevator stayed only on half floor so you have to go in stairs anyhow.

Hot water didn't work properly, breakfast food was OK but its service was not good organized

The location is superb. Within a 5-10 minute walk, you can be at the beach or in the shops. The shower in the bathroom worked well and there was always hot water. Whilst the room has no tea or coffee making facilities, there is a downstairs communal coffee machine, hot/cold water that can be accessed 24/7.
We really value our privacy when we get the rare chance to be away, so we were really upset that a passing family member who had heard we were in town and staying at the mizpe yam was freely given our room number and allowed to pass reception and came up to our room at 08.30 whilst we were still asleep. When we questioned the owner/manager about this, it turns out that it was he who casually compromised our safety and privacy because he said it was basically our fault for telling people where we were staying!
We disagreed and said that we expect the hotel, especially in a country like Israel where security is paramount, to ensure its guests are safe and secure in their rooms. His argument, which he expressed with a very heightened voice and shouting and anger, was that the family member had said they wanted to make us a surprise. When we asked how he knew this was going to be a nice surprise, he became more aggressive again and told us that he used to be a police officer and had carried out a security check. This was really unacceptable and had this been someone wanting to cause us harm, they could have easily done so.
I would not recommend this hotel because of this breach of our privacy and security and also because of the rudeness towards us when we bought this to their attention.
I would also say that anyone thinking of staying here because it has parking, then please do not be deceived. There is no parking at all with this hotel, only on-street parking that is shared with residents of the street and their visitors. You will struggle to park and will have to walk from some streets away, so not ideal for those with mobility issues.
The hotel needs to invest in a really good vacuum cleaner and vacuum the carpets on the stairs and the welcome mat at the front. Also, each day when we came back to our room, it stank of smoke, so based on the previous aforementioned security breach, we do wonder if someone had been in our room during our absence.

Very friendly staff - our special thanks to Alla who helped us with useful advises and interesting excursions (to Jerusalem, Haifa, Dead Sea, etc)! Excellent hotel location. Nice and clean room. Pretty good breakfast. It was nice to see that the hotel owners were always on their everyday activities to keep the hotel in great condition and excellent service.
Everything was great!

Was lucky to get a parking space with no fee outside the hotel. An employee was leaving and gave her space to me.
Unfortunately I encountered the maintenance man doing reception duty. I had to stand my ground trying to get a paper cup from him for the coffee machine. Room I had would be draughty in winter as the balcony door had quite a few gaps around it. I think this is why the street noise was quite loud during the night.
Found an accumulation of dust behind the fridge when I went to unplug it.

As noted, the location is quite good, the breakfast is nice, there's plenty of downstairs seating and coffee is always available. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The wifi in my room wasn't adequate to do many things, such as watch movies. There was good wifi downstairs, but that isn't as convenient as having wifi in the room.

Breakfast was good. Room was of a decent size. Great location close to the beach.
Had to pay cash - apparently credit card machine was not working. Rooms need a refurbishment. Carpet floor of the room needs a good cleaning
