Отель расположен в живописном месте, очень удобном для пешеходных маршрутов по природным жемчужинам острова. Пейзажи вокруг отеля и вид с балкона меняются на протяжении суток и поражают своей красотой. Недалеко расположена смотровая площадка, на которую каждый день автобусы привозят группы туристов. можно совершить пешеходную прогулку в деревню Куррал Даш Фрейраш и, при желании, вернуться обратно автобусом. Рядом с отелем есть кафе и большой сувенирный магазин с хорошими ценами и ассортиментом. Большой выбор вин. У нас был чудесный номер с огромным балконом и джакузи, уборка - ежедневно, Спасибо,

Изумительная природа и локация. По воскресениям в монастыре на Службу в Церковь приглашают выстрелами. )))) отличный шеф по меню на вечер (но завтрак хуже не придумать).
Экономия на всем - отоплении, ремонте, электричестве, отделке, интернете, кофе и чай в номере пить невозможно. Наборов для бритья и зубных щеток нет. Эффективные менеджеры (которые, скорее всего, сами не работают на фронтдеске)уверено ведут отель к краху.

Es confortable, las camas no pueden ser más cómodas. Es muy tranquilo, no se escucha ni un solo ruido. El spa y el gimnasio añaden muchísimo valor. El entorno es una maravilla.
La habitación de mis suegros tenía el wc sucio y un chicle pegado en el suelo cuando llegamos. Al día siguiente, continuaba allí (después de que hubiesen entrado a limpiar). El desayuno va escaseando a medida que avanza, no tiene la misma variedad quien va a las 8 que quien va a las 9. El restaurante es flojo para los precios que cobran, y a pesar de que las presentaron como tal, no son “las mejores lapas de Madeira” ni de lejos.

La ubicación es increíble . La zona del spa un lujazo con las vistas . Aunque se ve que se construyó hace tiempo estaba muy muy limpio todo. Lo recomendamos !
Podrían renovarlo en relación al diseño pero la ubicación y la paz del lugar lo compensa

Possibilité d'aller au jacuzzi et piscine, vue exceptionnelle sur les montagnes depuis tout l'hôtel.!
Propreté nappe à revoir. Sauna payant.... Massages non disponibles à toute heure malgré demandeuse résa la veille au soir. Pas de carte des randonnées du lieu (ni papier ni par numérique) alors qu'on en a trouvé à Curral das freiras...)

La belle chambre spacieuse, avec vue sur curral Das Freiras . La qualité de la literie .
L'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel de l'hôtel.
L'espace piscine jacuzzi incroyable , eau chaude , vue magnifique et grande d'une grande propreté .

Habitación muy amplia y cómoda.El personal un encanto! Las vistas son alucinantes. La zona de jacuzzi y piscina muy bien. Desayuno súper completo!! Además hay aparcamiento gratuito. Detalles que nos gustaron: papelera con separación para reciclar, espejo de aumento con luz y ducha en condiciones que no se moja todo el baño!!
La ubicación es preciosa pero algo retirado y con la carretera en el último tramo bastante estrecha

Abbiamo trovato formiche in camera!! forse? per non avere pulito il cestino dai precedenti clienti. Chiamato la reception hanno spruzzato insetticida mentre eravamo in camera Maggiore accuratezza nella pulizia sopratutto considerando le 4 stelle!
La colazione è veramente cattiva, sia come qualità bevande/caffè che come pane, il venerdì c'era addirittura il pane vecchio del giorno prima!! Incommentabile!!
Ci aspettavamo la piscina riscaldata ma si riscalda con il sole ...se c'è!

Côté spa le sauna est payant et le bain à remous est désinfecté avec des produits irrespirables, piquant les yeux

Nice comfortable room, beautiful location, convenient parking.
Not mainly the hotel's fault but it's generally loud, expect harsh noises after midnight and also starting at 5AM, not good soundproofing in the rooms. The location would suggest a nice calm stay in the mountains with birds chirping (which you can have for short periods) but mostly you only get loud backpacker groups slamming doors, yelling along the corridors and their drones flying around the hotel when you want to look at the beautiful landscape.

Het restaurant viel tegen qua kaart, hele grote ruimte, weinig eters.

The views were spectacular! The restaurant food was great. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. Loved the towel warmers in the shower and the bathrobes that came with the room. The beds were the most comfortable on the island. Loved that each room had a balcony overlooking the Valley of the Nuns.
The wifi didn't work the second night of our stay, hotel staff blamed it on the fog. There is barely any cell phone reception in the hotel, so there was no way to communicate with the outside world that night. Although the jacuzzi was a great touch, the water wasn't very hot. And although the restaurant food was great, it was one of the most expensive places that we dined at on the island, and it was not worth the money spent.

Only views are great!
I've stayed in 4 different 4 star hotels this time, but this one wasn't even close. Overprised restaurant, they charge you even for mayonnaise. Incompetent staff, doesn't even know the history of the valley that views are spreading over. Bringing leftovers and claiming it's a proper dish. Staff asking your room number even if you ask simple questions. Not even near the money you pay.

Die Aussicht. Qualität des Essens (Ausnahme Frühstück).
Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Ausser im Zimmer war es überall etwa dreckig und lieblos. Das Essen zu teuer und der Spa Bereich wird seinem Namen kaum gerecht. Zudem war der Spa Bereich sehr dreckig und wirkte eklig. Ausserdem ging in der Nacht 2 mal der Feueralarm los, was niemanden zu interessieren schien und keiner vom Personal etwas dazu sagte (wir waren die einzigen, welche im Ausgangsbereich waren). Schade, das Hotel hätte viel Potential.

Mettre le réfrigérateur en option à 2€ dans un hôtel 4 étoiles qui coûte déjà un certain prix, c'est un peu "ridicule", surtout qu'il faudra compter 4h pour qu'il soit froid... Le restaurant n'est pas un bon rapport qualité/prix...

Very peaceful and beautiful place. Great if you really just want to get away for a while and rejuvenate. Staff was fantastic and Emídio at the desk went out of his way to make us comfortable
The property is somewhat isolated and if using public transportation there aren’t many options after noon. Taxis and ride share is also complicated so you really need to rent a car. But this all adds to the sense of “getting away”

Very far away, road there isn’t the best for driving. The hotel is rather outdated, and not cozy. Breakfast was very disappointing, and the staff wasn’t polite.
I would not book it again…

Vue sublime, grande chambre confortable, literie trés bien, belle grande salle de bain, espace détente super: vue fabuleuse du jacuzzi et des transats, coin billard sympa.
Diner au restaurant de l'hôtel trés correct
Coté petit déjeuner: les produits charcuterie/fromages étaient de piètre qualité. Jus de fruit et café trés médiocre et pain trés bof
Heureusement il y avait de bons fruits et des viennoiseries (qualité Métro certes, mais bien décongelées et cuites, c'est déjà ça!)

Foi a 3 vez que fiquei lá hospedada. O local é calmo bom para relaxar com vista maravilhosa. O quarto grande e confortável. O pequeno-almoço bom. O jantar a Lá Carte, muito bom comida tradicional bem confeccionada.
Quando marquei o hotel, escolhi por estar incluído no preço o uso do jacuzzi e piscina interior. Para decepção estava fora de serviço com uma avaria no jacuzzi. A água da piscina interior muito Fria para esta época do ano. Ficamos com muito tempo livre sem nada para fazer. Quando a intenção era usufruir do spa. Deveria haver um desconto ou uma compensação. Afinal é hotel & Spa.

La vue (sensationnelle), la chambre (plus grande que je le pensais), la piscine/jacuzzi, le personnel très agréable aussi bien à l'accueil que au restaurant
Le volet et plus particulièrement le crochet pour le maintenir que semblait prêt à tomber 😅 sinon hormis ce détail rien à redire

Die Lage direkt am Aussichtspunkt und mit Blick vom Zimmer-Balkon ins Tal ist natürlich sehr gut. Das Zimmer war schön, renoviert und sauber. Da das Hotel in der Vor-Saison nicht ausgebucht war, hatten wir unsere Ruhe. Im SPA-Bereich waren wir nicht.
Das Frühstück war etwas besser als erwartet - so gab es auch frisches Obst -, aber nicht so, wie in anderen 4-Sterne-Hotels.
